  I just changed my engine to use analog feedback instead of encoder feedback, but now he does not kill the engine when the switch is activated. I use a PXI7358 with a servo, and a PXI6363 and PXI6221 motor. The PXI6221 reads raw gauges of a force sensor measures 6 axes, mounted on the endpoint of my linear actuator (powered by the servo motor). LabVIEW makes a calculation on the tensions of strain gauges and exits through the PXI6363 a single voltage that is proportional to the force in one of the axes.   Previously, I had used an encoder for comments and whenever I came at the end of race before or back the engine would immediately cease. Now that I'm using analog feedback, the sails of the actuator throughout the limit switch and doesn't stop, even though I see the LED light up in MAX, which indicates that the limit switch is active.

  In a LabVIEW VI I can kill the engine when the limit switch becomes active, but I would like for it to transcend LabVIEW and arrive at the MAX instead. Sometimes, apparently, there is a slightly different zero voltage output by the 6363 and the actuator moves very slowly in a sense and if I'm not looking for it runs the risk of crashing on the stop, because it is not honor the status of the limit switch.

  what you see is the expected behavior. The good news is, you can change it, but let me explain first of all, what is happening here:

  When an axis hits a limit switch, the default operation is to put an end to the axis. This means that the current value of the feedback becomes the current set point. With feedback from encoder translates a full stop of the axis, which is typically the desired behavior. With analog feedback (g. e. force) this means that the axis is trying to keep the current value of the force, which does not necessarily mean, that the axis stops.

  The solution is to stop the axis with a kill command, which sets the DAC to zero and says the line out to disable to turn off the player. You can configure the axis to stop with a kill command whenever a limit switch is activated by using "Set u32.flx" (switch Stop Type = attribute, value = 2).

• Compaq Evo D5pM - problems using this model number, never find what he listed...

  Compaq Evo D5pM - (Pent4 - 1.7 GHz) problems using this model looking for parts or information number.  Serial number has not been useful.

  Someone said "aka Compaq D510." Trying to buy memory model (found on the case) my number wasn't so I tried to use D510 (it was listed). Apparently not the same computer / mine use 168 pins sticks and D - 510 came 188 pins. I did my 'upgrade' purchase by check the number of pins and using the already installed type.

  My computer is a vertical minitower - looks like D - 510-, but like I said the components are different.

  I was wondering if anyone knows a model Compaq Evo w / same components (P4 1.7 GHz; 168 pin memory) I could use for research purposes. The smallest horizontal model Evo often uses different (smaller) maps, etc..

  Tried the Ctrl-Alt-S keyboard shortcut to bring up the model number (etc.), but my keyboard shortcuts do not work on this computer. Run a search for edge came up with nothing to tune.

  I tried HP support and drivers.  With the help of several model numbers and found that absolutely nothing for HP Compaq or "Compaq" is in the list.

  It is a great 3rd computer that I've updated w / spare parts, use it remotely, especially for music. Only problem was the dark model number. If anyone has something useful to add would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance...

  PS I'm currently trying to identify MB for what it's worth, but a number of alternative model that works would be great.

• unknown problem using WMP 12 no sound when played the song in the folder but has sound when he played in the player

  I have a weird problem using WMP (Windows Media Player v12).  When I double-click a song of in my library, the trail seems to play, but didn't have all the sounds.

  However, if I hover over the same path and then click Preview, the pop-up, the track plays with sound.

  When the track (s) do not play, all indications show the way to correctly play through of progress ' Now Playing ' screen, but no sound.

  In the past, when I clicked on any MP3 file, he would play using WMP.  Now, when I click on an MP3 file, it brings just "Now Playing" and looks LIKE he plays, but no sound.

  I have looked & looked for clues as to why it may be of WMP, but I can't understand the problem.  I also searched the Web for 'day' drivers in the Win System Manager, but Win says that pilots are "up to date".

  I have rebuilt the DB Library (twice) by removing the DB files in from WMP to a procedure in a WMP support forum. I also went to check the audio device in Device Mgr Win (mine is one on one). Everything seemed ok.  I also changed the devices to "Win by default" to what I think my onboard audio device is called.  I thought that that can do, but it's not.

  I was struggling with this since the day of the year.  Please help me solve this problem!

  Another approach, perhaps a little more elegant (?). Create a collection that includes images for the slideshow. Include the background image in the collection. Drag the background image in the Panel to designate. Then, remove this image from the collection and create the slide show. I just tried and it works, too.

• Problems using preset animations of the bridge

  Use the CC range and recently had a new problem using the animation preset from Adobe Bridge. I am in After Effects as usual and then go to the animation drop-down menu, click on Browse recent presets to open the bridge, and then as a use normal bridge to select the preset I want. Double click it while emphasizing my piece selected in AE, and AE then says this:

  Someone at - he had problems using the URL search engine friendly and css? I have a page which seems fine when I go to the page with the following url: http://localhost/demo/index.cfm. However if I change the url to http://localhost/demo/index.cfm/about-our-company the page behaves as if the css style sheet is not found. I'm totally clueless as to what could be the cause.   Must have been some kind of problem with cache bug or something. I put all css links and all links to the absolute image links ( http://localhost/demo/styles/style.css). After coming back to it starts to work. don't understand, but the url can be a/search-engine-friendly-parameter after it and the page appears correctly.

  I have a small problem using AS function. The problem is that I use AS a function in the WHERE clause

  Replace function to replace the single quote with an empty space at the front end. SO it will replace the character, and you don't have to worry.

• Analog input problems using PXI-6232

  I tried to solve this problem for a while now without a bit of luck. Solution suggestions are welcome.

  I use a PXI-6232 with LabView 8.5.1 to accept signals analog several of my sensors. Based on the signals as a PWM signal is generated and the output using PXI-6713.

  Some of the analog input signals have spikes in them, which occur at all times during the tests. I watched the same signals on an oscilloscope - without crampons. I change my hardware configuration, and the spikes still occur in the same places. It seems that the program makes some resets resulting in measurement errors.

  I have attached the VI and a JPEG of measured inputs.

  I was first confused of your time scale but it seems that these spices occur every 20ms (not s) what to a line 50 Hz noise due to switching power converters (or a diode without compensation bridges )

  Another clue was the measure of the scope. While using the application scope, you opened a groundloop so the spikes because of the dI/DT through the groundloop are another way to get around.

  So I'm pretty sure this isn't data acquisition (in this case) this is your configuration.

  Provide a cleaning (low R AND L low) path of power (keep them close and twist slightly if possible), add a filter to down the dI/dt, identify the ground loops.  (Use your scope with a little as a sensor at the entrance to reel and catch magnetic fields can open eyes)

  THEN to clean the last ears (on the acquisition of data) to get the last ppm use selfs
