  Right-click on the clip and select the speed/duration.  Don't forget to check the box for ripple edit, move the creeping Clips.    You can select and change multiple clips at "drawing", a box (marquee tool) around the appropriate clips, then right click on for speed/duration.

  Here is a basic overview of what I've done and what I * want * to be able to do next.

  I have a piece of relatively low quality of the music which I have added to a track on the timeline.  It's over long 6mins and I used keyframes (?) throughout the track to reduce the volume of every time that the Narrator speaks, (another track on the timeline) and then lift the piece of music volume back up again when he doesn't speak. Do this and make the spot - we took some time to considerabnle.

  Guess what?  I have now received a much better quality of audio in exactly the same way.

  So my question, if you please - how to change the destination of track timeline music... ?
  It is a diffiuclt little to explain... I just want to change the source of a piece of music, so instead of a horrible dusty mp3 version, I mean PE4 use .wav place - without remove the track on the timeline and lose all my audio keyframes.

  Is it possible to select the audio track on the timeline or project, then right-click and selecting Properties and then change the location of the files... ?

  I don't know if that makes sense!  Is this possible?

  Peter,

  Put your music on another Audio track. RT-click the keyframes, and then select copy. Then Rt click on the again and choose Paste attributes. This assumes that you have used the keyframes of the elements. If you used track keyframes in the original, you would simply replace your original with the new Clip, as track keyframes would remain. Track keyframes are added in the Audio Mixer Panel.

  I noticed that Lightroom was running slow so I thought it was time to take stock. (I was using Lightroom 5.7). Yesterday, I downloaded the last LR update, which is Lightroom CC [1067055]. I was working off of Yosemite, so I hope that the error can be corrected if I updated my operating system. Today, I downloaded El Capitan and Lightroom CC will not always open - I get the same error. I went to manually update the read and write permissions for the folders listed, but some of them don't make changes. The preferences file gives me an error saying "the operation cannot be performed because you don't have the necessary authorization." I don't have the "Adobe" folder in this route Caches

  Try this:

  the Macintosh HD > users > [your user folder... click on 'Go' on the options bar at the top on the desktop (Menu bar) > then click on the 'option' key > mouse down to the selection of 'Library' that should appear > click on it to open the folder /Users/ [your user name] /Library/ ' "]

  You should now find the appropriate folders to change permissions. Just give your user name of the read/write permissions. I don't think you want to give everyone the read/write permission as some authors have claimed.

• Cannot change the properties of some mp3 files.

  I right click on a file and go to properties, then detalis everything is empty beside the property tab and I can't enter anything in value, and read-only is unchecked.

  Are you sure these are MP3 files and not another type, such as WAV? Please verify this by checking the file type in the file properties- general tab.

  Have you tried to reboot the PC? If you start Windows in clean boot mode, can change you the fields then?

  Also, please check if you can still edit the tags of the files with an editor of tags like Mp3tag owners.
