Problem TOSHIBA SD-1850SA

I bought SD-1850SA DVD video/CD/VCD PLAYER about 6 years and I didn't use it last I t, ed it whan I bought 2 days ago, I bought a system good super Woofer and a few new music CD, when I load a new CD it gives me "DISC ERROR" Itested several types of DVD and CD all gives me a "DISK ERROR".
I hear a noise when I load the CD, I think it's a problem with the engine that spins the CD, but I had read an article about a code that can be entered on the DVD but I can't find my manual book or on the DVD

means, I need some help there,

:(il me fait aller triste comme acheté quelque chose et ne pas l'utiliser à a dit elle avait est tombé en panne:()

Error message seems to be very clear that it is the drive itself. Maybe too much sitting and doing nothing.
You should see if you can get it fixed if it is cheap enough. Maybe it's cheaper to by a new these days.

    (2) the recorder fails to record programs when the recorder is in standby mode. (program than a single clock set - if theres no program conflicts etc.).

Ive reformat the drive, updated the software (from download Toshiba) and I did a reset of box of manufacturing and the problems are still there.

Any ideas on how to fix cela - or will it be a case of back to Toshiba warranty?

  • Laptop computer connection problems Toshiba for HP Officejet Pro 8610

Hi, I just unpacked my new HP Officejet Pro 8610 and after close to two hours still unable to connect it with my laptop.  I have a Toshiba Satellite S55 A5257 8.1 Windows running.  The printer shows that it is connected to the correct network (with no other network name of the network).  I tried setting up with the normal settings, then with firewall disabled, then with the firewall and antivirus, stop and went through all the suggestions on the software to solve problems of installation failure that has been suggested to install.  Have also tried to turn the router off and on again and also turn off the laptop and turn it on again.  Also the printer is off and turned it back.

I'd be more than happy to try other suggestions that anyone could have.

Update: a little while later, I have at least been able to print using a usb cable, but is not always wireless.

    Hi Jimbo867,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that your HP Officejet pro 8610 does not connect to your Windows 8.1 with a Wi - Fi connection. I'm happy to help you with this problem of connection!

    Please see the following guides:

    1. "Can't find the printer" message appears on the computer during a Network Installation.
    2. The printer keeps Wi-Fi connection.

I hope this solves your problem and I thank you for posting!

  • WIFI problem, Toshiba Satellite A665 internet connection. Lately when I try to connect to the internet, for the first minute or so it says "no internet connection".

    Hi all

I had problems with my Toshiba Satellite A665 to internet connection. Lately when I try to connect to the internet, for the first minute or so it says 'No internet connection' (or something similar). Basically, he has the yellow warning triangle. Sometimes I can open the browser and search normally, but other times - and this happens more often it won't let me use my browser. When I have not fix the problem, he said that the DNS server is not responding. The problem is this same error happens all. unique. time. and the other computers in the House connect to the internet just fine. I called TWC and what I get on their part, it is "there no reported outages in your area. Useful, right? Tends to be gnawed by the use of Netflix and Hulu Plus, but this has never kept internet bandwidth to work in the past. What is going on? I'm so tired of having to go all the way down the stairs to reset the router every hour (on a good day) to get the computer to connect to the internet.
I contacted Toshiba and they say that all the drivers on your computer are up to date and nothing is broken. I have also not downloaded or installed anything on my computer.

If the reset of the router fixes the problem you should probably watch that as the culprit. Check the software/firmware for the router and see if you can borrow to someone router to test.

    I hope this helps.

You have to collect the drivers with your own hands!

Here you will find a nice display:

  • Pages and Numbers crash when print drivers Toshiba

In my office, I have a black and White Copier 857 of Toshiba e-studio and a Toshiba 4555C color copier, who never gave me problems printing on the network from a PC or Mac before El Capitan. Since he joined some of the Mac (some MacBooks, some iMacs, liberation of the years from 2011 to 2015) to El Capitan (all versions up to and including 10.11.4), I met a strange behavior when you try to change printers in Pages or in number on all of these Macs (no problems with the PC, regardless of the version of Windows). The exact location is:

-Open the Pages or numbers and starts with an existing document or a new document

-Bring up the print dialog box

-Change the printer active 857 c 4555 or vice versa

-Pages/numbers instantly crashes with the following error report (I don't publish the complete stack trace unless someone finds it useful):

Crashed thread: 0 dispatch queue: com.apple.main - wire

    Exception type: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL)

    Exception codes: 0000000000000001 0 x, 0 x 0000000000000000

    Note the exception: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

    Request for clarification:

Crashing on the exception:-[NSMenuItem supportedPPDOptionKeys]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7ffa04cbe8d0

Note that this happens only (so far in my tests) in Pages, Numbers and curiously, Google Chrome (but only if you use the dialog box print system). It does not occur in Keynote, Safari, TextEdit, or all the productivity applications from Microsoft, nor when printing test pages from the printers and scanners preferences window. It also does not occur when moving from one of the problems Toshibas completely different printers (HPs, brothers, Epsons), or vice versa - only between the Toshibas. I tried:

    -Delete the printer preferences

-Configuration of the drivers of Toshiba to "pretend", that printers are different models

-With the help of Hello, PPI or LPR to connect

-Remove all equations in partial derivatives of Toshiba and SDPP/library and re - install the drivers from scratch

    -New and old drivers Toshiba

-Ensure, Pages and Numbers are the latest versions: 5.6.1 (2562) and 3.6.1 (2566) respectively

    -Various updates of El Capitan

    -New installation of El Capitan

No luck. Same behavior, no matter what machine or El Capitan version I try on. Unfortunately, I don't have other models Toshiba to test. I would be recognizing all thought - I understand that the answer could end up being 'complain to Toshiba of their pilots', but I thought it was worth a try here first. Thank you!

I would say that you are looking for in a bug report. A all Pages, a copy of the numbers.

In each, open the app, go to the menu of the application (Pages or numbers) and choose to produce (application name) return. Use the bug report category and give a detailed description of how to reproduce the results you've met. Repeat for other affected applications.

    Kind regards

  • Toshiba Upgrade Assistant fail on Satellite L755

    Hello everyone

I want to upgrade to Windows 8 Windows 7 install Toshiba Upgrade Assistant and I get an error always the same, that is: "error reading INI file target."

So I can't continue with this level of testing Upgrade Wizard, I've seen on this forum that some friends have the same problem, Toshiba will solve?
I look forward to your responses to this error, and please, I am a beginner and do not know what the target INI file.

    Thanks and greetings

    Hello

What Satellite L755 exactly do you have and where you downloaded the Toshiba win 8 Upgrade Assistant?

  • Satellite P850-12 - Toshiba Service Station error

I have a portable Satellite P850-12 which is 2 months old. There has never been a fast computer, and now gas station gives me the error:
    Unhandled exception program!
    Source: Toshiba ServiceStation
Message: The external component has thrown an exception.
    Target: Void Initialize Component()
    Inner exception: no

(WHY are not copyable error messages so you don't have to type it all by going back to the error message?)

Anyway, read on the forums, someone said to go on the site of Toshiba, redownload, uninstall, and then reinstall it from the download, which I did - still does not work.

It tries to start when the laptop and it hangs for a long time before giving the error message. Dag that disappeared from Windows made an another update a few days ago that I had to uninstall, because he kept the computer to boot at all, so I think it's what pulled the TSS.

Any ideas on how to make it work again and leave me alone? Thank you.

    PAM

It is well known that the original recovery image contains many specific Toshiba Toshiba and utility tools and also some additional applications and almost all of them starts with Windows. That is the reason why almost every new notebook Toshiba starts slowly.

It can be changed. You must change the start option and disable some unnecessary services to startup with Windows. That s not a big deal.

Return to your main problem: Toshiba Service Station. This software starts with Windows and inform you of software updates. To be honest, it is the first app that I removed from my system.
In any case, what you can do is to try to reinstall. You have already done, but next time, after withdrawal of test system for clean using CCleaner registry entries.

If there is the only way to get it working again is to reinstall the OS using HARD drive recovery option.
In the end, I write again: it removes the system and the problem is solved. You don t he need at all.

  • Toshiba linux support

    Hi all!
I plan use Xen with OpenSuSE, custom W2K3 and Vista.
It should be portable developer primer. Configuring satisfiable in Satellite P100 (200) with T7xxx proc series.
But what series have the best support on linux (or less :() problem Toshiba guy (thous who work closely with her) point of view?
Pls hlp make me a choice.

    Hello

I think it s ok when you take a P100/P200 because the debian system (for example) has really good support for generic hardware. Unfortunately the toshiba doesn't support linux (neither officially nor unofficially) since they don't ship their platforms with linux.
I think we have to wait a while because they will ship some models with linux and provide official support.

So far, we are ourselves. I have a Tecra 9100 with ubuntu "feisty fawn" and it works fine, so I intend to put an OS based on debian on my A100 to see how it works.

The best method would be to install the system, and then compile the kernel on your needs, so most of the material can be perfectly configured on this path.

Given that the material is OK and most of the works of things without problems, I would choose a P200...

  • Need help to install Win7 on Satellite CL10-b-103

    Good afternoon mate,

I come to you because I gave this mini laptop, Toshiba CL10-b-103, who doesn't have a DVD drive and only 32 GB HDD (which there are only 21 free for the issue of the hidden restore and partition)

My intention is to install a win7 sp1 to make it lighter and have more space on the HARD drive.

    And I'm going crazy,

The bios is quite simple, you can turn off only an option that says 'safe start' (which in some forum in English is advised to try to defuse what I do).

And change the boot priority (leaving only USB and HDD / SDD). Nothing comes of the CSM or something, who has also read by some forum also had to turn it off.

I'm first, I put usb firstly you have to shoot the laptop and there is no way to read a usb win7.

I do an install of win7 usb bootable with the support of the EFI (apparently these new EFI this notebook, according to lei, you must prepare them in a special way) as a result of this blog:

    http: //biglimesoftwa...dows-7-u-8.html

And no, do not read! There is no way that between usb!

I also did a USB bootable, following another forum, with an application called Rufus, but nothing not even read.

How the companions? I'm doing something wrong?

Is it possible that the laptop is, is totally gelding to format and install another OS?

See if you can help me, I'm desperate...

Thanks in advance and greetings from Spain,

    Update:

I used the WinSetupFromUSB and make it bootable USB with this utility, I managed to read the USB, but all of a sudden comes this screen:

Exactly the same problem (Toshiba CL10-b-103 too), but I went deeper in the research and found that the BIOS version of this laptop does not support UEFI/CMS. Updated my BIOS to the latest version (which is for the moment, the 5.00 08/07/15 - WIN) but still does not work. I was already angry with their fu * skate that brings me to kill the process "pad experience" every time you start.

I would like to install ubuntu, but nothing works, even with a USB cable or directly on the C drive (note that I ruined my USB while flashing it, but in any case it was my fault). Any advice, tips?

In the case where someone would say "boot option is in the Advanced tab' this isn't for me, regarding the kikeastur. Sorry for digging it up with this topic, but I do not see why I would create a new that I have exactly the same problem.

    Thanks in advance

  • C50-A-1HF satellite will turn off by itself after 2 seconds

    Hello

the laptop turns off by itself after 2 seconds when I turn it on. This happens if I shutted down or choosed hibernate before (Win8.1).

This means hibernation is not at all useable.

The next time I turn it on it works quite normal! Sleep mode works as well. Standby mode it is ready for use after open them both as a repetitive. Fascinating!

I looked on all the settings of the BIOS, but I found nothing what could be the reason for this behavior.

Perhaps there is a correlation with another strange behavior. The battery will not be charged over 80%. I do not use the green mode. I have to turn off the laptop and remove the battery completely for a minute. After inserting and booting Win8.1 what it charges again at 100%.

The discharge time is approximately 3.5 hours. Otherwise, the battery is ok.

But after the next discharge up to 10% charge that up to 80% more.

These two effects are not normal. But I don't think (or better, I hope) that there is a material defect.

Is there a chance does not post the laptop to a repair service?

    Best regards

    Onurbi

Hey man it are so strange problems and it's not easy to say what to do. All you can do is to install the original recovery image and test with the settings once more, of course without changing anything or install updates or additional applications.

If possible to do this and test it for a while.
    > Is there a chance does not post the laptop to a repair service?
As you probably know your possibilities to do something about this are very limited and if there is permanent problem I think you should contact the closest service Toshiba and clarify all of this.
You have the new laptop model and it should work properly. If you are not happy and there are service problems Toshiba should take are about it and help you.

  • How can I set up on my Satellite L850-138 HyperMemory?

Hi, my L850-138 has a big problem: Toshiba decided to set up a 7670 wonderful with a single sh * tty GB DDR3 VIDEO memory. This makes 7670 m having only a more or less 26 Gbps bandwidth, when there usually needs around 50 GB/s bandwidth provided by 2 GB of DDR3 memory or 1 GB memory GDDR5. Basically all other brands put together one of the following options, but the Toshiba is "wonderful."

That's it: I have to but a second 4 GB DDR3 1333 module to offer 3 GB of RAM as VRAM for the graphics card, but I don't know how I can configure HyperMemory.

Can you explain to me how put perm than 3 GB of RAM as VRAM with HyperMemory?

On this forum, you will find number of threads with the same question.
Answer is: hyper memory can be controlled manually by the owner of the laptop. The graphics card driver affects the part of the RAM memory graph automatically, which means that its impossible to change this value manually.

What is the status of the STRANGE in Device Manager?
Are there any yellow exclamation marks?

I recommend you remove/clear the STRANGE since the Device Manager.
Then start the registry and delete the upper and lower registry key filters:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

After that, restart the device. Windows should recognize the STRANGE again.

    Regarding the driver chipset;
The A10 - 1GW supports the Chipset mobile Intel GM45 Express.
    http://www.Intel.com/products/Notebook/chipsets/GM45/GM45-overview.htm

If you use the driver from the Intel page, then you should try installing the chipset in Device Manager. This allows to force Windows choose the driver Intel
