  There are some problems with installing xp on vista laptop... After talking to toshiba agent he's recovery discs there to put xp on as a straight install normally fails by experience.

  I have a Dynadock U10 (PA3575E-1PRP) connect my laptop R600 (PPR61E-00600CEN) to various USB devices and ethernet, a VGA to VGA monitor cable. All devices and monitor were previously connected to the laptop through its own ports, where everything worked fine. If I disconnect the Dynadock and return to the use of all the ports on board for all devices of same, everything still works fine. But with the Dynadock installed I get frequently stops 'blue screen '. The interval between them is something 10 minutes to 12 hours, but they occur more frequently when there is a high volume of i/o readers connected to the network. (They also occur when the laptop is in sleep mode.) This means that I am not able to complete any analysis antivirus backup full system, and often losing jobs when the system shuts down.

  I unplugged every device on the Dynadock one by one, but the errors continue * _only_ * when the Dynadock itself is connected and * _whenever_ * the Dynadock is connected without worrying which devices are on it.   I agree with Akuma. Please post the exact BSOD code because there are so many codes and with the right code, you can identify what is causing this problem.

  It's really hard to say what causes this problem (without code BSOD) but have you tried with SP2 only? SP3 makes sometimes problems so you should try it with SP2 only.
  In addition, remove the Norton Security software. To be honest I n t have good experience with it and it blocks a lot of files, etc.

If I try to print certain types of documents they appear not printed correctly with the missing lines as if I try to print the colours of setting and lack them.   I have currently an old model WRT54G Router installed wireless that works very well, but I need the WPS technology if I want to install a newer model WRT310N router. I used the installation cd supplied with the router, which has not seen any problem until I removed the old router and plugged in power in the new after connecting the anc ethernet cables to my cable modem. For some reason any the software wont recognize the new router so I can continue with the configuration of the installation. Since I plugged the new router in the same connections that I had had the old LInksys router connected to, I do not understand why and I can not proceed with the installation. I finally just reinstalled... connected., my old router and it works fine, but this isn't a solution for me.

I also tried to use 192.168.1.1. via my browser and could up the installation screens but it wont let me install the new router so that the old one is still in place and without the old one in place, I can not access the configuration on my desktop screens.

  Thanks for the tips on how to handle this. Fortunately, I discovered later that the Linksys router, I bought on ebay, is apparently defective and it now resides in my trash. That said, I also realized with the help of a neighbor that my Kindle works with the good old Linksys router I used for 4 years or more. My problem was to not understand how to download books on the Kindle, even though I thought I did. So the problem is moot. Sorry I got worth this site with no problem.
