PROBLEM with Atheros WIFI

Hello!

Recently I bought the Acer Aspire V3 - 571G (production code: NX.) M67EL.002 / / I5, GT730m... ATHEROS!) and intalled OS Windows 7 64 bit and the drivers from the original DVD - wheres the Atheros driver version is 10.0.0.38.

Problem is that Atheros barely able to connect to my WiFi when I turned on the PC: 1 in 5 times it is connected as should be (without a problem, automatically); 3 of the 5 I needed to manually connect AND try up to 3 times (more than, I got the message error "Windows could not connect"); and 1 of 5, I had to restart my PC AGAIN!

Then I upgraded my drivers to 10.0.0.221 from HERE and he helped (I also enabled "11n" mode in the device - atheros for some reason Settings Manager, it has been decommissioned).

For 2 days, I had good connection! But yesterday, I sent my laptop to "sleep" so that I can easily turn it on before you go to work... and that was a bad idea - the problems came back. On my laptop, I had only 10.0.0.225 drivers 64-bit of Windows 8, but they have not helped, AND for some reason any my laptop not able to connect to internet with the wire! (although I did not test before connection cable)

Maybe someone had a problem like me and it is resolved?

And that means can't send my laptop 'Sleep' mode to turn on fast?

Thank you!

Hello again!

Recently, I was forced * to reinstall Windows 7 and the problem appeared again of course! God * beep *, I needed 1 hour just to install the network card, but I managed to do this: install 'WLAN_Atheros_10.0.0.225_Win8x64' drivers-> go to Device Manager and updated for the drivers Atheros AR5BWB222 win7 - 10.0.0.221 ! After this computer needs to be restarted AND everytime when the laptop cannot connect to the wireless network - you must go to the Device Manager and disconnect of the Qualcomm-Atheros - network adapter AND connect again!

These steps helped me - so I hope this will help others! Because I've seen a lot of reproach to the stability of the Atheros driver.

* The reason was that CPU drivers (I hope not CPU itself) gone MAD! thread 2nd 2nd carrots went 100% usability (after about 30 minutes after the tunding ON Windows) and then blue screen of death Windows appeared (and then nothing could be opened and even Windows couldn't stop!)

    Hello:

You did anything I would have done. I wonder if it's a hardware problem?

If you back up your files and perform a recovery system to the factory settings?

It would be the only thing left to try I can think of.

  • Problem with Atheros AR9285 in HP Probook 4530 s (XU018UT)

    Hello

Before you begin, I realize that a Probook is a product of HP company and this forum is no longer for the average consumer, but I think that a lot of parts is used the same for computers laptops home. I've also posted my problem in the section business

I have a HP Probook 4530 s (XU018UT) and seem to have a problem with the Atheros card wifi/bluetooth combo is preinstalled. When bluetooth is not in use, it works perfectly, however, when you use bluetooth to my helmet, my internet connection speed falls and becomes unbareable, I also updated the drivers to the latest via HP support assistant download

Then I bought a wifi/bluetooth card from Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6230 from HP parts store. I swapped for the new Intel one Atheros card and have no problem of speed, my only complaint with the Intel card is that the pairing is slow and my bluetooth headset connect automatically when it is turned on, as it did when installing Atheros card

I contacted Intel directly and they told me that the Intel card, I had maybe isn't compatible for my laptop and that it could still be Atheros drivers/programs installed that interfere with the operation of the Intel card and that's why I have the problem with my helmet and it is better to have the card Atheros OEM reinstalled.

I currently have the Intel card installed.

I prefer the Intel on only the Atheros card due to this being dual-band, but when it comes down to it, I'd be happy with each card installed as long as I have no bluetooth or internet connection problems slow downs.

FWIW, my laptop already returned to HP for the replacement of the Atheros card after I told him about the problem of internet speed of Atheros bluetooth is active. I've included the results of internet speed test to better explain my problem (that I compared with my older Dell laptop which has also N-wifi and bluetooth built in). My internet connection consists of a DSL line, 5Mbps download / 800 Kbps upload

Someone who can help me is very appreciated as I am a loss on what to do and I love my Probook other than this issue.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @HadjadjTaha,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

I understand that since the upgrade of Windows 8 for Windows 10 your Wi - Fi works fine, but after awhile the icon won't say no Internet and you will need to disable and re-enable the adapter to regain access to the Internet.

    Would check you this setting.

    • Go to the Device Manager
    • Click the network card to expand the list
    • Right-click on the adapter that is listed and choose Properties
    • Click the power management tab
    • If "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is ticked, please remove it.
    • Click OK
    • Repeat the process above listed all types of adapters.

  • Problem with drivers WiFi - HP Elitebook

    Hi all

I got a HP with Windows 7 64 bit installed Elitebook. My drivers wifi stopped working and I see a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager. I tried uninstalling the driver and put it back, but I can't do it. I had a similar problem with USB flash drives. I don't know how and why I can always connect flash drives I've used before, but if I try to connect any other flash drive for the first time, it does not install the drivers, and I see the same yellow exclamation point in Device Manager. When I uninstall it, it refreshes after uninstalling but it is still there with the same brand of error.

Thanks for your help and support in advance

    Thanks a lot buddy.

I tried to re-install the drivers, but I couldn't since I am unable to uninstall the existing drivers. I clicked on uninstall in Device Manager selection, the list would be updated but my wifi with this exclamation point drivers remained the same. Tried the hard reset as well but it didn't work. Finally got it resolved through this, may be useful for others.

I rebooted in safe mode, uninstall previous drivers successfully installed new drivers and rebooted. Works fine now. Thanks anyway for your help.

  • Problems with WiFi. Problems with the Wifi adapter driver.

    Hello

I have a Dell Inspiron 3520 with original 8 Windows installed on it. Wireless settings worked fine until yesterday but anyway its no longer works. I don't see any WiFi option and no wireless networks are also getting detected. Although his active on the network and sharing Center.

The details of the pilot are:

    Dell 1703 802.11b/g/n (2,4 GHz) Wireless

The internet LAN connections are working properly. When I received a diagnosis of the wireless connection, he said that there could be a problem with the driver for the WiFi card. I also tried the system restore, but the problem persists.

How can I sort this problem?

Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help
