  • Problems when printing the surface scan

    Hi I just bought my 8600 printer a couple of days, and so far I really like it especially the wireless functions.

    I met a problem: when ever I copy a document or print from the glass (bed scanner), I have several black lines running along the page.  This only happens when I print or copy in black mode.  My dealer said bring it back and he's going to replace it with a new printer, but it's really a chore.  I went through the printhead of all 3-4 applications specific to no luck.  Any suggestions before I return for a new?  Thanks SC58

    After a little investigation and reading the other posts, I discovered that if I plugged directly into the wall and took the equation surge protector it took care of the problem completely.

  • Problems when printing with USB or wireless - offline message

    Hello world

    I use a HP ENVY 4500 with a laptop Acer Aspire laptop and a desktop computer HP Pavilion 500, both with an Intel i7 and Windows 8.1. Initially, I configured the printer to work with both PCs wireless. The wireless network is provided by the modem of my provider (Telenet), so it is not very strong I increased it with Devolo powerline adapters. Print is fine, only when I want to print more pages then 3 print job is stopped in the middle of page 4. I get a message that the printer could not print the document, and the page comes out half print. I connected my printer with a USB cable and configured to work with USB, but also wireless. But that Don t always works, today, I tried to print a document from Mozilla Firefox and it would not start. The printer can be used on both sides without choosing the connection?  Also I get the message that the printer is offline and cannot print the document, even if it's actually printing.

    When I open the doctor print & scanning everything seems to be ok wth the printer, no defects are detected. Wrong me?

  • InDesign problems when printing to Xerox 700i Digital Color Press running EFI Fiery

    Mac OS 10.9.3, up to date CC Adobe InDesign.

    Whenever I print to the Xerox by using Fiery features, then I can't save.  If I close the file and try to re - open, I said that another user changes the document.  If I reboot, then go in my folder and throw the idlk file which was not deleted when I closed, I can once again save changes etc, until I have print again.  So not agree...

    Today, I installed Indesign CC (2014).  Whenever I print an Indesign file using the Xerox with the Fiery features, the application prints and then crashes.  I was hoping that the new version would be better.  For me, it's WORSE!

    I've written nine books with InDesign.  They are each manual page of 500 +.  I tried to find help for a year and can't seem to find it.  I am close to tell my partners that we have to find a new solution.  I can't take the extreme to my productivity I took trying to work with this software.  Seems a shame, because I've lived several InDesign versions over the past 12 years.  Changes will be extremely painful, but I may just need to bite the bullet.

    It is not a solution, but the export in pdf and printing from Acrobat would be the alternative.

    I just tested an alternative solution. If you have Fiery productivity tools or the possibility of creating hot folders.

    Create a hot folder, set work and action properties of requirements - n - up, Simplex/Duplex, color/grey etc.

    Export ID directly in the folder.

  • Problem when printing the PDF file created by InDesign

    OK, here's the scenario.

    I have a flyer, created in InDesign. I drew a grey curve (in InDesign) that goes at the top of each page.

    I import a transparent logo in PSD format and place it on top of the grey curve.

    In InDesign, and when I PDF looks good (at any zoom level).

    However, when I print, there is a slight outline around the logo transparent and it has a slightly different shade of gray in the background (it is different from the curve).

    Does anyone know why this might be?  I also tried to import the logo with the same gray background as in InDesign, but the same problem occurs.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Problem when opening documents.

    I open a document using the:

    F_ObjHandleT docId = F_ApiOpen (NomComposant, script, & returnp);

    I also set the following property to the script:

    IntT I = F_ApiGetPropIndex (& script, FS_MakeVisible);

    script. Val [i].propval.u.ival = False;

    I have an FDK client who sweeps all open books and for each of them I get all components.

    I open all the documents of every book (and later flows, etc.) in order to extract all the text elements of documents.

    Since I FS_MakeVisible to False the FDK client is transparent and the user is not aware.

    However, if certain documents are already open and then whenever I try to open these program changes to these (but do not open it yet) and the user loses his attention to the active document.

    Is there a way to check if a document by its name is already open or set as a few settings not switch to it after opening?

    The Session has a property for the FirstOpenDoc, and then each document has a property for the NextOpenDocInSession. Iterate over these for all open documents, to compare their names in the document you are about to open.

  • HP 8610: Power HP 8610 paper problems, especially when printing cheques

    I put a lot of thought and research in buying this printer a few months ago.  It seemed perfect at first, but I thought it was just a fluke periodic has turned into a regular problem.  I run two payroll every Thursday.  When printing cheques, the printer will grab two at a time, print out the correct area on the cheque at the top of the page and behind him leaving empty. Then, the last control is printed on white paper.  This throws the correct control numbers into my pay, and I also end up having a blank in the middle of my sequence number check.  I then have to reprint the two controls and change the check numbers in the payroll.  This happens in both States of payroll, almost everytime.  It does not appear that very often with regular, white paper.  The printer is still under warranty, but is there still a way to solve this kind of problem?  Thank you

    Hello @RhondaGS,

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

    I understand that you encounter feeding problems when printing from your Windows 7 computer to your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer paper. I would like to help you today with this problem to feed paper. However, before I was capable of precise guide you to a solution I have to clarify a few things.

    • (1) what size, type and weight is your paper check?
    • (2) what type of program are you printing cheques through?

    In the meantime, I get you some standard paper troubleshooting steps. This will include checking your paper path for dirt that may be responsible for paper feed issues and rolls. Please click here to access the path of paper troubleshooting steps. Once the support document opens please run through the two Solution, Solution threeand four. Once the diagnosis is complete, please test print to see if the problem is resolved. Just to note, always make sure that you load a media type in your bin at some point. You do not want to mix regular paper and paper check or other paper in the tray with paper, as this can cause paper 'slide' when being introduced into your machine and create jam or extra paper feeding problems.

    Please reply to this message with the result of the audit of the paper path and rolls. If the problem persists, be sure to include the answers to my two questions above in your response. I look forward to hear from you!

  • Firefox issue when printing PDF file from browser

    I have a problem when printing a PDF generated file from the provider of the Web site. What impression it will show anything on paper. It print empty document. This happen when I'm using the latest Firefox browser worm 29,0. If I try to print the same document using the previous version of Firefox (v28.0), it will print normally as usual instead of a blank page in worm 29,0.

    How to solve this problems. Can I change in the browser by setting to make it able print PDF file generated from Web site.

    Hello bondzerg, it's currently a bug in firefox's built-in pdf viewer that is studied by our developers. in the meantime, you can use a plugin third pdf as Adobe that you can enable in the firefox options > applications -scroll down and set the default action for the portable document (pdf) format.

  • folds of 7612-printer Officejet 11 x 17 Paper 3 "from the top when printing from my computer

    Name of product-Officejet 7612.  Operating system - OS X - Yosemite (10.10.1) for my desktop and OS X (10.6.8) for my laptop.  Problem when printing from a Mac machine in the Officejet 7612 on paper 11 x 17, it will always create a mountain/valley fold all the way across the top of the sheet about 3 "from the top.  The folds will be straight through.  Whether it's origami, it would be the perfect machine.

    When I print from the control panel of the printer (for example a printing of print quality, or something www.hpeprint.com like news or some other print it will print properly with no fold either.)

    It seems as if this in case of instructions from the computer to the printer to print, he gets in a hurry to get the document creating the folds, but when it comes to the machine itself, he picks up the paper gently.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi @Bodija ,

    I see that you have problems when printing on 11 x 17 size paper of Yosemite, but you can print the thin material and ePrint test page. I will definitely do my best to help you.

    When you print from the computer, you can print on letter-sized paper or are you just had the problem with the paper 11 x 17?
