Problem with satellite Pro L300 Ethernet controller

Hello

I have a Satellite Pro L300 (PSLB9A - 02L 001). Have'nt after being on the dial for the year last I was wireless (it worked well before that) but am now back on broadband but I don't seem to have any wireless.
Checked the Device Manager and there is a yellow exclamation next to the ethernet controller and it seems there is no pilot, but apart from that, there is no further details. I tried to update the driver but it cannot find the driver on my computer and it will not search the Internet for this.

I tried, but none of the drivers I downloaded seems to work...
At the back of the computer laptop is a sticker - PA3613U-1MPC, I think it's the wifi card that is missing the driver but I can't find a driver for it for the life of me...

Any help would be wonderful.

You are right. This part number is WLAN Card. I put t know what operating system you use but for download driver Atheros http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads WLAN

I hope this will help.

What is now with LAN driver? Do you need it too?
In any case, visit the Toshiba support page under http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/download and there you should find good LAN driver for your model of laptop.

    Hello

We have a problem with our old ' mobile unit Satellite l300-pslb1e-165system 02200hru»
After a while, we had to reinstall Windows XP. The software of the laptop, we lost. We took all the drivers on the Toshiba site.

Unfortunately, the laptop has a problem with Wi - Fi. The connection will be interrupted from time to time and you will need to restart your computer to connect to it again.
It is possible that it is half an hour in line, and then you fly from the Internet, with the other laptop stays on the line is always online. Previously, as old as windows, it was not the problem.
    We took a Realtek driver.

Can someone tell me why the computer has problems with WiFi? Is this the wrong driver? If so, how can I know which drivers can fix?

Thank you and best regards Hokage.

Satellite L300-165 was delivered with Windows XP original home edition recovery disk.

  • Problem with Satellite Pro 4200 series USB (4270)

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my usb port, it doesn't seem to work properly. I did an update of the Bios, which solves nothing. I changed the drivers (Windows 2000 Professional service pack 4) which did nothing either. Plug-and-play does not activate even when I plug something into the usb port. At first I thought that maybe the USB has been damaged, but when I plug my webcam, it lights up briefly, and since it is powered from the usb, I hope this means that the usb port still works. I tried to plug in scanner m, my printer and my camera, with all the different drivers, with which they came. Nothing works. Windows 2000 displays not all conflicts with all the drivers. I've also disabled in BIOS, all other ports (LPT1 COM1 COM2) using the IRQ11. What could be a solution to this problem?

    Hello

Well, as far as know that the operating system is unable to recognize the devices if the external USB device needs more power than the USB port provides. In this case, the USB devices must have an external power supply.
In addition, try to remove the USB port on the Device Manager and restart the operating system.
After the restart of the operating system should recognize the USB ports. Maybe this procedure solves the strange USB problem.

Please let me know if it works.

    Good bye

  • Satellite Pro A10: Ethernet controller is not installed

I reinstalled windows xp on my laptop, but the ethernet controller does not appear to be installed to a shortage of pilots. I searched the download section and it doesn't seem to be any available for download A10 ethernet controller drivers.

    Someone help please?

    Hello

First Ethernet controller is the same as a LAN = controller you need a LAN driver or / and more driver WLan.
Visit the page of the Toshiba driver and you will find the necessary drivers.

PS: I checked this site and have found these drivers.

  • With Satellite Pro L300 wireless issues

    Hello

I recently install a new wireless network and a new laptop.

The wireless access Point is a Netgear WG102.

Wireless laptop card is a Realtek RTL8187B.

    OS: Windows XP SP3.

Everything connected correctly the first time and was allowed for the first days but it has stopped working. When the laptop was switched on it would not automatically connect to the access point.

When I opened the Windows wireless configuration utility it told me that there are no wireless networks in range. It was not true that there is a non-Toshiba laptop in the same room connected to the access point at full power and never had any problems.

As a matter of course, I updated the firmware on the router and updated the drivers on the laptop at the latest.

Realtek drivers came from their site:

    [http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=1&PFid=1&Level=6& Conn = 5 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = true #R TL8187B]

I've even updated the Bios later and the problem still occurs and intermittently - still sometimes, when it starts it will connect, others he used.

When he used - Windows cannot disable or remove from Device Manager and crashes when you perform a reboot - it of like the unit is not an answer and causing Windows problems.

I couldn't find anything specific to the event opens a session on the issue.

I think to do a guarantee ask for it.

    Any suggestions would be welcome

    Thank you

    Dave.

    Hello

I would like to start with your last sentence. Warranty claim it is very interesting. Can you please tell me something first: you have Windows XP edition SP3 family of Toshiba recovery image or you have installed Windows XP SP2 home edition on your own? If you install on your own how you can make a claim under warranty. I'm sure that there is a problem with SP3. I always use SP2 and my laptop works well. Security features in Sp3 are not known to me, but I recommend you to check all the WLAN settings. Perhaps there is a new option that must be activated.

I assume that your laptop comes with Vista OS. Am I right about that? Have you noticed the same problem with Vista preinstalled running?

  • Starting problems with Satellite Pro M40 running Windows XP SP2

The computer suddenly shuts off when I was with her. I turned back on it and all I get now is a screen that apologize for any inconvenience and telling me that Windows is not started successfully, with options to start IE in their different ways.

Trunk / normal etc. I tried them all without success, if anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.

    Hello

    > Safe/normal etc. I tried, without success,
Because of your statement in the first post, I guess that the laptop does not start correctly and you can not access the windows.
In this case, I recommend simpler OS reinstall from the recovery CD.

If this procedure fails, the malfunction of equipment is possible in such cases, it is not easy to say what could be wrong.
But we should concentrate on the memory and HARD drive
However, if you have n t own resources for troubleshooting I recommend to contact a technician for additional help.

    Good luck

The LAN card must come from Realtek 10/100 Mbps

    Hello.

XP and Seven is installed in dual-boot on my laptop and I use EasyBCD to choose which system I want to start.

To start XP, I need to enable "Compatibility" (Controller SATA in BIOS mode) and seven is "AHCI" must be activated.

Is there a way for my two OS was started without making changes in the bios?
Y at - it an update to correct this problem (or alternative)?

    Thank you in advance.
    Marc

Yes you can do it but I'm afraid, you must reinstall Windows XP Home edition m.
Why? Because before beginning to install Windows XP Home edition, you must change it to AHCI mode, launch the installation of Windows XP Home edition and before you start you need to load the SATA driver (via F6 I think).

Long time ago, we have discussed a lot about this on this forum then use the advanced search anc check options other postings on this subject.

  • Satellite Pro L300 - no sound with Win7 64

I have the laptop according to:

    [Satellite Pro L300-1AF | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?PRODUCT_ID=1058007&DISC _topSpeed = 1 & service = UK]

I installed Win7 on the laptop, and now I can't get any sound. When you set the volume control, the level display changes on the operating system, so I guess everything is ok with the connections. I tried many different drivers, including the currently recommended drivers, as well as all the previous pilots (including drivers for different versions of the VICTORY, as suggested on some forums) after many hours trying to solve the problem, nothing seems to work.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Hello

This means that the sound card is properly installed in Device Manager and you don t have no yellow exclamation?

Perhaps portable speakers are silent. Simply press the combination of keys FN + ESC enable/disable sound.
