  If I use ADR as print server is OK, but I need to use non-English characters.

  You use DB Oracle 11g or later? If so, you must enable Network Services to use the configured Print Services.

  You should not use "External Apache FOP", but you can "Oracle REST Data Services" as an option "print server". But, you should open the ords.war file and replace the Apache FOP associated jar files so that it supports non-English characters.

This will help the people setting up fonts and support for complex Scripts for example, Arabic, Hebrew, hindi and Southeast Asian scripts using Apache FOP comes with ADR as "print server".

  Looks like its trying to make something that becomes larger than the page size. try to comment on any table / image that can be the cause of this, in order to eliminate it as a possibility.

• Problem with report filter (security issue)

  I'm having a problem with a filter on one of my reports. We report a listing all units of the organization. Unity in this report can be clicked to go to B report that shows the details of this unit.
  
  When a user accesses A report, they should be able to see all the units, but if they click on a unit that they are not Member, B report should show no results.
  
  If they click on a unit that they BELONG to one, then the B report should display correctly for them.
  
  I have a session variable that gets their unit number and confirmed that it works.
  
  My filter on report B is:
  The year is invited
  AND
  (Unit is equivalent to / is in NQ_SESSION.) Unit AND is invited)
  
  I'm assuming that this filter only results would show if the user clicks on a unit (in the report) that they belong to. However, what is happening is that if a user clicks on a unit that they belong not to them, it still shows the results in the report B for this unit.
  
  Does anyone have ideas on this one?
  
  My only other option is to use a CASE statement on report with URL GO so it only allows users to click on the units they belong to- but I would rather avoid that because go the URL isn't really open the report in a page that maintains the appearance of the rest of the dashboard.

  When you click the button filter options, you will see the option for the filter to protect. This limits the filter unchanged after the wick down. I guess your session variable to work properly.

• Problem with report after a link to the bar chart

  I have given up trying to achieve after only a few hours to try so I really hope someone can help with this.

  I have a simple table in Apex Oracle called 'EVENT' that lists the events I've attended (concerts, football games, etc.). Page 1 of the application, I have a horizontal bar graph listing top bands on the page I've seen. On page 2, I have an interactive report that allows the user to query any attribute in the columns. You can connect to my application using http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=77768:1:10862165435051 and comments/apex_help.

  The two pages worked successfully when independent. The report has been generated simply by using the following code and I could search anything in the table:

  However, I wanted to allow the user to click on one of the columns in the chart on page 1 bar and be taken to the report on page 2 and then showing only the band column of the histogram. To do this, I implemented a component hidden on the page 2 known P2_EVENT_NAME and created a link between this element and the column of the table. The link is based on the following SQL code:

  This works insofar as the user is now able to click on the column of the table and begins to report that returns only the results for the relevant event_name. The user may return to the map and select a different column and be taken to the report updated. The problem is that the report page now is no longer behaves independently of the graph. If the report returns no more results unless you click on the chart, and type a value in the search bar will return nothing. (Searching for "Alice" should show the Alice in concert of strings that I went last night.) I know it's probably the last line in my SQL report source that doesn't hurt, but I don't know how to get the report to ignore the P2_EVENT_NAME value if it is null.

  Any ideas where I'm wrong?

  I would say that rather than try to apply the predicate in the report query, you create IR filters dynamically in the table of links.

  I do not see these errors on the other server ESXi I use, and I am at a loss to explain this.

  The journalist script creates the file *.tgz for the server, and when I crack it open there are a TON of data in it (it's about 50 MB).  The only difference between this server and the one who gets no errors is an extra folder in the *.tgz called 'altbootbank', from what I can find until passing by the content.

  Is this something that would cause the bid invalid?

  Hi, is there a VM in the inventory of 192.168.254.1 with space in its name, for example, "mail server"? This can cause the reporter producing the output above, which does not affect the validity of the bid. There is a forthcoming patch for VMmark 2.5, which includes a fix to this bug. In the meantime, you can eliminate this output by renaming the virtual machine, so there is no space in the name (all VMmark VMs tiles should be missing spaces in any case).

• Problems with report l / h

  I'm doing a short film with Adobe After Effects CS4 and Adobe first Elements 9, I'm relatively new to After Effects and I need a little help

  I edited the film in the first that I want to correct the color in After Effects, so I export images from first with these settings:

  I have tried to tinker with a couple of parameters on the After Effects composition, change the format of the "Square Pixels" pixels, and lock the proportions, but nothing has changed. I tried to make the raw images (not edited/exported in first) by After Effects and it does the same thing.

  I am new to the forums and products so I hope that the pictures have enough information for you guys for help. I can provide more information/photos on the parameters I use if necessary.

  You don't show us your output module settings.

  This is probably what is happening. First of all, you are confusing aspect ratio and pixel aspect ratio. Aspect ratio is the ratio between the height of an image to the width. Format of pixels an artificial number that puts less pixels in an image. This reduces the data rate and resolution. They have nothing to do with the other. Let me be clear.

  To save bandwidth, non square pixel formats have been invented so that it would take fewer pixels to fill a frame. In the same way that a lens, anamorphic (cinemascope) liked an image from the movie, the non square pixels press a digital image into a smaller container. When playing at the no square format the image is enlarged once more for that distortion due to compression is fixed. It started with widescreen DV formats where the entire digital video is 720 pixels wide and has been postponed because the equipment available at the time was incapable of reading or saving an image of HD full HD resolution.

  When you work in a production environment, you should always do as much of your work that you can on a canvas of square pixels. After Effects and Premiere Pro (and any other video app, that I've never used) will automatically correct distortion in your film not square as long as you follow a few simple rules. Make sure that the sequence is interpreted correctly (yours is) and add images to the composition to square pixels. Your film is 1440 pixels wide and 1080 high so it will integrate perfectly in a standard frame of 1920 X 1080 (composition). This way of working and your rendering problem will be completed. Your images in non square pixels would work perfectly in the model of square pixels of any size of 100 X 100 pixels to 3000 X 200. Images are not perfectly in the framework, but the images would not be distorted. You may evenly across the images upward or downwards to adjust any image size as long as you are working in a project of square pixels.

  The other thing to consider is that there are only a few left devices that require no square in their delivery format pixels. Everything shown on the web is square pixels. Unless you have a specific need for rendering a 1440 X 1080 file, you should be made standard size of 1920 X 1080 or other square pixels. This is the only way to ensure you want to avoid distortions because almost every video player is incapable of not squeezing the video to remove the distortion. It would be like a movie theater projecting a film in cinemascope without an anamorphic cinemascope on the projector lens. You would end up with movies in a hurry. Check out this picture of a cinemascope film.

  

  Everything is distorted and can only be fixed by projecting through a lens of anamorphic projection.

  If I knew as the output module settings and that the codec you renderings of how you try to deliver the final product, I could say for sure, but I bet that if you just dropped your main computer in a new standard model HD (cadence) as your video problem hurry would leave.

• Problem with the report and the system of axis 2d

  Hi, I'm trying to write a script with tiara, who wrote a 2d axis system in the report but I'm having a lot of problems with it.

  What I'm trying to do, is make 3 or more system axis 2d in the report, each displaying a part of the data of 2 channels (x = ch0, ch1 = y).

  With only 1 graphic I get what I want, but when I try to add the 2nd or the 3rd, they show without my defined x-scale and with the offset x different from the first chart.

  I tried everything, but I could not remedy

  I added as attachments the .csv file that I use to ch0 and ch1 and 2 screen shoots "what I get" (about the problem with the script) and "what I hope to get" (done manually, is what I'm trying to get the report)

  Here is an edited version of your code that works on my computer.  A problem that I know that I fixed it was that your presentation of the STATE was in the name-oriented mode but you use the variables based on the number to assign it X and Y channels.  The execution of these commands in a loop FOR makes it much easier to debug the code and to avoid any annoyance at first.

  CHKDSK examines the disk space and use of the disk for the table of allocation of files (FAT) and NTFS file systems. CHKDSK provides information specific to each file system in a situation report. The report shows the errors found in the file system. If you run chkdsk without the /f on an active partition command line option, it can report errors because it cannot lock the drive. You should use chkdsk occasionally on each disk to check for errors.

  If you run chkdsk from a command prompt while Windows is running, it can report errors or it may not report errors - and it may report different
  Errors each time you run.  If this is the case, it could just be the way you run chkdsk.

  Here's how Microsoft explains this observation:

  "... CHKDSK may report that the disc is damaged, even when there is no
  current real corruption. This can happen if NTFS happens to modify
  areas of the disc on behalf of some programme activities that CHKDSK is
  review at the same time. To check a volume correctly, the volume
  must be in a static state, and the only way to ensure that the State is
  to lock the volume. CHKDSK only locks the volume when /F or/r (which
  involves the 'F') is specified. For example, you may need to run CHKDSK more than
  time so that it can complete all the steps in read-only mode. »

  If you run chkdsk from a command prompt, you are not the necessary static state and you can encounter errors "when no real corruption is present. This is how it works when you use this way.  Any changes made to a NTFS file system modifies the USN Journal.  If you are not in a static state, your USN change Journal probably all the time, so what you see (says something like that) can be quite normal.

  Two ways to ensure that you are in a static state is to run chkdsk from the Recovery Console or to schedule a chkdsk to run the next time that the system
  Restart by answering Yes to the question:

  Would you want to check this volume to be the next time the system restarts?

  If chkdsk reports errors when running in a static state, the errors should be investigated, resolved or explained.  This may take several
  chkdsk runs all of the issues and some problems cannot be resolved by chkdsk.

  If chkdsk runs the next time the system is restarted, the activity and the result will be displayed in the application event log.  Look in the Application log for
  Winlogon events and a source have the date and the duration nearby time chkdsk.

  It is in fact a chkdsk additional reading if you want to learn about it and it will explain everything you see and why your expectations exceed reality.

  I recommend you to disable the auto reboot system error (this option prevents Windows to reboot automatically if a Windows error to fail) of the startup options safe mode to know the exact error message or error code originally this problem.

• OfficeJet 6600 - reports HP Connect "problem with the printer.

  I just bought an all-in-one OfficeJet 6600 and immediately installed on my MacBook Pro. Installation went smoothly, and I used it for scanning and printing. I am very happy. However, I noticed that HP Connect reports "Issue with printer." Well, it worked fine, so I ignored the error and continued to work.

  Tonight, I have installed the printer on a Windows 7 laptop. At HP Connect, it is always now reports "Problem with printer." That's it - no further details and no symptoms of any kind of problem. How to diagnose the 'problem' and how to fix it?

  Hi there, I know this may seem illogical, but I wouldn't worry too much about the problem with the printer State message in connected HP. I saw myself sometimes, and I was able to print successfully from a mobile device to the printer which connected HP indicated that there is a problem. Have you tried to send a job by using either the application mobile ePrint or to the e-mail address of printers for the printer in question?

  On the Windows 7 machine, you can also download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor to confirm there is no problem with the connection to the computer on which is installed the software of the printer or the printer hardware. Be aware, however, that the application is compatible with the Windows operating system only, so you cannot run it on the Mac computer, but unless you are having problems printing from Mac to the printer, there is no reason to suspect that anything is wrong.
