Problem reinstalling XP Professional

I started to reinstall win xp home edition, and then when he asked me for the product key, I realized my key was for win xp professional and now it won't allow me to reinstall xp professional.  He always tells me to put in the home edition, but I don't have a key for that.  How do I start again?

Unfortunately, you have already done too much damage.

What is the brand, model and model number of your PC? If it came with a hidden hard disk restore partition AND if you delete this partition, you still have the chance. Otherwise, you must do one of the following:

1. get (for example, borrow) the installation CD, i.e., an OEM Windows XP generic Pro installation CD corresponding to (probably) and use it with your key.

2. go to the manufacturer and we hope that they can provide you with the appropriate recovery disk.

or

3. go into http://restoredisks.com/ and see if they have the appropriate for your PC media.

Your relocation was made of a set of recovery discs Dell - which uses a key to Dell and cannot be enabled on any other brand.

It's a Dixons computer odf, then I suspec that the COA sticker on the case is for XP Home edition, while the installation is Pro.

You need to return to this system to its licensed version of Windows by using the recovery media for that PC - or a good disc XP Home OEM System Builder.

    Problem reinstalling Windows XP

I'm having a problem reinstalling Windows XP.  After formatting the disk and create partitions, it will not complete the installation.  He goes back and reinstall Windows again.  I go through the installation of 39 minutes, the computer restarts to complete and it loops back and start the installation again. Why it does this and what I can do to move beyond this?

Go into the BIOS and make sure that you your hard drive is not set to off, and that is the first priority boot CD and your second HD.

Don't push when it restarts anything just to let him do what he does and report back if anything I'm sorry I have no idea.

PROBLEM REINSTALLING ACROBAT PRO XI and BRIDGE

I bought a new Macbook Pro. In the process of migration of files from my previous laptop age of six year, I made the mistake of uninstalling my Adobe CC applications without first disable each one. (I must add that I have CC on another computer at home. I know that the problem of three computers with CC apps, I try to have only two. My old laptop is removed.)

Troubleshooting call to reinstall, disable and uninstall again.

When I uninstalled Acrobat Pro XI, it has disappeared from my computer. However, trying to reinstall, Adobe Application Manager says acrobat's "up-to-date". I saw no way to reinstall. So, I copied the XI Acrobat Pro to my other computer and it drags on my old laptop, hoping she work long enough to reinstall and turn off. PDF opens briefly, but I get an error 'Problem of Configuration, error 1', and then it closes.

Regarding the bridge, the said Application Manager is up-to-date, but trying to reinstall in order to turn off, I get an error that my (10.6.8) operating system on the old laptop is too old to reinstall bridge CC.

Can you help me to solve these two problems, so that I can get with the help of my applications Adobe CC on my new computer laptop?

    Thank you in advance,

    David Alcorn

    [info removed - kglad]

with a subscription to cc you are allowed installation on an unlimited number of computers.

However, you can only sign on, at most, two computers at the time and you must be logged in opening programs cc.  already open programs seem to work perfectly, even on a 3rd computer but I have not tested who carefully and I rarely do it (by mistake).

and you do not enable the programs of cc.  you connect.

you disable programs cc.  you disconnect.

and xi acrobat could come from your subscription of cc, but that is not the last acrobat and makes me wonder if you have a perpetual license, cc subscription or both.

If so, I do not reinstall BT module will help. What you need to do is in fact secesfull coupling between phone and your BT phone. If the two devices are connected successfully, you can send and receive files without any problem. I do the same with my Motorola cellphone and Satellite P300 laptop.

  • Many problems with XP Professional

I have a combination of multiple problems. I have an older desktop computer that has Windows XP Professional 2002 Service Pack 2. I try to get a USB wireless network card installed on it and it gives me an error and says I need hot KB893357 difficulty installed. After talking to Support technical I find that I also need Service Pack 3 installed as well. When you try to update the computer with Windows Update I got 68 updates that need done and it continues to have an error when downloading. None of these updates will be downloaded. What should I do to get this thing going? Wipe and start over? Can I to update to Windows 7 or 8? I would like to help!

You must be at Service Pack 3 level before you can use Windows updates.

He had suffered from corruption of files more and more serious, until now, when I start it up I can't start most programs, even if all the files are present on the C drive. By example, if I try to start IE 8 I get a window asking what program I want to open the program with. I was able to copy all my data on a drive portable and ready to reinstall XP. When I place the CD in the drive, I get the same window asking what program I want to open the installer with. I tried to boot into safe mode and last good known Configuration. Also tried to reformat the drive, but I get a message saying that it cannot be formatted because a utility to access training. Any suggestions?
