Problem with the upgrade to version 37.0.1 - update just "hangs".

I am currently in Firefox 36.0.4 on a Windows 7 Pro computer. I tried twice to move to Firefox 37.0.1 WITHOUT success. The T500 has only two slots of RAM, so the upgrade to 8 GB would mean that your two existing 2 GB modules would need to be removed.

No need to create the folder anywhere, not extracted from the apex_5.0.zip to the D drive. The actual path would be D:\apex\images.

On the command line go to the D:\apex and connect to the SYS user with SYSDBA privilege. Then type the following command:
