Problem of its satellite L750-1XK - work for 1-2 minutes then cuts

I have a Toshiba Satellite L750 1XK, my laptop is about 18 months old now

The problem I had is that the sound works for a minute or two and then cut! I saw a LOT of people in this forum have the same problem, but I'm yet to find a thread where the problem is actually solved.

As with most of the people with the same problem, I can plug in headphones and remove them and it works again briefly, but then turns off again. I tried everything I can think of. I don't know much about laptops, but I tried to reinstall the drivers, I checked the Device Manager to see if there were problems in there, but everything seems fine.

Then I thought that maybe my computer has too much stuff on it and, removed everything and defraged etc. and cleaned but still not working. So I decided to go a step away and actually restore laptop to factory settings, it all scratched and did install a clean windows and its still doing the same thing.

I have really no idea what to do now. Is this a hardware problem, if so it will be an expensive solution?

Had the same problem with my other laptop equipped with a card Realtek sound and I could solve this latest installation updated audio driver the Realtek driver page.

But it seems that your Satellite L750-1XK does not support Realtek audio chip but the Conexant audio chip.
Therefore, the solution could not be useful for you.

However, I suppose that there are two possible reasons for this:
(1) failure driver sound
(2) failure of the sound chip.

In case of malfunction of the audio driver, I recommend you to google for driver Conexant SmartAudio HD and test the latest version of the driver available. On the internet, I find the Conexant SmartAudio HD driver version 8.65.9.51 for Win 7 / 8 Win / Win 8.1

To manually update your driver:

1. go into the Device Manager (right click on my computer, choose manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel)
2. right click on the device you want to update and choose Update driver software
3. choose Select the location of the new driver manually and navigate to the folder where you downloaded the driver

In case of malfunction of the sound chip, you can try to use an external USB sound card.
