Problem of update and Windows 7 Professional

I have windows 7 Professional, and in the last two months, I noticed that only one or two updates of many of those who have tried have managed.  I then followed the recommended solution from Canadian Tech on August 19, 2016 compared to the installation of "KB3172605".  It turns out that it was already installed on my computer.  That being the case I am still unable to update.   I should also mention that despite a few updates succeed, when I check the update history it says no updates never occurred (which is not true).  Any solution?

I've not seen or heard of what you described before.  If it was my computer, I would consider seriously limit how long I'd be willing to invest to fix the problem.  The alternative is to do a clean reinstall.  In many cases, who turns out to be a time saver, and then you have the added benefit of a virginal State system perfectly clean.

Help! I get the error message 0 x 80190194 when I try to enable Windows Update in Windows XP Professional

Current solution: download IE8 for XP, run who, follow the Setup Wizard, wait for his failure. Download manually upgrade restart, recommended.

Restart the installation of IE8, wait that he remove previous IE. Reset.

Installation of IE8 restart to restart. Let it run. May need to restart.

Try to run windows update again. IF it works, woot, otherwise download the SP3 of XP service pack from Microsoft. As the Windows update fails, you must not download an installer, but an ISO standard. Burn the ISO to a CD and install (way to go...) or download a free tool like 7Zip and unpack iso and install a go from there.

From there on, the installation of SP3 and hope this works...

  • Installation problem: other updates and security for Windows Vista (KB981852)

In my history of update, this update shows as installation again and again "with success" since August, but he is still listed as an update to install.  This also applies to Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (kb948465), who has reportedly updated several times and still is listed as an update.

Some info: I'm currently using Norton 360 - like Firewall and antivirus.  I also run Spyware Doc.  I was attacked last year, computer failed and I had to wipe my computer. (Assistance with this manufacturer.)  I'm not sure it solved the problem.  Since then, I have had problems with the computer running the browser to leave/run slowly, slowly, the problems to open programs.  This may be due to the loop of 'Windows update '?

    Thanks for any help.

Model No. - HP Pavilion dv6330ea laptop. Check out the link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&d

I bought my laptop in UK and I intend to improve my system Vista Home Premium 32-bit to Windows 7 Professional 32-bit.

In some forum users have mentioned that.

Users with nVidia graphics card should check the temperature of this device before upgrade.

In this way you will know is it works fine under Windows 7 also.

How you can check your laptop CPU (processor), the GPU (graphics card), the motherboard or HARD drive temperature?

To do this use HWMonitor (free and recommended) or Aida64.

Q1] what is the minimum temperature / best should have the CPU and GPU, motherboard, HARD drive?

Q2] is that this temperature is sufficient to upgrade to Windows 7? It will create no problems after the upgrade to Windows 7? This is the value of the temperature of my system of CPUID Hardware Monitor v1.22

  • Automatic update in Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3

I have Windows XP Professional with Service Pck3 and I met a virus/malware I finally solved.  Now, my only problem is that my automatic updates of windows does not work.  I have the red shield with the X in the toolbar.  I tried to activate the automatic updates without success and have even tried to download updates manually.  When I try the manual download, I get a Web site problem message with error 0 X 80070424.  I need help to try to tackle this problem.  Thank you

    Results

    (1) Malware Bytes - nothing found
    Super 2) Anti-Sypyware-23-threats-4 registry, file 19
    (3) eSet Online Scanner - nothing found
    (4) MSRT-nothing detected
    (5) WindowsXP-KB942288-v3 - x 86 .exe - downloaded, saved and run
    (6) Windows Update Agent-recorded on disk Local (c :))
When %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe/WUFORCE has been typed in the box RUN he came "Could not find".
When %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe has been typed in it finished the installation.
    (7) Windows Update components FixIT - it did NOT offer me a version of aggressive to work then he ran the version offered.  Results - a problem to need attention and one or several components of Windows Update are configured incorrectly.

These are the results.  I followed your links and even ran everything twice more than double control to make sure that I don't have an error somewhere in the process.  What's next?

    (6) you must put spaces in... There are spaces.

    %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe /WUFORCE
    .. .is (phonetically?)...
    %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe/WUFORCE

I still say, "If you"solved"the problem of virus/malware in anything other than a wipe/regeneration - it may not be completely fixed or have still a few remaining damage that the probability of fixation is thin votes to zero.»  (In other words - I recommend a format/install). »

Not only did I always say this, I think you have discovered that it will probably be necessary.

You might be able to do something with SFC/scannow , or be Windows XP, possibly a repair install might fix things (if you have a Windows XP with the Service Pack 3 installation CD or can integrate a new installation CD for Windows XP SP3).

SPACE does the work.  I then restarted the update Windows components and then successfully downloaded and installed 9 security updates.

I understand the fact that you still recommend a format/install. Not having done it would be prudent to see how the operating system is running and if I have any further questions or you feel it is too risky on a computer used to pay bills and perform other necessary transactions. The computer is older and the cost may not be a return value.  I wait your answer before I post any other questions.  I thank you for your time and expertise.
