problem with a block of memory in labview 2009

Hi all

I have "ERROR: MapLib:979 - LUT4 symbol" during the compilation process (lots of errors like this), and I discovered that the reason of my problem is block of MEMORY.

To be sure that the problem is in this block, I did a very simple project in LabView 2009 (on FPGA Target PCI5640R) only with the use of this block you can see in the photo, as well as in file test_memory block.lvproj attached link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u87f1oihelmm4dq/Jo_6-bICSf

I have a problem with compiling VI with this block, and I have so many errors like:

ERROR: MapLib:979 - LUT4 symbol
"window/Thatcher/n_00000036/nSCTL_00000013_00000014/n_000000A3/cOutLoc<0>1.
(output = window/Thatcher/res000001ed_wi<2>) is the input signal
"window/Thatcher/res0000020d_wo<1>" that will be deleted. See Section 5 of the
Map a report file to find out why the input signal will become conveyors.

or

ERROR: MapLib:978 - LUT4 symbol
"window/Thatcher/n_00000036/nSCTL_00000013_00000014/n_000000A3/cOutLoc<23>1.
(output = window/Thatcher/res000001ed_wi<25>) is an equation that uses
input pin I2, which no longer has a connected signal. Make sure that all the
the pins used in the equation for this LUT are signals that are not cut
(see Section 5 of the report file map for details on which signals were
adjusted).

Entire report, you can see in the file report.txt on the attached link.

I would appreciate if someone could take a look at my problem with simple project and suggest me a solution.

I'm really stuck with my biggest project which need to have this memory block.

I'm looking forward to hear from you,

Hi all

I find a sollution to my problem.

In memory-properties-general-setting up, I changed the block to look up Table memory, and I compile memory.vi and run it successfully.

I did change as you can see on the picture:

Just, can you tell me is it all "bad properties" and limits the use of this type of memory (Look up Table) of the implementation?

The problem of TDMS is special to 8.20. However, you cannot run the executable with a new runtime, because the compiled code is not compatible between major releases (example: code compiled with 8.5.0 will run on 8.5.1, but not on 8.6.x).)

  • Problems with e250 and SD memory card?

Basic information about the player: e250, 2 gig, version 1, 01.02.24 has

Basic information on the SD card: Sandisk micro SD, 2 GB

I have my sansa for a year and a half, and I have never had any major problems with it so far.  Recently, I had to remove the songs to put on the new songs due to lack of memory, so I decided to buy a memory card for it.  Getting the empty memory card I inserted and recognized my drive and everything was fine.  The problems started when I put songs on the memory card.

I put my player in MSC mode (as indicated in the manual), it is hooked to my computer (windows XP), and everything was fine.  I used windows media player to synchronize music on the memory card, then picked up my drive.  It is restarted, as he should, and I went to listen to music I would put right on and yet once again, it was fine.  Then, I wanted to listen to my music, and he flipped out on me and wouldn't let me play it.  After determining that it was not just this song, I removed the memory card and tried to play the old music, but he would always let me.  A small red box saying 'Wrong way' just kept popping up.

I decided to start over, so I have deleted all of the player (via the computer) and then attempted to deliver music on.  I tried a few songs, sync and play the two media of windows and my computer says that the songs were on the player.  To get the player from the computer, I went to "songs" and saw that it was always empty.  I hung up, and the computer says that these songs are on the player.

In a nutshell: my computer says it is synchronization of the songs to the player, but in reality, it isn't.  This has only started to happen after I had the memory card.

If someone could help me, that would be great.  Thank you!

I don't think that Windows Media Player will work in players v1 in MSC mode. It must be in MTP mode for WMP to recognize. In addition, with the cards in players v1, you HAVE to add/remove music in MSC mode only by drag and drop from your computer to the card (read as a drive in Windows Explorer). You have to treat the reader and the card as the "separate entities", even if physically they are connected. Once music is on the map, the player will fit perfectly on both songs.

In what concerns the "bad tracks", you need to run CHKDSK to repair corrupt files, so you can remove them properly. Answer NO when it asks you if you want to save the files "bad strings" (or something like that). Check the 'sticky' & the FAQ at the top of the body for specific instructions on running CHKDSK. While you're at it, also check out & play on your player of formatting, as you should probably next to you to go to a clean slate.

I believe that files (songs) put on using WMP in MTP mode can ONLY be played in this mode, and MSC placed files using drag ' drop can be read in THAT mode, which can be part of your problem. Probably best to start fresh and then don't forget you must manually put the songs on the map in MSC mode.

Another oddity of SD cards (at least with players of v1) is that you must also manually add the 'album art' to the file containing the music if you want to see the album art that song. With WMP and MTP mode on the player, it will play the album art embedded in the ID3tag. It will not do this on the SD card . You can see specific instructions on how to do it here. There is also a video showing the procedure here.

    I hope this helps...

  • Problems with PCI-7811R after upgrade from LabVIEW

    Hello

I have been using a PCI-7811R under LabVIEW 8.2 for quite awhile without difficulties. However, I just upgraded to LabVIEW 2009 and it seems to have stopped working.

I tried to run old code (that worked before) and I get the attached error. I try and locate the PCI-7811R in MAX ver 4.7.7 and he's not here.

    Any suggestions?

  • Problems with the Display Mode target on end 2009 27 "iMac

Used late 2009 iMac 27 "in the view target in conjunction with a Dell XPS tower with i7 processor, Windows 7 and the best graphics card I could afford at the time connected by HDMI to mini display port cable.  Worked well for years.  Set aside Dell for a few months and the update of the iMac to El Capitan OS 10.11.3.  Recently tried old setup with same Dell PC and was able to move from Mac to PC, but the PC screen resolution was at the lowest setting. I got an error message when enabling/disabling to PC who said there was a problem with the port causing mini display of the system back to the lowest resolution. Impossible to reset at a higher resolution.

I tested the Dell PC on another monitor, and it works very well at higher resolution (2560 X 1440). Now, when I reconnected it to the iMac (which works fine), the screen becomes black.

Is it possible that the operating system upgraded (El Capitan) is not compatible with the targets using mini display port Display Mode?  Any ideas?

Use your iMac as a display with the target - Apple Support Display Mode , also consider having a bad cable or connection. Does not hurt to try different cables, they can and will the bad!

  • Problem with 16 GB Sandisk memory card

    Hi all

I just bought a Clip Zip and use a Sandisk memory card to use with it. Unfortunately, while most of the library, there are a few artists who don't. I tried moving them on the player's memory, and then they operate, so it seems to be a problem reading the card, rather than the tags of the files. I bought the card from Amazon, so I eliminated the possibility that it might be a fake card. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the problem?
Thank you very much for your help!

How many records you on the drive? Keep inmind that the zip has a database of song 8000 limit. anything above 8000 will not be crawled and appear not in the menu. If you have less than 8000 files can you put some of the bad files so we can take a look?

  • Problem with variables stored in memory/cookies.

I'm not really sure what's going on, but that's what happens.

I have a swf file that connects to a server through a file, but that seems to hold some variables in memory or something to make it works fine the first time it is loaded, when I load the page again, either the browser or the drive is not compensation on the previous values. I don't know if there is a way to ensure that the swf file when it loads ensures don't not to keep the values in the cache.  In fact, it seems that the only way to get around my problem is to erase cookies from my site and then recharge.

    Any ideas?

generally speaking, adding a query with changing value string will prevent items being retrieved in the browser cache.

Whenever you do an upgrade of RAM in the future and you want to it works as expected the first time it is turned on:

Always purchase compatible memory modules guaranteed

upgrade only pairs of identical memory modules.

What you are experiencing, it's what I expected to happen because you do not follow these two rules "" upgrade memory in PCs and laptops. Mixing memory you made generally results in failure at startup or in an unstable operating system.

I can't tell you what should work, because you have not identified your PC. This is not the same as upgrading a self built PC. Manufactured of PC memory upgrades are always executed by matching the name of the manufacturer of the model to the list on the site in the configuration utility or the manufacturer of memory by the manufacturer. Find a serial number on the side or rear. Post here the number of full product in the wire.

If I want to add memory to my motherboard ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z, I look in the manual of the motherboard memory compatibility list. It is quite different with a manufactured as your desktop PC.

Kindly how can I fix this and increase the size of the windows usable memory?

    Thank you

-Go back to msconfig and click on the Startup tab > Advanced Options and clear the check box
next to 'maximum memory', if it has been checked.

-If you don't the have not already, update the BIOS of your motherboard can also help. See the download page from HP for the updates to the BIOS (can check motherboard driver updates as well).

Memory setting will not help. You have an integrated video card that is not designed to play 3D games. Since you have a laptop, you can't change that. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Problem with NQS_PASSWORD_CLAUSE block of initialization

I try to use the NQS_PASSWORD_CLAUSE in my block of session for authentication of the user's initialization. I query a table called bi_auth_table, which contains the bi_user and bi_user_pw columns.

Here are my source of block initialization code:

    Select bi_user from global_admin.bi_auth_table
    "where bi_user = ': the USER"
    NQS_PASSWORD_CLAUSE (and bi_user_pw = ": PASSWORD '") NQS_PASSWORD_CLAUSE

Try without space after the clause NQS_PASSWORD_CLAUSE as stated in the Manual:

  • Table of waveform LabVIEW 2009

I have a problem with the table of waveform in LabVIEW 2009, the chart will not poster on the table after a few iterations. This is a bug that appeared in LabVIEW 2009. The same program worked well with LV 8.6. Does anyone know a work around for this problem? I am currently using Version 9.0f2

    See the attached diagram

    It's strange...

I checked that save this return to 8.6 does indeed.

If you replace the function Merge signals with a bundle of things function seem to work fine.

There is also something weird happens with the property node. If you start with a pnode for active track, then drag it down to add another element, then change this new element to draw colors, you get an error on the property node.

  • problems with my Tungsten E2 Palm reading is not my memory card more

I have a Palm Tungsten E2 and I now have problems with him reading the memory cards and I don't understand why because it was very good.  I didn't give up, nothing happened.

I have a 1 GB memory card that I use.  It's a SD Impact memory card

When I insert card it makes no noise and if I try to format the card it says No card inserted.

I also tried a new card, it's a 2 GB Sandisk card (did not know at the time that it would use only a 1 GB card).

Hope that was enough information for you help out me.

My only other suggestion right now would be to try another 1gig or smaller card to determine if the card is at fault.

I had 100% success with SanDisk cards.

  • Problem with VeriStand deployment on cRIO-9074

    Hi all

I'm playing with VeriStand 2010 and my cRIO-9074. I'm just trying to deploy a very simple application of VeriStand on the cRIO, but I can't get VeriStand to connect properly to the cRIO. I get error 63. Would it be a problem that the cRIO is configured using LabVIEW 2009 and I use VeriStand 2010? Glancing at the MAX software on the cRIO contained NOR-RIO 3.4.0 (minimal) that contains time LabVIEW Real 9.0.1.

    Any other ideas?

In the Add/Remove programs for your cRIO in MAX dialog, you will also need to select custom Setup to see the installation component VeriStand engine.
