Problem with GS716T Switch

This morning we plugged a phone Avaya IP (5621SW) to our network. It synchronized to the top, as it was supposed to, but we started to receive calls on PC hide. After some research, it seems that all PCs connected to a GS716T switch indicates no network connection when the phone is connected. Unplug the phone and turning the power on/off switch everything returns to normal. No other Netgear switch have been affected. We have replaced the GS716T with another switch (not a GS716T) and connect the IP phone has no effect. Wondering what it might be on the GS716T which makes it sensitive to the IP phone? Any thoughts?

Well, this isn't the configuration that I expected. The model number of the phone was 5621SW, so I thought that the connection is PC > phone > switch. I tried searching a few cases reported on the GS716T and did not find anything related. This problem is, I should say a little weird, since they do not use the same switch. But let's start the update of the firmware.

    New to the community. Just bought an Aspire SW5 - 012 Switch 10. Upgrade to Windows 10 before use. We use Office 365 with Onedrive for storage. After a week, the machine connects to the wifi, but not the internet. I ran 10 Windows diag on connection and got "wifi is not the valid IP configuration". I could get it to make the connection if I went to the command prompt and did; ipconfig/release and then ipconfig/renew. I discuss with Windows 10 tech, to see if problem with Windows. He clearly had me Winsock, Tcp, Int and reset. Nothing has worked. Then he told me to uninstall the network adapter driver and reinstall. Once I did, I can't go past media disconnected (State of the media). Everyone has problems of this kind. We have (badly) need this tablet to work.

    Problem solved! After posting here, I found a blog, Geeks in Phoenix, who gave the commands to reset the network card. I followed their instruction and it worked! We're back in business. How to reset the network adapter in Windows 10: go to the administrative level command prompt and run these four commands. netsh advfirewall reset, then enter. netsh int ip reset, then enter. netsh int ipv6 reset, then enter. netsh winsock reset, then enter. Restart the computer to complete the reset. I'm guessing that we had something change in the firewall settings, in the configuration of the adapter. The Windows 10 technician, that I have chatted with earlier, couldn't do that to me.

    I have a gene with a switch screen aspire 10.
    The brightness level is constantly changing. It is not dependend on the ambient light, because I turned off Adaptive brightness. (When I put a flashlight on the light sensor that does nothing).

    For example: sometimes when I switch between the metro and the desktop mode. Notable stage screens turns a bit more or less clear. It also happens when you watch movies, opening programs, almost always when the image changes.

    Does anyone know a solution to this?

    I have a problem with the list of switch values, missing a piece of the puzzle

    a notation attribute that has 2 lov defined for it - lov_a and lov_b
    a Type attribute which can have a value of 1,2,3,4 or 5
    a passenger attribure LovToUse which has the following expression: Type == 3? 'lov_a': 'lov_b '.

    In other words if the Type is 3 I would like lov_a to show otherwise, I want lov_b.

    I created an a jspx to edit and change the data in my view object.

    The attributes and the Type are on the jspx.
    Type is an autosubmit and side has a partial trigger on Type

    The idea is that when the user changes the Type via the user interface rating will change his lov depending on the Type.

    The problem I have is that when Type is changed to note without changing his lov because I guess the LovToUse attribute is not updated / refreshed.

    How to refresh LovToUse when Type is changed through the user interface and that is all I have to do to get note to use the correct lov?

    Looks like that the power switch has developed a problem, probably about to fail.

    Whatever settings are they should be consistent and not need to several tests.

    Check with a real computer store (the one that makes its own internal and no service
    leeks and glances at a Best Buy or other stores) or system manufacturer support
    (for systems custom Integrator system and the manufacturer in the case of construction of House).

  • Problem with NI Switch Executive - test Panel

    NI Switch Executive - Test Panel, I connect routes I created previously, which are then displayed to connected, without error. However, the corresponding relay is not activated (what I mean by monitring DMM). Using NOR-SWITCH Soft Front Panel, I can make the same connections and everything works fine, no idea why connections are not deployed in the Test Panel?

    Looks like the NI PXI-2530 is simulated in the IVI configuration.

    OR Switch devices Executive virtual peripheral references by their logical names.  Each logical name to a Session links pilot Max (Measurement & Automation Explorer).  A setting in the pilot Session allows you to simulate a device.

    I recommend to open MAX, expand the IVI Drivers > driver and check the general tab that the fake it with the drop-down list selection is set to do not simulateSessions.

    I tried to build a page with 4 buttons. Each button is a symbol that contains 2 png´2 who are the drawings of the key. If you click on the button 1, he has to move on the screen. If you click it again it should back off. and if you click on another button button1 is active then button1 should return to the starting position and button 2 should come on the screen.

    We have a vmware infrastructure still in version 4 on a HP Blade Center works for a few years without problem.

    However, 2 days ago, we noticed the VMS has been very slow. We have reduced the problem of network connectivity, even if we do not find what is the problem.

  • 2910al - 48G Switch: problem with the VLAN

    I write a new message because I don't know what is happening on my SW series 2910al - 48G and v1910 - 48G.

    I put on the main core SW VLAN 610 and I put to this VLAN IP addreess 100.110.10.1 24-bit etc and it worked fine until yesterday. I change only PLEASE and I enebale STP - loop protect for ports in the range 1-52. (now I rolback this settings as was before)

  • Problems with encoder motor switching noise readings

    Hi all

    I wanted to ask advice with a hardware problem which seems to be pretty common.

    Here I describe my request:

    We are controlling an electric actuator for robotics application. We use encoders to take position readings, and we need to perform analog acquisition for other measures (for example, the force measured using strain gauges).

    The problem is:

    In summary, I have problems to properly acquire position readings of a linear encoders quadrature and also a few analog inputs. The cause is the switching noise generated by the drive motor that we use (which is an engine without Stricker of CC Moog BN-23-23).

    Our acquisition platform is an NI PXI-8106 with a PXI-1042 q chassis. We have two possibilities to acquire the signals. We have a multifunction DAQ series NI PXI-6259 M and a FlexRIO NI PXI-7951R with one module DIO NI PXI-6581R.

    The switching noise have a frequency of 30 kHz. In a scope, we see a series of peaks of noise which are present only during a short period of time (approximately 1/10th of the duration of the noise). The rest of the time the noise is not present.

    The Accelnet amplification module that powers the electric motor gives us a clock signal synchronized with the noise (whose frequency is approximately 1/4 frequency noise). This clock signal provides a way to solve the problem of analog acquisition. We can use this clock to make an acquisition stamped with an external clock in LabView connecting the clock on a spit of PFI or FPGA card. But the noise is also corrupt this clock signal (we get an error daqmx us warning of possible defects in the clock signal and also to stop the acquisition). I believe that to solve the problem of encoder we can also solve the problem of the analog acquisition.

    In the encoder readings noise makes our County to counter upward or backward gradually fast enough. We can get an increase in the position of about 10 cm per second with no appreciable movement in the linear actuator.

    It would be a great help if someone could put the solution he uses to solve this problem.

    PS: I stress my conviction that we have a hardware problem, because we have only bad readings when the electric motor does not work. I am therefore convinced because we have already done reading encoder and analog with the help of other players, such as hydraulic cylinders. So, I think that it is not a problem with our software (of our LabView VI).

    I don't know why the noise could be the cause of your encoder can increase more slowly...  However I have a suggestion on the map of the M series (6259):

    M-series cards have a digital filter integrated on the lines of the PFI (see the user manual of M series).  Looks like the noise is a series of 3 ~ US of impulses (1/10 to 1/30 kHz).  Of the available filtering frequencies that you can set on your M series is 6,425 US, which must ignore the impulses (high or low) that are less than 6,425 US. You can configure the digital filtering with a property node DAQmx:

    One caveat is that the driver only allows you to configure the digital filtering for entries counter on M Series devices.  For example, you can use a digital filtering directly on your task of encoder, but not for your sample clock HAVE.  A workaround can be found here, which is to set up a dummy counter job to define the PFI filter for your task to HAVE.  If you use the same PFI line for your encoder and the task to HAVE it, you should be able to just set up the PFI filter through the task of the encoder and worry for the workaround.

    Regarding the RIO Flex, I think that you could implement something similar on the FPGA, but I'm probably not the best person to comment on this subject.  It would be probably a lot more work to use the DAQmx API's built-in filtering.

And then I did the windows updates, but I have 2 drivers that do not work is the one whose name is "Kionix sensor Fusion device" and the other whose name is 'Micro Capella CM3218x ambient light sensor. Without these drivers, I can't activate the automatic rotation for when I want to use my device in the form of tablets and I can't use the automatic brightness for display.

    The answer of the Acer support is that this computer is not done for the company and it will never be drivers for the HOME version of windows 10 x 86 version.

  • Problems with config Small Business switch

    Hi, I know that if I read the documentation I will come for answers, but I'd really like some input from someone with more knowledge than me. I have a problem with Cisco SF300, one of the Small Business switches. I have a single interface on my router and I need to separate my internal networks, I thought that one way would be to use VLANs. On my two internal networks a network has D-Link unmanaged switches, the other has the Cisco SF300 I did as follows.

    On the Cisco Switch, all of the default ports for ports of junction. I changed FE1-FE24 and GE1-2 to access ports.

    Created two VLAN and placed FE1-FE24 in VLAN10 (also my management VLAN), GE3 is a trunk Port for unidentified VLAN20, VLAN 20 uplinks to my DiLink switches. This way my unmanaged switches traffic arrives on a trunk on VLAN20 untagged port.

    GE4 is a trunk port and I assigned to VLAN1 untagged, tag VLAN10 VLAN20 tag and. 10 of VLANS and VLAN 20 then to my router.

    The plan was to connect GE4 to my router, but I had two things happen that I can't explain.

    All first as soon as I connected my D-Link to GE3 LAN on VLAN20 came down, I couldn't ping servers from computers etc, all devices are connected to the D-links unmanaged. Secondly, the responsibilities of VLAN changed on GE3 GE4, VLAN 10 and 20 disappeared and only the VLAN by default was assigned, also under settings VLAN my state of interface VLAN for VLAN20 shows people with reduced mobility. One of my FE12 continues also to change VLAN access ports.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what might have crushed the LAN and why change my VLAN. I wrote my config running at startup configuration incidentally.

    The problem is that the workingScreen is not displayed.     Hi Aegx, this is a rare case where the switch basically forget his identity. Although the switch is recoverable, it is recommended the switch RMA.

    If you are certain that you have neither taken under warranty, all the information that is asked is on the bottom of the switch sticker. If the thumbnail is is not present you wouldn't able to do this is correct.

    In addition, if you make a typographical error, the switch will have undesirable failures that are permanent, such as the inability to update software.
