Problem with recording devices and call issues
Until recently I had a few problems with my microphone on Skype. Whenever I start my PC, everything will be fine, but every time I change the microphone source (from my webcam for stereo mix so I can play sounds in calls) and leave the call, I get weird questions. First if I still have the stereo mix as the source micro fine, but if I change it to my micro webcam when I click on answer call nothing happens and if I call someone it won't fail to connect and it will say: problem with the device registration, which is strange because it has nothing to do with the connection. Also if I change the source to microphone during a call, the call will be disconnected as if I turned on the internet and post something about the sound card errors. Can anyone help?
I found the problem, clown fish was not working with Skype and it ceased to use the microphone and I thought since I had removed so I don't think that was the problem, but for some reason any, it is been installed, in any case I removed it and now Skype works fine.
Could someone help me? my lack of Skype let me call anyone, when I try to call or answer a call it comes a message saying "problem with recording device"-does anyone know how to fix this help please!

In short, despite not having a mic that I usually use Skype calls to be able to listen to friends when you play and do stuff in general. However today all of a sudden when we tried it auto-a ended the call with an error 'problem with the recording device '.
It happens both with echo and simple restart does not solve the problem either.
Apparently, with the new codec NGC (new generation call), which is now used for all calls from Skype, it is mandatory to have a microphone connected to the computer. Without a microphone, Skype calls will not work.

There is no real "means" to solve these problems. The only way they will get solved if the manufacturer of your device (Broadcom) or your software publishers adapt their software so that they will be 10 compatible Windows. Right now, I can tell you that even with these errors, you still can update Windows 10. The Broadcom Wireless card is a virtual, so unless you use it, you don't need. It is not your true wireless adapter so your WiFi will still work, then you can ignore this warning. Regarding the LogonStudio, it simply means that the program could not work properly after the upgrade so that you can be: uninstall the upgrade and reinstall the then reinstall it after the upgrade or the program is simply not compatible with Windows 10 and the Publisher unless it adapts to Windows 10 , there is nothing you can do about it.
However, these are only warnings that can be ignored, your computer can be upgraded to Windows 10 and it'll still works.

I have a new computer x201i laptop Windows 7, Bluetooth is installed and running, the icon is on but I can't communicate with external devices like mobile phones. 1. I can only call a few people in my contact list. (at every time without problem) where others it disconnects right away when I try to call.
2. I cannot sms only to individuals who have already sent me an sms, I can carry on a conversation but does not start with someone.
3. some people I can txt I can't call and visa versa.
I tried to make calls and txts in different places and times with the full signal strength. As I tried all the proposed problem fixed here. Yet, I still have the problem. I don't know if people have hurt to put a hand on me.

Problem with playback device means that Skype cannot find a speaker or a headset that is properly configured on your machine in order to make a call.
I suggest you to run the Fixit and check if it helps.

If the problem persists, I suggest that you make sure that speaker or headphones are selected by default.
a. go to Start and click on Control Panel.

I recently had problems with my microphone and speakers/headphones and game controllers.
Sometimes the microphone stops working when on Skype, for example, but most of the time works fine, once again, when I restart the pc.
Stakeholders sometimes still work when I connect headset.
Some of the sounds are still coming through the speakers while some coming through the headphones.
I have a usb game controller which also did not work everything properly.
If I assign buttons in the program that they do not work in the game.
All these devices are in Device Manager in a group that makes me think it's sort of annoying update doubtful that messes with them.
Any body have similar problems or know what to do better?

Are you talking about internal microphone or external? This only happens using Skype?
In your case I would test the microphone using different applications to make sure that is not a Skype related issue.

I put t think its problem of laptop in my opinion, you must make sure that the controller is compatible with the games you play and also recommended to check some info provided by the manufacturer of the game controller.

Open the Windows Device Manager. Are there looking for this virtual audio capture device, then uninstall it.
Since I upgraded to El Capitan I have several, serious problems with USB devices:
1 USB hard drive: everything by watching a video from an external hard drive, the hard drive will be to disassemble all the minutes, the video will be of course hang and it takes 45-60 seconds until the drive reconnects. Last weekend, I have an irritating problem with my HP 15 laptop. Bought two years ago and upgrades to Windows 10 a year ago.
First of all, my touchpad started to not work properly. It "freezes" and I can't use it until I click the ESC key, but it doesn't last and "freezes" again a few seconds later. Then, everytime I open a window where there is a text box (Start menu, edge browser, Control Panel, etc.), the number 5 is entered automatically and permanently, as if the button 5 has been blocked. I did a quick check and button 5 do not seem physically stuck.
Yesterday, I restored the system to the factory settings, so I'm back to 8.1 for Windows and then upgraded to Windows 10. Everything seems to work fine, but this morning, the problem was back. Is there something I can do? What is the problem caused by Windows 10 or the computer? Should I restore it to Windows 8.1? Everything worked great til last weekend, I don't know what that was.

Have you tried to use a keyboard external and mouse at all?
Have you tried to go to Safe Mode to see if the problems persist in there?
Have you tried to perform a material or forced reset Reset?
Did you do a test of material?
Have you updated your drivers?
... Is there something I can do? What is the problem caused by Windows 10 or the computer? Should I restore it to Windows 8.1? Everything worked great til last weekend, I don't know what that was.
It could be a driver problem to be able to look at that for you, I need your model number. I wish I could give you an answer or not, but at this point without the troubleshooting results and the model number, it is difficult for me to say.
I can say that if everything works in point 8.1 of Windows without problem, the driver TROUBLESHOOTING is a great place to start. Please try to follow these steps for the keyboard and the touchpad of troubleshooting:
- Search for Device Manager
- Search results, open Device Manager.

- Show hidden devices.
- Click the arrow next to keyboards.
- Right click on the name of the keyboard device.
- Select uninstall.
