Problem steps Recorder error - you have not permissions to system files needed to create the specified output file.

I am trying to use the PSR as a domain user, but get the following error message when you try to save my record:

"You don't have permissions of system files needed to create the specified output file.
If I run the present when logged in as a domain administrator, I can record without problem.  But when logged in as a domain user, I get the error.  I tried "Run as Administrator" as well as "Run as different user", enter the domain administrator credentials, but still get the error.
Everyone knows about this problem?

Hello Giblits,

Because the computer is connected to a domain, it would be better on the TechNet forum. I suggest you post your question on the following link to get the exact resolution.

I have problems with my mouse and have not been able to find a solution to the research on various forums. Here are the symptoms:

    1. you must click several times to get the menus to open. Sometimes they are not just and sometimes they open with a single click flash but do not stick until I clicked several times.

2 several times the menu drop down and seem to become transparent (not in looks) because when I click on something on the menu, he actually selects everything that is behind the menu drop down. For example, if I'm in powerpoint and you select an item in edit mode, it might work and here again he can just select the slideview behind the menu and expand. Or well, if I'm on a Web site, such as Facebook, and I chose to close the session, rather than enable the disconnection of the key, he chooses some ad is behind the part of the menu and redirects the page of this Web site.

    3. when I try to select a Word, words or sections as paragraphs, it performs several different things: continually select as soon as I let go of the mouse button, the jumps of color selection in another part of the document, or deselects the part of the text before I even let go of the mouse button.

    Here is what I tried:

    1. I had originally a usb wireless mouse. I changed the batteries and then got a new. Now I use a wired mouse.

  • Error "You have not a plug-in compatible digital publication." after the installation of 1.5

Several users have reported this error message after installing version 1.5 Folio producer toolset:

"You don't have a compatible Digital Publishing plug-ins. Click here to download the Folio producer tools ".

This error pops up for some users, which I am part , even if they have the last Folio Builder and the latest InDesign Digital Publishing plugin Panel. Adobe is actively studying this and hope to have a resolution available soon. If you encounter this problem, please post here so that we can ensure you get help and work with you if necessary to collect more information.

    Sincerely,

We had the same problem, but I think I found the solution

Try to find this file and delete it:

    /Users//Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign Version 7.0 /PlugInConfig.txt

If you are using version CS5.5 ID, maybe you need to look in the other file (Version 7.5?) - we use ID CS5.

Please, let me know, if this helps - we solved our problem after removal of this file.

P.S. - Oh, you're Emplyee Adobe. If this can help, it will make the whole situation even funnier for me.

  • I have CS4 and it just started giving me an error - you have not needed to save access privileges?

How can I get around this? I can save file on a second drive and return it but not save on the main drive. Problem started in the middle of a project.

This happens when permissions change to read only on your hard drive. However, it is strange that it would happen in the middle of a project. If this happens again, check permissions and make sure that it is set to read and write.

Always get the error "You have not a plug-in compatible digital publication.".

    Hi Bob,

    Thamks for the tips!

    I solved it now.

The DPS in Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5\Plug-Ins\Graphics plugin installed files were in another Adobe InDesign Plug-ins folder.

So I moved in the plug-in folder where Adobe InDesign CS5 is installed and it worked.

  • 3 of the 6 slides quiz show "you have not answered this question completely" in the first entry of slide

I'm working on a project in Captivate 5. I have distributed 6 slides of question about the whole project. Q1 - 3 are working very well, at the entrance to the Q4 - 6 slide, the learner receives the message "you have not answered this question completely" even if it's the first time, they enter the page. They get stuck, just have a 'return' to them button returns to the previous page, in the output of the previous page, they receive the same message again. No retry option. The only way forward is to use the button next to the playback bar.

The parameters of my 6 questions are the same (classified, 3 attempts, continue on the success and the last attempt).

I figured it was because I had duplicated the question slides in order not to have to do all the formatting again (would be curious to know: I can do it without problem?) - but it seems that this was not the reason. I created 2 of 3 does not q from scratch and still have the same question.

Then, I thought it's because by clicking on an icon on the previous page, they can move to page Q without listening to the entire slide - that solved the problem in preview, but after publication it came again.

I'm totally lost here - would appreciate help from experts!

    Thank you

    Anja

This "you have not answered this question" message normally appears only once the user has tried the test at least once and review Quiz button has been clicked on the Quiz results page.

However, it may also appear if Captivate think user jumped out of the reach of quiz, then jumped into the new.  At that time, Captivate blocks all questions and show this message for any question unanswered.

So there must be something on your project, you have not told us until now.  Where's the Quiz results for this project page?  AFTER all the questions quiz is 6 located?  Is your project using maybe ramification that could Captivate think that you skipped range outdoor quiz?

  • Three computers networked fine then suddenly the error message «...» Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. "

I had a network that worked very well with three 2 computers running Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home Edition 1. Suddenly, the network has just stopped allowing certain communications giving the above error message (I have another thread address with XP to Vista computers). The main computer with XP Pro, I'll call A, the second computer with XP Pro, I'll call B and third with XP Home will be C. All computers can share files and printers then without any changes to the system that occurred the following:

A can access the documents and printers on B and C

B may NOT have access to documents or printers on one, but access to documents and printers on C

C cannot have access to the documents on one, but CAN access A printer and CAN access the documents and printers on B

When access is denied error message is displayed:
"\\A\My documents is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. "(\\A\ being the computer that I am trying to access)

As I said access from all computers on this network was working fine a week ago and there has been absolutely no changes made to the network. I checked the following

    1. workgroup name on all computers are the same
    2. file and printer sharing are enabled for all computers.
    3. all computers may been from each computers just denied in some cases.

The firewall that runs on all three machines is AVG and there were no changes to the one last week, but I checked that sharing is allowed.

I even tried to run the Configuration Wizard from the network on all computers to see if it works, but the same exact problems occur after doing this.

I met this problem now THREE times. I can't believe that I'm the only one who has this problem and I can't believe that there isn't a solution for it. None of the Microsoft documentation has even a hint of a solution for this specific problem.

I need a solution that closes completely the network at my church, and they cannot afford to buy printers and others for each of their computers.

This error message is misleading. See article Knowledge Base Microsoft Antivirus software may Cause Event ID 2011 for a likely solution, specifying a value of IRPStackSize 15 on A computer.

Get an error (you do not have sufficient permissions to perform this task) when adding a header and a footer. Any help?

    Hey veeran14642260,

    Us would certainly help.

Could if it please let you me know what software used to create the PDF file. What is the software Acrobat Live Cycle Designer or something else?

If you have created the file using Live Cycle, then it would be possible that you do not have permission to add the header/footer in the file.

In addition, check under "file > properties > Security" and check if there is no security on the PDF file.

    Let me know.

    Kind regards

Original title: cannot add homegroup printer

Cannot add printer homegroup.  I tried everything I can think of without success.  I have laptop which is part of my home group who can't create a link to a printer attached to another computer.  The search for the printer does nothing.  When I try to add manually, when I click on the computer that hosts the printer, I get the following:

"[Computer SCIENCE] is not available.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.  The specified network provider name is invalid.

The problem seems to exist in the computer on which I am trying to add the printer, not the host, as I was able to add another computer to the host without problem.
    Help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for the quick response.

I suggest to change firewall security settings, or disable the security software on the system and try to access the location.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
