  I have a problem with youtube and other video sites:

  Everything is up-to-date (flash, FF, my plug ins.) but I get crashes when loading the video. I can hear the sound but I see only the first frame of the video.

On official catalyst 12.4 site AMD form is identical on 12.6 beta.

  And the strangest thing is that my friend has the Asus laptop with the same features of the CPU and GPU, and he has not had problems using the latest drivers form AMD site.

  OK, I solved the problem. Just had to uninstall Amd accelerated video transcoding device and now all works well on catalyst 12.4 in the site of AMD.

  1. The issue has started happening recently?
  2. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?

  This problem occurs when there is that no updated drivers are there for the material. As you have tried most troubleshooting including reset, I suggest you try to install the updated for touchscreen drivers and chipset drivers and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

  Uninstall and reinstall the driver for Interface devices and check the issue. 

  Follow the steps below to uninstall the drivers.

  1. Press the Windows key + X , and then select Device Manager.
  2. You can search for Devices of Interface and expand it.
  3. Right-click on the Devices of Interface and select Uninstall.
  4. Restart your computer. Windows will install the generic drives after reboot.

  Look for the question, if it persists the passage to the next method.

  Method 2:

  Uninstall and reinstall the chipset drivers and display drivers.

  Follow the steps in method 1 to uninstall display drivers and chipset drivers but it does not restart, you need to download the driver from the link below.

  Samhrutha - It seems that the problem was with Amazon.  I downloaded the videos WMP 11 wouldn't play correctly, i.e. with the video controls not working not properly, the simplest and most obvious way.  An Amazon representative suggested that I download them a more roundabout way (a lot more), so I did.  Now, WMP 11, they play very well.  Thanks for your help.

  If it can't find anything then try a sfc/scannow to see if this detects and corrects errors in the main operating system.

  Also run a disk error check to see if that locates all the problems.
