Problem PORTRAIT landscape

Hi all

I'm locking in Portrait mode but for 9900 device, it will be in landscape so to do this I use good condition.

User UiEngineInstance interface is Ui.getUiEngineInstance ();.
If (Display.GetWidth () == 640)
ui.setAcceptableDirections (Display.DIRECTION_LANDSCAPE);
on the other
ui.setAcceptableDirections (Display.DIRECTION_PORTRAIT);

but a strange problem that happens with me.

When I run the app in the simulator of Tourch 9800 and change this landscape mode while for the splash screen, happens in the following condition:

If (Resolution.getResolution () == Resolution.RES_480x360) {}
Splash = "splash_480.png";

and after him for the rest project goes into the following condition:

If (Resolution.getResolution () == Resolution.RES_360x480) {}

bgBackground = "bgmain_360.png";

That's why happing?

can someone please suggest the exact solution.

I can give some thing simple u apply I know that this will not be the perfect solution.

img= Bitmap.getBitmapResource(ImageResource.getInstance().getSplash());

        VerticalFieldManager vfmMain = new VerticalFieldManager()
        {
            protected void sublayout(int maxWidth, int maxHeight)
            {
                super.sublayout(Display.getWidth(), Display.getHeight());
                setExtent(Display.getWidth(), Display.getHeight());
                img= Bitmap.getBitmapResource(ImageResource.getInstance().getSplash());
                this.setBackground(BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground(img));
            };
        };

  • Different layouts to Portrait/Landscape page & other general issues

    Hello

    I am writing an iPad App on any Flex experience. I have some knowledge of previous Actionscript, although my experience is in web development or Win Forms Applications. I think that, above all, I just need to get my head in the right place, so I have a few questions.

    1. different layouts for the States of Portrait/Landscape

    I really do not seem to understand the "States", so I don't know if they have what I want to use or not, but I've been struggling with this for a while.

    I want a label on the page that says "your device is in Portrait Mode" etc. However, when you rotate the device, it will change to 'your device is in Landscape Mode.

    The purpose of this is so I have completely different layouts (changing all values of text alignment etc.) for each mode.

    2. different "Pages" / views ".

    Another thing that seems just a foreign concept to me, but it is also common in Windows phone development.

    I have a collection of buttons/links/w and when I click on one I want that he take me to another page with text.

    Thank you for any assistance in these areas.

    Note that the helpful videos on the drivers support page for help with the installation of the printer software.

    I'm not at all sure that I can help with the download of the Adobe Reader software, although I might suggest that you try another browser; You may want to DISABLE the extra bits on (McAfee offers) download page - the extra "stuff" to add to the confusion during the download.

    I took a quick look at the contents of the manual and see nothing definitive that would help - I could have missed something.

  • Select Portrait/Landscape with email/eprint - how?

    I printed my webOS, HP Veer coupon and it printed landscape, even if the default printer is set to portrait. How can I control this when printing remotely by e-mail?

    HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-One Printer - J611h a

    Spreng,

    Most likely, regardless of the attached site puts the coupon shaped the print job to print in landscape orientation.  If you are able to open the file and change the orientation to portrait, then it should print in portrait mode.

    Depending on the type of file, image, or document, the change of direction may not be possible.  In your response, you have specified that is an image file, which most likely won't be not customizable print for reading in a portrait orientation.

  • why it is so difficult to mix portrait/landscape pp?

    I do a form.

    First page must be the portrait and contain specific information - Master Page 1.

    2 pages are also portrait but have different information, use a different master page, 2 MP.

    Next page (or pages if there is a lot of entry) are arranged. ANOTHER master page. MP 3.

    the final page of ALWAYS is another master page whose content is set ONLY to happen only once, last page. Not worried about it.

    So what is the best way to do this - create MPs and apply them? I tried that and I get additional pages that I can't get rid of.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Marla

    Select MP1, then choose a different paper size in the palette of the object.

    My example uses 4 format, sorry.

  • Pages of the printed document & portrait or landscape

    I have a Pages document that seems confused about its portrait/landscape format. It looks like landscape on the screen (that's what I want), but it prints to the portrait, cut pieces. If I look at the document formatting, portrait mode is ticked (checked)!

    If I change the formatting for the landscape, the document is changed to resemble portrait.

    Any ideas of what could be the cause? Or what I could do to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Pages Version 5.6.1

    OS X El Capitan 10.11.1

    Portrait/landscape is an orientation in the printer dialog box not a form.

    Portrait is the right feed. The landscape is turned by 90 °.

    You can have a wide portrait and a narrow landscape.

    Just get agree with your format paper and how it feeds into the printer. Check the configuration of the printing paper size is actually higher than it is wide.

    Seems like you should have a set of size A4/Letter mode top landscape (rotation).

    There are mistakes occasional in the printer drivers with the latest versions of Mac OS x. try to download the latest driver for your printer and see if that solves it.

  • Get the widths of landscape and portrait

    Hi all

    Is it possible to get the width of the landscape of a screen (or just the screen) while the device is in portrait orientation and without rotation/tilt physically the device? and vice versa?

    The only way that I can think of is to force the screen in, say, portrait landscape (via Ui.getUiEngineInstance () .setAcceptableDirections (Display.DIRECTION_LANDSCAPE)), out of Display.getWidth () and then force back in orientation. I don't know if it will even work or is the the best/most simple method.

    Any help?

    Thank you

    The safest way to get the current width/height is to override the sublayout() method appropriate to the screen, Manager, etc. and update the required values (e.g. update of width of the button). that is when orientation changes, a sublayout is triggered, where you update buttons as. Inside of the paint just function use the measurement buttons to draw the dimensions for the size of the newer buttons based on the available width. Database available on the values provided by the call to sublayout instead of Display.getxxxxx values.

  • LaserJet P1102: do not print landscape

    It is surely not normal... I just said my new P1102 cannot print landscape.

    I have not heard this kind of thing being said since about 1987 Symphony finally worked out how to print spreadsheets in format landscape.

    Surely this is not right?

    Can peope really even printers that can't print landscape?

    My problem is this, my old HP printer died recently, so I bought this new, the P1102. Worked great until I tried to print the Excel calendar in the landscape. Just wouldn't do, just do print portrait regardless of what I tried to change the settings.

    Try printing landscape in other software too, but only ever printed portrait.

    Can someone either help me solve this oooooor (gulp...) confirm that this new printer can not print landscape.

    I am astounded that there are always done printers that can't print landscape... say it isn't so... Please...

    Incredible... I answer to my own problem of forum here as Support HP were unable to help me.

    My original problem was that I couldn't print any form on my new Laserjet P1102 landscape software.

    I called and they told me that P1102 'n' print landscape.

    I was stunned.

    Then the guy said that he was jumping on my computer to see if there was anything he could do, he did, and then confirmed my printer CANNOT print landscape.

    Confused I checked then a colleague who also has a P1102 (where my purchase) who say that he has no problem printing landscape at all.

    What the...

    I then noticed something... in my list of printers and devices, the new P1102 was referenced as follows:-

    XPS HP Professional Laserjet P1102...

    What is XPS......? ! My colleagues didn't say that.

    So I uninstalled the printer and re-installed. Now works fine and prints landscape most certainly!

    No idea what is XPS or why he was there, I do not, my printer now works fine, but HOW ON EARTH, a HP technical support guys can say this printer does not print landscape is beyond me. Easy to miss the XPS thing perhaps, but I can't imagine there was a printer cannot print landscape for 30 years so why he said that I have no idea.

    Thus, no faith in the team of support here, I'm afraid. Google has more help.

  • Legal size printing problem

    I have recived a document which is the legal size. Acrobat XI worm 11.0.03 opens the PDF file very well and the print dialog it previews correctly. I select the document to choose paper size which it performs correctly. However, when I retrieve the printed information is moved down on the paper cutting part of it on the bottom. I also have problems when the document contains a mixture of legal and letter size pages overall. Does anyone have ideas for a solution?

    Acrobat ver 11.0.03

    HP LaserJet P4015

    OS X worm 10.8.3

    I also found this to be a problem with a mixture of letter and 11 x 17 on Windows 7 and XP.

    The problem occurs under the combination of Choose page PDF format paper source and Orientation - self portrait/landscape.  To correct this problem, set the radio Portrait Orientation or landscape instead of Auto.  This will cause 11 x 17 pages to print upside down, so we need to rotate 180 of the document or in the print driver.  Also note that all letter landscape pages print upside as well.  I hope this helps.

  • CS6, any layout?  No print landscape?

    CS6, any layout?  I don't see any option that allows me to choose Portrait or landscape.  I use mountain lion and a canon mp560.  There is nothing under print settings.  "orientation" is a problem of compatibility between CS6 and my printer?  Is there a solution?  (I use cloud creative)

    You must open the print command and then in the Photoshop print settings (the main area of print dialog), go to configuring the printer. You will find the Portrait/Landscape and the print button settings buttons you sepect correct printer settings...
