Problem with Media Player CD cover display

I have several friends who have given me their own CD, which I ripped to my Windows Media Player.  The problem is that the wrong image is displayed as the CD cover. As an example, I ripped a CD of my friend Dwayne gospel, but he is shown with the cover of the CD for Charlie Wilson, which I also ripped to my player.  How can I remove this image? The problem seems to be with self-published CDs, because it happened also to another; This same cover of Charlie Wilson is displayed instead of Sharla

Hello

I suggest you to change the cover of the CD (cover) manually.

    If you access Windows Update (start - programs - Windows Update), you can
    see if there is a newer driver. The drivers are optional updates are not so made
    automatically.

    Download the driver for your audio hardware manufacturer (or motherboard if

  • Problems with media player and Streaming Online & Essentials

    I didn't know where to post this because it concerns problems reading media downloaded and all media and streaming online. In other words, any media. I have now found my problem with the problem and that's coming from MS Essentials and becomes very disruptive. Carefully One I've ever had this problem and it's probably because it was not a free service, however, since I installed essentials the problem has worsened. Also on one of my computers, the update will start just randomly and all but shuts down the system. Yet once, never happened with care. If this problem persists I will launch essentials to another more compatible antivirus protection system. Moreover, it happens with all other types of media also like Real Player and i Tunes so it is not exclusive to WMP.    All resolutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • Problem with Media Player be corrupted.

    A few weeks ago I tried to rip a CD on it, and he always says that he was waiting, he never ripped. I tried several ones, thought maybe it was just the drive itself, but nothing would work. • Problem with Media Player, Itunes, Spotify, etc., playback of music files.

    Windows Media Player, the new app music, Spotify... I even downloaded iTunes to try. NOTHING played music files. Windows Media Player just showed a red "x" next to any file was attempted. ITunes, Spotify and others just simply never begin when you click on play. The game starts and stops with no movement of the cursor or time.

    The audio was working with some programs. Like Windows Live Movie Maker, when I imported a music file to a video, it plays very well. All the sounds of the OS worked fine. Internet audio everything worked fine. Yet, none of the standard programs music would play all files. Nothing seemed to work.

    It was the audio drivers all the time! I never had no driver works partially, with some programs and not others, like this before.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    However, I was able to reinstall the drivers to operate.

    Hello Jorstar1,

    Thank you for your message.  Windows Media Player 11 supports .avi, but compression can dictate whether he will play or not.  This is very probably a Codec issue, you can perform a websearch for a Codec that will play any avi compression.

  • Windows Media Player does not display of MicroSD songs album art

    Summer love the Surface Pro offer functions since I got the 9 February, but lately, I've been a few software/hardware problems here and there. One of these issues is with Windows 8 itself. Go to a 500 GB SSHD in my old laptop with a 128 GB SSD in the Surface Pro forced me to move no delicate libraries or all the files on a 64 GB MicroSD card; No delicate part of these things is my music/iTunes library.

    After that, I then open Windows Media Player and noticed that it lacked all the artworks of my music organized itunes album in library view. Thinking it was just Windows Media Player still missing support for .m4a files (even if the file Explorer supports them clearly), I tried to add the album art, and it made no difference. Then it crossed my mind that maybe its Windows Media Player that does not support display cover from a disk full out of the primary. So I have moved the library to its default location, open Windows Media Player and it shows ALL of my music organized itunes album artwork.
    Move back to the new MicroSD is back to square 1; Windows Media Player is not display Album art. All geek/hacker knows a fix for this? I am confident in the modification of ANY part of the file system on my computer, including the registry. Thanks in advance.

    This looks like a problem of indexing. Windows just indexes not removable media by default particularly well. http://digitalmediaphile.com/index.php/2012/11/02/how-to-use-Windows-8-RT-apps-libraries-and-removable-media/ might help.

  • When I burn a CD with Media Player 11 the text (name of song and artist) do not appear on my CD player.

    When I play a CD I burned through MP 11 names of songs and artists are not displayed on my CD player in my house and car.  Is there a setting that needs to be done to get the title of the song and the artist to show in the field of test on my players?  I was able to burn CDs using my old media application, but it is no longer supported.  It was nice to see the textual information, now all I see is the number of the song, not the name.  I can't seem to find any help for this, so I ask here.  I am running VISTA SP2 with Media Player 11.

    Hi Billosaurus,

    Welcome to the forum of responses to Windows Vista.

    Windows Media Player does not burn audio CD, CD text, and it doesn't have the plug-ins Windows Media Player from Microsoft which will be added to this support.  There are many applications that make the third party CD burning. Moreover, if the CD supports playback of WMA or MP3, you can use Windows Media Player to burn your CD with more songs by CD and all track information.

    However, there are third-party applications like enabling this feature. You can check on the internet for plugins like these.

    Warning of third party

  • Problem with video player

    Hi experts,

    I'm under 2 problems with video player in my application:

    1. the backlight turns off automatically after 30 seconds by default during playback of a video file.

    2. impossible to adjust the volume, he always plays with the highest volume.

    When I try to play the video by media player integrated BB Bold, the volume is adjustable and the backlight is on during the display of the video. Is it possible to do the same thing in my application?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    Binh Nguyen

    -For the first problem, you will need to set the backlight to yourself in the code, something like:

    If ((Display.getProperties () & Display.DISPLAY_PROPERTY_REQUIRES_BACKLIGHT)! = 0)
    {
    Backlight.Enable (true, 20);
    }

    Be careful about the number of seconds that you pass to the enable(). They are tp limited 255 seconds even if you spend a lot. This means that if your video is longer than 255 seconds, you must call the activate more than once. I usually call it the timer as well as check the status

    -For volume control, the player does not meet the default control buttons. You need to implement it in your code.

    Set the class of player that you use to implement the method as follows:

      protected boolean keyControl(char c,int status,int time)
        {
            if(c == Characters.CONTROL_VOLUME_UP)
            {
                //IncreaseVolume;
            }
            else if(c == Characters.CONTROL_VOLUME_DOWN)
            {
                //decreaseVolume();
            }
            return super.keyControl(c,status,time);
        }

    Where the increseVolume is something like:

    If (_Kit! = null) //_vc = player VolumeControl
    {
    _vc.setLevel (volumeLevel);
    }

  • Problem of "Media Player is not responding"

    I have an annoying problem with my player and I'm not finding someone else with this problem here. I can't play a video of more than 10 minutes before my Android app announced "media player is not responding" and stop playing the video, then it does not work again until I have restart Media Player. I get the same erorr message if I try to go back into the application before I reboot the Media Player, so the only way to clear it is to reboot. I also have this same problem, even if I let the Media Player sitting there for awhile with no connection (with wifi still running). The wifi stays on even when this message appears, so I do not know whence the failure.

    We have owned this unit for a few years now, but we don't use it when we travel, so it's been a few months that we have used the latter. When I plugged it in this time I was told there was a firmware update so I updated to 3.04 and I'm guessing that it has something to do with this update. I have tried the factory reset but it does not help.

    Anyone have any idea what causes this problem? This makes this device pretty much a brick partial, since it is not a reliable connection more. :/

    Ok problem solved! It is an odd, so thanks for reading this long answer...

    After your last message, I contacted the live chat customer support and spoke to them for almost an hour. Unfortunately, they weren't much help. I felt as if I forcing me to drive me in fixing this thing rather than the reverse. Fortunately I am techie enough where I could do it without problem a lot, but it is always frustrating when they couldn't help. Their last words were for me to everything, including the memory card, format and start again and see if it worked.

    I backed up the videos on the main hard drive on the device and pulled out the memory card all together. Why format when I could just pop out? In any case, I turned on the app to enter in the settings of the drive to format, when I noticed something. I had 10 videos on the main hard drive (noticed it when I backed up the files on my desk), but so far only 3 were detected by the device. Once I pulled the memory card, all of a sudden that all videos have been listed on the main drive. This put in mode 'fix' and I ran a test with the same video, I had problems with.

    The video played throughout! No stopping for 10 to 12 minutes in. So, it's the memory card... OK, that narrows things down...

    Can I back up all the files on the memory card and delete everything on it. I pop the memory card in and play the same video. No problems. OK, so it's a problem with a file on the card. I then had to move 5 files at once on the memory card, then play the video, every time, which means I played the video for 15-20 minutes each time, so it took me all day to understand this. Oy.

    In any case, the problem file? An mp3 player. I have NO idea why an mp3 file was originally my problem, in particular a file I only played again. In fact, my video test was on the main drive and this mp3 was on the memory card. I don't know how a file sitting here would cause problems with any other files on the device. In fact. Lol sense. The name of the mp3 file contained no strange characters, it was just acceptable characters.

    So now that this file is gone everything works very well as he has done before. Hopefully this is the last, if she comes back later then I will study if the memory card has a bad sector on it and see if it is the cause.

    Thanks for reading!

  • Unknown problem caused media player to close and that to protect my Media Player Windows has disabled skins

    Original title: "skins".
    I recently downloaded a lot of skins from the microsoft Web site, and it worked very well for about an hour. Then I saw a skin called 'come back' I don't not download but recalled seeing in my default skins that were already installed. I wanted to see what it was and when I did caused a problem which I can't specify because the notification window remained only until fairly long for me to see (in a nutshell) "unknown problem caused media player to close and to protect my Media Player Windows has disabled skins. Now, I spent over 3 hours to try each answer in the forums for this issue and not one worked for me. I am running Windows Vista Home Basic and I can't find a way to reactivate my skin so that I can use only skins working know is the company and changing the skin that caused the problem. I tried deleting and reinstalling all the skins again, but again does not help. I tried to do a right click on the skin to go to properties to activate as suggested in the forums, but when I right click on it nothing happens. So now I have like 20 downloaded skins but the only way that they work is if I download again and choose to view them, but if I try to change the playlist or switch to full mode then it goes to firm skin and I download it again to get the one I want. I am so frustrated with this problem which I think should be a very easy thing to fix, but nothing I try works. Please help me. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
