  I love my BB and recently upgraded to the latest version of the desktop management software. This all sounds good and is visually very significant improvements... but the Media Sync feature unusable.

  I'm not particularly fond of the new way of media sync (comes with Desktop Software 6) with your phone. Where the hell is Roxio Media Manager? This new method is not enough and downright unusable. I will now add media to my phone using my BB as a flash drive. How do you manage what's on your phone and who decided that this way to 'sync' is the best way to move forward?

  Can I come on down to Desktop Manager version 5? This is somehow horrible, HORRIBLE to get media on your phone.

  I fully agree with your statements. Aparently, it's the way RIM wants manipulate us our media and contacted simply indicate that it is the designed functionality.

  I guess with all the negative comments they get, they will send an update that offers more flexibility, including bringing the ability to manipulate media files that are encrypted.

  You can return to 5.0.1 in 6.0 unistalling then reinstalling 5.0.1. The software is easily available in the support section of the Web site.

  Is apparently is a problem of Google Chrome browser.  There is no problem in Firefox.  BC said they are working on a solution.

  Try this: unchecking the checkbox in Preferences > Performance > graphics processor use, then by restarting Photoshop. If this solves the problem, check with the manufacturer about a possible update.

• AF:dialog cancel the problem on the new line of VO

  I have an af:popup that contains an af:dialog which itself contains entrable components mapped to attributes of VO, the first being an af:selectOneChoice (list of the part of the body). The list of the part of the body draws from a LOV configuration on the underlying VO attribute. LOV rowset is initialized in the model of the line layer whenever the popup is called to make sure that it contains all the allowed values.
  
  Everything works fine except when:
  
  (a) user adds a new row to the underlying VO and invokes the popup to initialize the values of the new line, and
  (b) the user selects a value in a list of the part of the body, and
  (c) user chooses to cancel the dialog box
  
  The PopupCanceledEvent triggers a Delete on the underlying VO in the case above operation, to remove the new line has been added.
  
  It all works very well, but if the dialog box is now called either for another new line or an existing line, the list of the part of the body indicates the value that has been selected to b) above and not on the value as it is in line with model (this has been verified). If I add and remove line using the Delete operation out of an icon above the table of VO (outside), then no problem. The problem is not correct itself unless / until the user goes in the new dialog box and completes the process of adding line by pressing the button of the OK dialog box. User can then delete this new line using the icon and then edit and add all operations work fine again.
  
  All about the model seems very well, the problem seems to be that the user interface components in the dialog box are not properly initialize values which I know to be in the model WHEN AND ONLY WHEN the dialog box was canceled on the addition of a new line (cancellation of a change does not cause the problem). I tried various RPP requests to try to synchronize the items with related values, but not luck.

  OK, I understand the question. Make sure that you have switched on your source patchers for your clip in the timeline panel. This is the left column of the marked buttons V1, V2, A1, A2, and so on. When you have a loaded clip in the Source monitor, you can enable or disable certain portions of the clip to be edited or not edited in a sequence. In your case, A1 is probably gray or off. Click on it to activate it, and you should be able to add audio to the sequence.

• Internet Explorer problems in the new site and product views

  Well, I'm stumped.

  We just launched a redesign of a site (www.geniefilters.com) and I am getting a strange vision of our product catalogue displaying in Internet Explorer on a PC. (The site was created on a Mac, with a site of BC model).

  Products display in 3 columns, but in IE, only the left column shows... and no, the elements are not forced down in a single line. Show only products that would normally appear in this column. Article 1, point 4, 7, 10, etc...

  The catalog was created in module purchases in Colombia-British models and seems very well seen on a Mac. It works as well on a PC, using Google Chrome or Firefox.

  I couldn't someone else to watch the pages and let me know if they identify a problem? Or is there a problem with IE, that I'm not aware?

  The use of the debugger in IE9, stop table.productTable td {width: 100 %} in ModuleStyleSheets.css makes appear them - IE is not allowing you to have 3 columns of the table at width of 100%.}

• Printing problems using the new premium photo paper more HP

  Unable to get the recent HP Premium Plus photo paper to print in my Photosmart always reliable 4780... tried to print using today our new of OfficeJet Pro 8600 and it would print in it either. This paper feels very different to me, and it seems that the paper is too smooth to be taken over by the printer. Ideas?

• Problems installing the new hard drive OSX iMac G5 A1076

  I have an Imac G5 A1076 model who needed a new hard drive

  The hard drive for now I can not install the OS!

  I formatted the hard drive using transmac on my Win 7 pc (since I don't have access to another mac)

  I also bought the 10.3 disk 3 cd OSX Install discs.

  When I put disc 1 in hold C and start the IMAC I get a gray screen with a gray circle with a line through it.

  Maybe I was reading that this is caused by installing is not the correct OSX?  I looked on everymac.com and found that it was originally shipped with os x 10.3.5

  do I need to get a drive to 10.3.5?  He will tell 10.3.5 the disk?  my 10.3 that I bought new in the box never open just says 10.3.

  Well Chrome is a good browser.

   After you closed Firefox and ran the update, it then should have finished and opened the default browser to the Adobe web site that has a spinning box, this will say you are up to date. Did this happen for you.
   If so then I would check Windows list of installed program and see if you have flash and see if that date corresponds with the day you updated. The version number should be 10.3.183.7
  

• Network problem on the new VM of P2V

  Hello. I have converted a Win 2000 Server in a two-step process. First of all using old 3.0.3 converter to convert physical Win 2000 server to the vmdk files and then used vConverter Standalone 4.0.1 to convert these files in vm in ESXi host.

  The server is ok and I have installed VMware tools, but Windows does not have an ethernet adapter. If I go to Device Manager I see the NIC "VMware Accelerated AMD PCNet Adapter" listed, but when I do an ipconfig without ethernet card is listed.

  When I go to Setup ESXi... Networking, I can see my new VM under vSwitch0 and network of the VM. I'm new to VMware and I was hoping someone could help me fix that I'm not sure what to do next. Thanks in advance.

  I would actually try to remove the "accelerated AMD PCNet Adapter" in the Device Manager and then perform a new analysis or restart. If this is not enough, you can change the settings of the virtual machine and switch to a network adapter 'E1000 '. This should be recognised by Windows 2000 "out of the box.
