Problem Vista Flash Cards on Satellite A200 - 18 M - R6025 run-time error

I recently installed the latest version of the BIOS, and after installation, I see this message eveytime my laptop starts:

"Runtime error!"
Program: C:\Program files\TOSHIBA\FlashCards\TCrdMain.exe
R6025-pure virtual function call"

Can someone tell me what to do?

Hello

Have you installed the right BIOS for the OS right?
You must know that Vista uses a different BIOS as the Windows XP!

In any case, have you tried to reinstall the Toshiba Flash Card Utility?
Please do.

First, you must reinstall the Toshiba common Modules, then the Flash card utility. The two programs are in the Toshiba value added package.

Good bye

    Hello

I'm not very well why the executable Run TCrdMain.exe error, but it is certainly up to Toshiba FlashCard software and the FlashCard belongs to the package Toshiba Vista added value m.

Kody is good. Reinstall the VAP and check if this helps solve this problem.

    With regard to the question of the other;
You are right; the notebooks are preinstalled with many different applications. But it is necessary because the laptop supports many different features.
However, if you want to install XP OS on the X 200 PSPB9E series, you will need drivers Toshiba XP and all need Toshiba XP drivers are available on the European driver Toshiba page

You must install all the drivers available if you want to use all the features of the laptop.

  • Satellite A200: PXE - E61 and BOOTMGR lack error appears

    Hi people,

Little problem here, I tried installing WXP vista was on my Satellite A200-1AI and it wouldn't let me. No matter how I put the bios, vista booted from the HARD drive and I couldn't boot from the boot of Windows XP Home edition cd.

    Then.

I formatted the drive with another PC. Now when the HARD drive is in my book and I am trying to boot from the cd of Windows XP Home edition, I get the following msg:

"For Realtek RTL8100E/8101E Fast Ethernet Network Adapter v1.02 (060510).
PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable of
PXE - M0F: Existing PXE ROM.

    BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart»

Any ideas? Any suggestions would be really useful.

    Thanks for your time,

    Dave.

    Hello

You have formatted the HARD drive in another computer and the boot manager has been destroyed.
"There is no operating system on the HARD drive and, therefore, the error message: BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart" appears

The second message PXE - M0F: existing ROM PXE said that the laptop tries to start form the LAN, but it s not able to find an OS using the connection to the local network.

Why all this error messages is displayed?
Well, I think that the CD/DVD drive cannot read the CD Windows XP inserted, and therefore in the switches to LAN.

Notes; You can boot from the disc by pressing the C key immediately after that laptop startup or you press the F12 key to get the boot menu. Then, you could choose the STRANGE as a source of start-up.

If you will not be able to boot from your Windows XP CD, I assumed that the CD is down or the CD/DVD drive can not handle this CD.

  • Question about changing from Vista to XP on Satellite A200

    Hello

5 months ago, I bought a laptop Satellite A200 - 1 M 5, but I face some strange and annoying inconsistencies such as blue screen after startup, inconsistencies with several programs or devices, unique discoveries registry keys, problem with microsoft register server, Mp telemetry and other inexplicable things that make you angry. In addition, Vista are so heavy for 'only' 1024 MB of memory.

For all the foregoing, I thought strongly to change my operating system from Vista to XP clearer and more coherent. However, I have no idea if the machine will cooperate very well with XP. Nothing will work properly? Incompatibility? Someone told me that, perhaps, the case of Toshiba flash cards will not work. But, if so, how can I manipulate for example brightness? Combination of FN will work?

Thanks in advance for the help

I think that your machine should work well with Windows XP Home edition. Many people use Windows XP Home edition on the mobile phones of Satellite or Equium A200 new and different. Before you start to do the BIOS update to the version of Windows XP designed home. It must be 5. XX. Check it out!

For the installation of WXP use CD Windows XP SP2 home edition installations. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can find on Toshiba page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com for assistance

BTW: before you start checking some threads here about installation of WXP A200 laptop. You can find a lot of useful things.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Reformat Vista to XP on Satellite A200-ST2043

My brother just bought a Toshiba Satellite A200-ST2043. It came with Vista on it, and I had just planned to reformat with Windows XP Pro. I tried for a few days now and have not been able to make it work. I think it's mainly because of these Intel Matrix Storage Manager drivers, that I'm not able to install correctly, or not able to get the right drivers for Windows XP.

That's what I've lived so far:

    I downloaded the 32-bit Intel Matrix Storage Manager to the site Disk Configuration utility http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=210 1 & OSFullName = Windows * + XP + Professional & lang = eng & strOSs = 44 & submit = Go % 21

    found in this thread

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=25749

I ran that he asks for a floppy disk, so I glued one to and she made the files on this disk, when it did work the first time I tried several times with different players to make sure that wasn't the problem.

I used the floppy when it asks me to press F6 to install third-party drivers as I have many times before. (I used SATA drives many times in the past on a few laptops and desktop computers that apparently does not use Intel Matrix Manager Sotrage.) "So I don't know how to proceed with the installation of Windows).

Thus, when the installer asks me to press on the of ' to specify a driver I do and select the one that suits. Then I see then the 2 partitions on the HARD disk. 1.5 GB and 73 ~ GB. I assumed that the 1.5 gigabytes is for purposes of recovery. So I deleted the partition of 70 GB and most later discovered this isn't what I need to do in this case. So, which way lead to a dead end.

So since I wiped the HARD drive I used the recovery cd that came with his computer to retrieve and install Vista all return to the out-of-the-box and all factory settings.

Then I downloaded the "RAID/AHCI Software - Intel® Matrix Storage Manager (5604KB)" of the link earlier.

I read this thread that mentions two different utilities for different chipsets. http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26040 I discovered that I had 965 m, so I got the version 7.6.0.1011 as he say to get.

I installed through vista and then took the drivers out of the folder as it installed because this thread mentioned someone do that.

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=25441

    dbunt says:

    'Hi,

    As I was this:

    1. in the preloaded vista OS, I went in the TOSAPINS folder, then in the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager-V7.0.0.1020\Inf setup' folder, copied the entire contents of the folder to the root of a floppy

    2. attach a floppy drive usb on my m9 with the above mentioned disc and start the laptop on a xp cd while pressing f6 when you are prompted to load the scsi/raid additionl drivers

    3. after the initial Setup, the usual message «you have chosen to configure a SCSI card...» "appeared, so I pressed"s"to specify an additional device

    4. the only device that is displayed is the right one for the m9 sata controller - there should be the following: Intel(r) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH8M-E/M)

    5. Once selected, the xp installation continued and couldn't find the hard drive no problem at all.

    Hope this helps,

    Dave ".

I could not find a file TOSAPINS, but I found the Intel drivers in my program files. Those I've used and still does not work.

So I restart the installation process and make F6, then S, select the driver blah blah blah, then simply select the partition of 70 concert without wiping, a Vista is currently after recovery. I tried to install XP on Vista installation, in the C:\WINDOWS without deleting Vista because I thought that Vista was here Intel Matrix thing would still be there. That did not work and ended up having me to redo recovery.

After recovering, I restarts the installation process and make F6, then S, select the driver blah blah blah, then simply select the partition of 70 concert without wiping, a Vista is currently on after the restoration. I tried to install XP in a C:\WXP folder without deleting Vista because I thought that because Vista was doing there thing Intel Matrix would be still there. That did not work...

So in this thread, once again:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26040

I saw that in the end, he mentions nlite, I had no idea of what it was. I discovered and tried to install the drivers in nlite and burned the iso and that no longer works.

So in conclusion I did nothing to work right and found this thread where adam0007 talks about his work at last:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=91564𖖬

I couldn't understand how the people on these message forums so I did not contact him.

If that didn't make any sense please ask me reitterate parties you've been confused on. My browser froze a couple of times and I lost the messages I was written and had to restart, then I found myself typing this in wordpad.

    -Nate

    Hi guys

Use the software called nLite. It is a freeware program.
With this tool, you can create your own Windows XP CD and could include all service packs, drivers, and Storage Manager Intel, etc. for this new CD of XP!

Can boot from this CD and enjoy!

PS: anyone recommend first to search this forum for similar discussions because this topic has been discussed a lot of time here.

  • Driver Intel is originally Vista back slowly on Satellite A200 - 1 M 5

    Hello
I bought a new laptop Satellite A200 - 1 M 5 with Windows Vista, this is the first time that I use this operating system, and while I was exploring "Advanced Tools" on the performance Information; I got this waring 'Intel graphics driver in Kernel Mode causes Windows to relax slowly', if you may well want to ask whether someone met with such a message of warning and I would be very grateful if someone feeds back to this topic.

    Thanks in advance

    Hey Buddy,

I found a post in another forum and they say it s not that big a deal as it seems. Just do the following:

go to "http://downloadcenter.intel.com/" and download the latest driver for your graphics card (download the drivers for 945GM) and then the error message shouldn´t appears more.

Another suggestion is to upgrade your BIOS to the latest version available. You can get the BIOS from here:

  • Problems of Wi - Fi with Satellite A200-1N7

    Hello!

A few days ago I buy Satellite A200-1N7 (PSAE3E-03401VRU). It works well but the WiFi. I don't have any changes in the BIOS and the WiFi drivers.

The problem is - WiFi works well 1 to 5 hours, but after that the laptop computer WiFi adapter does not all WiFi networks in my area (its 3 networks WiFi here - I see from another laptop) and nothing does not change this situation, but will restart Windows Vista Home Premium (all updates on microsoft.com).

What is - the known problem or just my laptop?
    Thank you.

Look at the adapter power saving mode. It can be shutdowned by the system after a few times.

    I have another problem. I can't conntect Toshiba A200-1IW to WL-500W using 802.11n standard.

  • Problem of processor on the Satellite A200 - 14 d?

Hello, I have a Satellite A200 14 d and I installed Vista. Recently, I downloaded CPU - Z and had a look at the details of the processor. There is one annoying thing: falls the processor speed of 1800 Mhz to 700 Mhz, whenever it is not being used, even if in the BIOS it has the fixed value and the computer is plugged in and power management it is set to 100% too. Is this a problem?

    Why is this? Thank you.

First: no, this isn't a problem. I mean if you need preformance then the CPU will automatically until it s normal speed.

With regard to the 1800 - 700 Mhz: I think the chipset made by himself. Maybe it s a powersaving feature internal. Weird is that the CPU does not work on top speed even if it s on fixed speed cameras. Usually it's REALLY NO problem since the machine is at your service with the speed you require.

I think that it s more a subjective issue that is your point of view, which is certainly understandable because worried you´re. But I think you should live from your machine is not defective and works perfectly. (It would be another thing if the machine would crash constantly or if you have some bluescreens or another..)

I hope that it s now clearer for you. :)

  • Boot problem after upgrade RAM on Satellite A200 - 1 DR

    Hello

I have a laptop Satellite A200 - 1 DR (with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM) and it is 5 days old. I bought an another 1 GB of Corsair RAM (DDR2 PC5300 5-5-5-12 as the first). The problem is that with both submissions the laptop not boots or boot boxes when the quiet boot option is enabled in the BIOS but windows Vista refuse to go or to restore.
I also tested the memory only Corair on the first location of memory of the laptop, and it works perfectly (vista and memtest86).

So I tried only two submissions on the second slot of memory of the laptop, and the two do not work: quiet Boot option on vista cannot go and memtest86 freeze after 1 sec. When the quiet boot option is disabled, the bios memory test freeze to 256 MB (with 2 memories it freezes at 512 MB).

To me there seems to be a bug in the BIOS, you have any information on these bugs?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello

a man who is not a bug in the bios. Have you ever heard of compatibility problems between the memory modules? The strange thing is that the memory modules can have the same features should not work together when they are not compatible with each other.
You have two different manufacturers using different modules and pcb´s (printed circuit board).

So if you're going to tell me what manufacturer's stock module I'll tell you that they are not compatible because I really know that privateers work right and good when you install corsair two modules (or how I want to say. TWO MODULES OF THE SAME MANUFACTURER).

This is it and it s the same story in desktop computers. I have two desktop computers in my office at home and one of this for overclocking. I had a lot of modules in my machine, so I had a lot of problems at the time of the twinning of the two different modules. And that's the thing why I tell you this, because I really have knowledge about this thingys. :)

Just buy an another corsair modules and put your stock on ebay module. You will see how your machine will work. Or better, bring back the corsair, sell your stock on ebay module and buy a pair of the best modules from kingston, you can get since the modules have absolutely no problems with compatibility.

That's my opinion. And nothing to do with a few bugs of bios or something else...

  • Update graphics card on Satellite A200

Is it possible to change the graphics card on the Satellite A200 and if its possible how he and witch card to use?

I agree with the statement made by the above user.
The point is that the laptops card mother layout is completely different and the slots are not the same as on the PC desktop motherboards.
The GPU chip is mainly fixed and soldered on the motherboard and cannot be removed on simply average.

There are also a few other reasons for which the graphics card can not be updated but I n t want to write a full A4 page now.
You know. The point is; It s is not possible.

    Concerning

  • Can I upgrade the graphics card on Satellite A200?

    Hi friends,

I have a Satellite A200-13O with disk HARD 120 GB, Intel Centrino Duo 1.8 GHz, 1 GB ram and Intel 945GM chipset.

It's not even 6 months, it was a birthday gift for me of the 18th, I want 2 upgrade his graphics card. Is this possible?

    Can I overclock the system?

    Thank you

    Kelly

    Hello

Unfortunately, NO, since the graphics chip is welded (wired) on the motherboard. To play games, you can buy another machine with a better graphics card (Geforce 8700 M GT is very good).

Sorry mate, but theres no chance of getting the best performance from your machine about games.

  • Downgrade from Windows Vista to XP on Satellite A200-22I

    Hello

Maybe this topic has arised more than once, but someone can help me?
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A200 [22I with windows Vista, but I want to downgrade to XP.]

    How can I do?

    Thank you very much

    It's easy,

You'll need a genuine Windows XP CD, drivers and little time.

Next, you need to 'wake' drivers Windows XP AHCI the CD because otherwise the HARD drive would not be recognized during the installation of windows XP. Here´s a link to a very good education how to integrate these specific drivers for a Windows XP CD: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB85017Z0000R01.htm

I know it sounds complicated, but trust me, you´re doing so once and you know after all. ;)

I would also like to download the XP drivers for your machine at the following site: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU

Your model is a PSAE6E which means you need to find the drivers for a Satellite A200 (PSAE6) and download. Burn it to a CD to have available every time when you need it...

When you install the drivers please take care of the installation order how do I install the drivers; I can't tell you the entire order, but the most important drivers must be installed in the following order:

    -BIOS for XP (V5.60)<- i="" would="" do="" this="" before="" installing="">

Then after the installation of Windows XP:
    -chipset
    -Storage Manager
    -display driver
    -sound
    -lan driver
    -wlan driver

and then the other stuff that is for this model

That's all, if you have questions, just ask.

    Welcome them
