  • Download problems and installation of Adobe Flash Player

Recently, I created a flash slideshow and sent the .swf file to potential customers, I told them to go to http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download flash player to view slide show but when they will download and install it will not work. They are mainly using windows 8. Is it easier to advise people to install flash player for when they would not be working on computers?

I've seen so many people having problems with this method that adobe uses to update Flash player. mainly due to their McAfee Security Scan Plus certified bloatware that is rubbish as virtually all PCs now days have AV, which is the only reason they're doing this IMO. If you read to the end of this, you will find a better solution, the solution much easier.

An overview on the versions of Flash player on Windows platforms.

In 8.X and Windows 10 Internet of the drive windows flash to explore is managed by downloads Windows such that it is integrated with Windows.

Player Flash of Google Chrome are incorporated in Chrome and maintained by Google; Simply uninstall and re - install chrome could solve the difficult problems. Google Chrome normally updates automatically. in any version of Windows

Flash player for Firefox are installed via this site and are NOT automatically updated at this time of Mozilla.

Edge browser is maintained at that flash player in the same way Internet Explorer is managed in Windows 10 in Windows updates.

So, just because they use Windows 8, there are different ways to maintain the flash player. Nothing is simple at this time.

IF you are on Windows 7, then you must literally manually update two 3 versions manually. all 3 If you are using Opera as a browser option

Windows 8.X and up to that you need to update only the NPAPI version if the user is using Firefox, update chrome, or run Windows updates to update flash player.

I have a partial solution for anyone, but it will affect zero on Internet Explorer or edge on 8.X Windows or Windows 10. Only for the Firefox Opera

For Windows 7, it takes care of all of them.

    You have two options:

  • Installation of Adobe Flash Player without Adobe DLM or plu GetAdobe

    Hi, my friends:

I am so worried about the installation of Adobe Flash Player .  And it's because I'm not able to install Abobe Flash Player, without installing Adobe DLMand Get Adobe more.

So my question is very easy...

When you try to install Abobe Flash player, you have the option to choose, or not, choose, install other aplicactions like the McCaffee toolbar (in Mozilla, Opera, Safari, Netscape, Chrome, version) or Google toolbar (in the version of Internet Explorer).  Your system perfectly to choose this option. But...

    • Why is impossible to install Abobe Flash Player alone, without bearing the same full as we chosse to install or not install the add-ins or tool bars mentioned above?
    • If I have any other choice that install Adobe flash player, with all the complements of Abobe: why is so difficult to uninstall all this add-in (Adobe DLM and get Adobe more) later?

So I have kind of possible solutions.

    1. How to install Adobe Flash player, without supplements is not necessary (sorry, but it's true)
    2. How to uninstall the add-in, once you have completely installed your Adobe flash player before.

I hope that you had to understand me, and you could help me to get the solution to this problem.

    Excuse my terrible English.

And thank you very much for your answer.

Hi HZ, thanks for the info. OK, I have XP/SP3 & IE6 too, so I am very familiar with your system.

Go to start, control panel and double-click on Add/Remove. Find DLM(download manager) and getPlus. Click on DLM and remove it. When he went (you won't see more) then remove getPlus also.

    Then Reboot (restart your computer)

By using the Internet Explorer browser, go to tools, click on Manage Add ons and look in "currently" and "have been used" and see

If there is no DLM or getPlus Add ons.

    Then let me know.

    Thank you

  • Anyone know how to change the password for the installation of Adobe Flash Player?

Anyone know how to change the password for the installation of Adobe Flash Player? I have tried everything that I usually use and nothing works. My Adobe ID password works perfectly. I can't complete the installation without this, and it doesn't have a 'forgotten password' button to change it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

There is no password required for the installation of Flash Player, at least not on the side of the things Adobe.  It's probably the security of your computer, forcing you to you connect allowing the installation to occur.  Only you would know what would be the connection for this information.

  • Problem Installation plug Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.7

On several sites, I was alerted that I need to install the plugin Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.7 to see everything correctly. When I select the button install, I get the message that it could not be installed, and I had to install it manually. By selecting Options in the menu dropdown gets no reaction. And, interestingly, I already have Adobe Flash Player 11.0.1.152 (the more recent) installed on my computer. How to install this plug in?

There are two different versions of Flash, ActiveX for IE version and the version of the plugin used by most other browsers.

    1. download the Plugin Flash version 10.3.183.10 from here installation folder:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

    Thank you!

From Windows 8, Microsoft integrates Flash Player in IE and Edge (WIn10).  The ActiveX EXE or installers MSI DO NOT work on these operating systems.

Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player, all updates are published by Microsoft via Windows Update.  Make sure you have the latest update installed.  Microsoft security bulletins lists the various security updates.  I don't see a separate item of Flash Player, as they have for July August update.  Most likely, it is included in the cumulative update for IE/Edge.

I removed and installed Adobe Flash Player (AFP) a lot of times without error, but Firefox (FF) do not realize AFP.

    This problem drove me crazy. I've tried everything. Finally the creation of a new profile using the profile manager, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?esab=a & s = creating + a + new + profile & r = 0 & s = ACE
