  Hi, I am in Australia and have a 64-bit HP DV7.  I did the upgrade request form, but when I put the model number in, it automatically selects the family window 32-bit premium - the problem is, it is grayed out and won't let me change to 64 - bit...   I tried to get 10 Windows on my 4540 s Probook and it downloads very well.  Then, it checks the software on the computer and find a program that is not compatible and says that I have to uninstall it will continue.  I uninstall it but want to be sure I'm noy going to cause more problems in doing this.  The program he doesn't like is the tools of HP software, it includes scanning biometric and other.  It would be prudent to uninstall these or should I wait to see if there is a work around for this problem.

  Gerry, thanks for your post. I have the same problem as Joachim started this thread. I am running Windows 7 sp1. I have a Dell computer and it's certainly a legitimate copy of Windows (confirmed computer 'properties' and it is enabled).

  By your post, I saw just to update and the KB3004394 (installed on 12/10/2014) and KB3024777 (installed on 12/12/2014) show as comfortable. I usually leave the Windows download updates automatically and I install them to stop. I watched the second update and according to Microsoft.com:

  The KB 3004394 update which was dated December 10, 2014 can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer.

  My problem is, as of today 14/12/2014, I still get the pop up "this computer is running not windows genuine', even with KB3024777 installed.

  Click on run as administrator

  At the command prompt, type the following commands:

  slmgr.vbs - ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (to replace the specified in the current product key)

  Recently upgraded iTunes to version 12.4.1 and now my older iPod (a classic and a Nano) will not be synchronized.  New devices (iPhone, iPod Touch etc.) seem to be good, but older devices show as 'corrupt' attempts to restore the iPod do not seem to work, and now music has been deleted during the restore process, in my opinion, it is a problem with the new update running on Windows 10.  I installed iTunes 12.4.1 on a Win7 machine and two older iPods have been recognized and synchronized well - isn't the device - still on the machine Win10 it still shows up as damaged files no matter how many resets / reboots etc I do... someone else has this problem?  Yet all the patches?

  Yes - same thing here. Windows 10 and my iPod Nano 4th generation syncs not - says it is corrupted. When I plugged on my Macbook, it was fine. Maybe we can install old version of iTunes?
