Problem with the Microsoft wireless keyboard.

G ' Day in the community.

I have a new Microsoft wireless keyboard with lots of keys that I do not use Windows 8.1.

Is it possible for me a key or keys to print/type a sentence like my email address so that I don't have a program

the key it whenever this is necessary?

I'm sorry that I don't have, I don't use such programs.  I can tell you that AHK is safe, many experts and pros, including those from Microsoft to use it.  I don't know why Norton he scored. He could score all the EXE.

G ' Day Shawn,.

I tried to re-download AHK and have borne fruit.  (Could be from another site)

It is now current OK but I can't make a simple impression of my e-mail address. The program seems to be made for the work of very complex program.

You can refer me to someone who may be able to help me. I think I'm very close.

Thanks Brian

  • problem with the Microsoft remote keyboard configuration

Hi, I just bought Microsoft for XP remote keyboard. I just realized that my computer has a version of Windows Vista (SP2).

I followed the direction of the guide, to download the update to Media Center and failed.

(It is said, I need to install "update rollup 1 for eHome Infrared Receiver for Windows XP Media Center Edition", but it does not work!)

Is it because my computer is running Windows Vista? or do I need to review the various processes to install it.

Yes, it is specific to Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

You don't need this update. If you have a 32-bit version of Windows Vista so I guess it will work. Restart and plug unplug the keyboard. Let the OS to search for the keyboard.

  • Problem with the Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter

    Hello

It's been days trying to get my computer, a Dell Inspiron 1721 on Vista, working with the Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter. There are no instructions to come with the adapter because it was said to be very easy to use, that well is not for me...

The adapter works via Bluetooth. I can connect to it, but then it doesn't work simply. The adapter is supposed to get a green light when it is synchronized with the computer, but he gets only a flashing green, then turns off. The adapter works as I have tried with a smartphone and it was so easy to do.

Apparently something to do with A2DP, which does not have Vista. (I'm not an expert, I just repeat what I read on the forums...). If Yes, where can I find?

Any help is welcome because I am completely lost on this one.

    Thanks adavance

    chikito11n
There is no instructions to come with the adapter

You can find the instructions on the Logitech support page. On the left side of this page is a link to the Getting Started Guide pdf which is the instructions.

    chikito11n
I can connect to it, but then it doesn't work simply. The adapter is supposed to get a green light when it is synchronized with the computer, but he gets only a flashing green, then turns off.

The flashing green light means it tries to connect and pair, so it can not connect, or it can be connected, but not being able to pair.

First of all, make sure your laptop is equipped with a bluetooth adapter.

Then, make sure you have the latest bluetooth driver. Go to the Inspiron 1721 downloads page. In the drop-down list, select Vista. Expand the network category. Find your bluetooth adapter driver and install it if it is newer than your current driver. (These drivers are from 2007, then you probably already have the most recent).

As the Getting Started Guide Logitech says "refer to the documentation that came with your device for pairing instructions. Dell does not provide these instructions, but they are available on the Microsoft website. However, page this guy has the instructions and screenshots and it is easier to follow than Microsoft. It also explains how to determine whether or not you have a bluetooth adapter and how to configure it to connect to a bluetooth device, then explains how pair or sync in Vista.

Note that if you enter an access code in the Bluetooth Setup Wizard, the Getting Started Guide says to enter 0000.

  • Problem with the Microsoft Lifecam VX-1000

I have problems with the video quality of the webcam, it is very slow with the delayed and blurry motion. The problem seems to be that on the window of parameters of that bandwidth usb is at least (1) and will not be changed.

I managed to operate only once by trial and error and plug the cam into a different usb port and the cam worked correctly with a fast refresh picture, also the usb bandwidth went up to 6.

I downloaded the latest version of the software for this cam but the problem persists, it seems very unstable and crashes easily. I use vista family premium fully updated and all the rest works fine.

Someone at - it ideas of what could be the cause?

    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for your reply, I found that the USB bandwidth seems to be limited on the 1 port, which is part of a panel of memory on my pc card reader. I now use one of the USB ports on the main case for the cam and the bandwidth is only showing 6 and giving a normal pace.

Also changed the ring on cam for a sharper image.

I use the latest version of the CAM software and video card drivers.

After watching in msconfig I found that she was set to selective startup, which i have now changed start normal, although this does not seem to have changed anything, everything works ok as before.

    Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards

  • problem with the mouse and keyboard and windows update does not work

Since last week to start the computer, I get an error message that the mouse and keyboard functions do not work. He then seeks the errors and then indicates that the service restarts. I want to fix this problem and according to Microsoft hardware, I should download "mkc.msi", which is missing from my computer, but when I do a search for a download, it always automatically directs me to the section "community". How can I correct this problem and get the appropriate download? I use Windows Pro 64 bit with IE 11 on an Acer laptop. I have the Acer site but it was a great help. Also, for the last 6 months, I could not update my computer windows update feature does not work and no error code is presented. I tried everything to restore or re-download the windows update feature, but nothing works, or I can't find a source. I got a blue screen 3 times indicating that windows must be updated and has been the reason for the blue screen. Unfortunately, I don't have a Windows 7 reinstall drive when restarting it spilled about 85 MG of data but not identify what has been dumped. Of course I could use help on this major problem as well even if it cannot be in the category correct community.

  • Problems with the Thinkpad E560 keyboard/keypad and mouse mats

I bought my Thinkpad around time of December-January, and since there has been some recurring problems.

On the one hand, with the keyboard, sometimes some of the keys stick: say I'm going to hold the S key and then release, sometimes it keeps acting as if he is still in detention. In addition, the entire keypad has stopped working; at this time last week, it worked perfectly fine, I used to use the calculator, lock the buttons on the internet Explorer and file at the top of the key all the time, but one day they just stopped working. The numbers themselves, as well as the NumLock key and others, also do not work. I tried to reboot, perform analysis, installation of the drivers and all sorts, but without success.

Finally, with the mouse pad, sometimes sections of it will stop working. As I type this, I can use the right side of my mousepad to move the mouse, but the left side does not work. Sometimes it will change, with the center of the mouse pad does not, while the very right and left mouse do. Usually reinstalling a driver or reboot the computer solves this problem, but it keeps happening and is very frustrating.

This laptop is a few months old only, I'm not too happy with the problems that keep popping up, and I hope that someone can be useful!

    Thank you

  • Problems with the Microsoft updates do not install it.

I have a new laptop HP DV6 with Windows 7.  I also have protection of Norton 360 on this machine, as well as the Microsoft Office 2010 beta on this computer.  From the beginning to use the new system, I receive regular automatic update of Windows to download updates; which I host regularly.  The next day, I installed Office 2010 - beta, I got two reviews of next update:

    1. Update for Microsoft Office 2010 file Validation - beta (KB976133), 32-bit expansion
    2 update for Microsoft Works 9 (KB967044)

The problem I'm having is that when I try to install these updates, I get the following error message for downloads once they do not install:

CODE 646 Windows update encountered an unknown error.

None of the available online or troubleshooting fixes seem to work, and automatic update of Windows continues to find and warn me about updates to these 2.  The same problem occurs whenever I try to install downloads.

Tonight, I got 2 other notice of update as well as the 2 that will not be installed; at the present time, all other updates seems to install just fine. For (at least) one of these updates of the problem seems to be a security update, my system runs into a problem installing them because of the software Norton 360?  Any help you can give me to get these updates installed or quit appearing through Windows automatic updates?
