Problem with Admin Windows xp RUN As...
1. What is the exact error message when you try to run it on Windows XP?
There is not an error. Just not running. Key program accepts and stored, the AutoRun program does not work.
2. is the application works properly in Windows 7? Yes, exactly
Key saves not only the program, it does not matter.
RUNNING under...: with 'run as...' "is played.
A: If no admin password, what is the solution?
B: and if with ctrl + alt + delete, we have been unable to connect to Admin, what is the solution?
Why am I just click 'RUN AS... "I chose, in the admin password must do, even if you do not have the admin password.
Notice and when I enter the admin password, then the warning is not ' run as... '. »
What is the problem? You never know how many people go that route. Admin password must be an administrator to run to run as...?
If you do not know the admin password, you will not be able to use the option "run as" administrator. It is recommended to run as a Standard user, and then use the ' run as ' when you need to do an administrative task. So, you have the administrator password to perform this task.
It works as expected.

When installing iTunes it stops and a box will then appear to me said "there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support provider or package. "No error message or anything, that's all I get. When I hit the only button I can hit the OK button, it continues to install QuickTime. Sometimes, it will install the iTunes file and the shortcut, but the shortcut does never work and the iTunes file is always empty. I have download the installer directly from Apple.com and save to the desktop, a new copy after each test (just in case).

iTunes error update
I am trying to install an update to iTunes on my laptop and find the folowing part-way through the installation error:"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the set up did not complete as expected. Contact your provider to support personal or package. »
I got iTunes for 3-4 years now and have always been able to install updates successfully, so don't not sure what is the problem.
I tried msconfig and changed the boot process, so it includes all of the non-Windows elements, as suggested on the Microsoft Web site, but that has not worked.
Can anyone help?
Thank you
The instructions were to contact the vendor of the package. This isn't iTunes, Microsoft.

This has been going on for about a week or two now, and I really need help.Any ideas or help would be appreciated.Thank youHi once again, fortunately today I bring better news! As a result of a serious lack of assistance from Apple themselves, have no idea of "The Tech Guys" in the world PC and extremely unnecessary hours at Microsoft, I've sorted it me. In other words, the main problem with mine was the Apple Software Updater. Even with "Revo" I was unable to remove it. I decided to download "Windows Installer Clean Up" from there where I could find (it was also free!). I used it and immediately found, I could choose the Apple Software Updater and remove it with very little hassle in all. I proceed to download the new iTunes, and I'm a very happy Bunny! Thanks for nothing, Microsoft and Apple! Hope this helps - Dan

Thank youHello CBhaskar,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
If the information of Gokul has not helped to solve your problem, then I suggest that you use the Windows Installer Cleanup tool.
There may be a corrupt installation, you need to delete everything first.
Click here for a link to download the utility from Microsoft. You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.
If please reply back and let us know if this helps solve your problem or if you still need help.
Sincerely, Marilyn
