Problem with the blackBerry Smartphones SMS Inbox

I had problems with my Blackberry Torch 9860 sms Inbox.  The time and date that are on my phone are correct, but when I go to my sms Inbox, the date is showing that "May 22, 2043" and each message arrives at "12:08" no matter what time it really is.

This is an easy fix?

I ended up remove all the messages of this 'day', so he would not appear in the Inbox and now when I send or receive that he puts the messages in the right time.

I have nothing else it seemed to have settled himself.

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  • Problems with unlocking blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello, I have problems with my Blackberry Storm (Verizon). I got an unlock code and followed the instructions correctly, and he said that the code has been accepted. I put in my China Mobile SIM card, and sometimes it will fit and work properly (at the top and 'edge' under the signal bars, said CHINA MOBILE), other times it won't (go see just travelling triangle and '1 X' under the signal bars).     and

    Edge is GSM

    If you pass (correctly or incorrectly) in both directions between the signals. IN the management of connections > Mobile network > network technology, you can choose one or the other, why not try only GSM or 1XEV for awhile and see how it locked to one or the other.

  • Problem with Twitter blackBerry Smartphones

    I had a problem with the ' @' tab on twitter for 2 days now. I tried several battery grips and you have re-downloaded App World, but nothing helped.

    The ' @' tab will not come at all, as I can't type to see all the interactions/mentions, the icon is there, but nothing happens.

    I was wondering if anyone knows a fix, or even has the same problem?

    Update: this fixed my issue. Logout you wait two minutes or 5, then reconnect you to Twitter. Once connected, press the Menu button then press Refresh and should be able to see the interactions/mentions!

    You may encounter problems because BBM7 is currently not available for the India. So to install BBM6.2 try this:

    On your home screen to go to Options > Device Application Management > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

    After you restart your BlackBerry browser, navigate to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=bbm6 and download BBM 6.2

    Please go to Options > device > advanced system settings > default Services.  Make sure you that the calendar and e-mail e-mail addresses are the same as your Outlook email address, then try again the synchronization.

    My problem is with the composition of a number.  some local numbers when I wrote, I get the message 'the customer is not available.  When delete the number in the phone book and direct line as it passes through.  When I installed my SIM to another phone without problem.

    It could be one of the two solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own code to the Dialer phone screen > Options > smart dialing.
    Set your country Code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.
