Problem with Safari

Whenever I use Safari (including YouTube) and opening pages, or even just scrolling of text or pages, Safari stops working. I can't click anywhere, I can't close the window, I can not CLICK at ALL! Do I have to do, therefore, is to right click on the safari icon, press "Quit". Then relaunch the application (losing all my windows) to make it work again. It happened more then 10 times in the last hour! While Safari is blocked, all other applications work without any problem. I type with Safari now, I'd be happy if I can get at the end of this post!

Some Web pages I visit every day is more responsible (I get the message that the page needs to be recharged because she failed the first time, but this does not work then either). This problem started just after the last update. Does anyone else have this problem? What I have to go back to the previous version or can I fix this problem?

If you have problems to open Web pages, take a look at these techniques proposed by Apple of troubleshooting.

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204098

Go to the Safari menu (at the top right of your screen next to the Apple icon), choose 'Quit Safari'

Press the "Shift" key and while holding this button on your unique keyboard, click the icon of Safari on your Dock.

Open Safari - Preferences - Privacy - data to remove any Web site.

Open the menu to go with the Option (Alt) key - library - key locate Safari folder and place it on your desktop. Restart your Mac, open Safari and delete the file from your desktop.

    Also, try the following steps:

    Restart your Mac.

    Try to start:

    -Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once your Mac boot, restart dhcpd as you usually do.

If this does not help, follow the instructions below:

    -Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once you see office, start a scan Disk Utility to detect and repair file system errors (remember to choose your primary hard drive)

-Click on the disc to check, then, if requested to solve the problems on the repair disk

-After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

-Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

    I hope this helps!

  • Many problems with Safari

I have several problems with Safari:

-It shows the URL/website address twice (side by side). Let's say the line below is my address bar:

    www.Apple.com www.apple.com

And if it's a long URL, you can not read more because it's a URL on top of the other/same URL (so they are overlapping)

-Even if I open new tabs, it will not show the underside of the bar and I have to close all other tabs to access a specific tab

-I can't type something into the address bar and have it redirect me to google

-When I get a letter now, it suggests not only all used frequently sites more

-Quite often I can't even enter anything in the address bar

I also closed and reopened Safari, rebooted my Mac and deleted the history, cookies and caches.

    Can someone help me?

  • Problems with Safari

I have an iPhone of Apple 6s.  9.3.5 iOS operating system.  I looked into Safari and clicked on a Web site.  Immediately a page came saying "alert Apple, Safari crashed" and then immediately taking me to an email as I would send saying I had to call a number, that I've not found on any of the websites Apple officials.  The message also says my credit card and bank information was at risk.  I had on my laptop that I am unable to do anything with safari on my iPhone now.    I tried to call Apple's Support on the legitimate Web site but didn't know that they don't open until 07:00 in the morning.  I have tried to go through Apple's online chat, but keep just have been brought back to a message saying that I need to call or put to have someone call me.  If someone has had this problem and how it was resolved?  I shut my phone down and back several times, but nothing has changed.   For any info or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

I tried to charge the ipad, but the problem still happens

I met the same problem. It is very annoying as the phenomenon makes navigation nearly impossible. Does anyone know if the technical staff of Apple is aware of this and make measures to repair? It's my first time to experience such a problem with IOS so please forgive my lack of knowledge.

  • New update 10.11.3 is at the origin of the problems with safari and other browsers on some sites.

Download and run Etrecheck.  Copy and paste the results in your response. • The response of the cmd + 0 does not work. Is a problem with Safari or Opera or Mac Mail :)

Try harder. But don't feel put out. The Mac never falls down. I have used them for decades and prefer the Mac. But I fell it twice before last weekend. Try to load Imaging Neuroscience with Matlab Run Time software. At the Apple machine. Nice guy, Henry. Could not diagnose the problem. Did a clean install. Migrated to OS X10.10. Do not like. I always have problems with the machine. But I love the machine. I hate using my machine BACK. Next to neuroscience, software that I use is an open software and UNIX oriented that meets the very good command line. A large part of the software is not ready pour.10 big but worked sur.9. Well, that is until the breaks down. Of the accident, well is the lesson for me, if you crash, debugging and do not go on to the next task until you have solved. Work with Apple with the report of accident in front of you.

You know, in the part of Oscar Wilde, the Importance of being consistent, he tells Lady Bracknell that he lost both his parents. "For losing a parent can be regarded as a misfortune." But lost both parents statement of negligence. "Yes, two accidents. Shame on me.

Well, we have all learned, don't we?

Great to have this forum, however. Yay! Snoop by clicking his heels in glee.

Instead of a completely clean reinstall, consider trying a drink first. It will at least save your bookmarks and passwords that you may be saved. This article has more information: Refresh Firefox – reset settings and Add-ons.

If you really want to divert your existing settings, you can use the Profile Manager to start a new settings file. This article has the info on it: use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox. I suggest NOT to delete your old profile immediately in case you realize is there irreplaceable data.

  • Problems with Safari since update

My son updated to OS X El Capitan, last week and since then, I have major issues with Safari. Safari works very well for about 5 minutes and then it stops just respond or takes forever. So annoyed. If anyone knows how help I would appreciate. Is there a way to downgrade to OS X Yosemite?

If you have a TM backup before you upgraded, you can restore from, if not backup your computer and reinstall Yosemite.

For Safari, turn off all the extensions you can have and test. You can also boot mode safe and test.

  • Problem with safari loading

Hello. I was searching on the web and I don't know how, but I could not load other pages.

The problem is: my site camputer will complete but after that show noting loading. Only a blank page.

so I opened firefox on mac, but still noting rest then my camputer but has changed and after that I stopped and reset and then reset smc, finally, I ran disk utility and no thing changed.

I have to say two things:

some sites like google or wiki will open but page even apple is not.

I can't open all the pages with windows and iphone so no problem with the network.

    Thank you for helping me

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

  • The problem with Safari.

    Hello

Sorry for my English (I'm Polish)

they have not found a solution to my problem and I'd be hard pressed to describe precisely to throw a movie describing the problem.

Namely, when I turn Safari on my dock Safari disappears and the bar settings at the top. I can't change the settings of Safari, I have no option to minimize the browser.

The dock bar and comes when I click on the free field office.

    Feature film presented with a problem-> https://youtu.be/2p2sXrPq86A

Can someone tell me how to change it, to make it like before?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Concerning

The Safari menu bar looks like Safari is in the Mode full screen (no yellow button and the menu of the Finder and the Dock disappear), but the application does not have the entire screen. Never seen that before...

    A few suggestions:

    1. click on the green button several times.

    2. check your display settings to confirm your ID to monitor using the native screen resolution;

    3. restart your computer in Mode safe.

    DAJ znać co się dzieje.

    ------

Start the Mac in Safe Boot mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system does a lot of cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.
