Problems of blackBerry Smartphones initialization of a 330 of SafeNet via the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader

Hello

I managed to use my PC BlackBerry smart card reader. Now, I am trying to initialize a smart card SafeNet 330 with SafeNet BSEC from the PC tool. But everything I do the initialization fails.

Has anyone been initialized properly a card in this way by the BlackBerry smart card reader?

I suspect a problem with the drive, why I'll try to find my Gemplus400 player and see if it works.

Thank you

Chris

Using the player of Gemplus400 did the trick. Looks like the BlackBerry SCR reader stumbles on the configuration of the password during initialization of the as it does not define the label successfully.

    Hi all

We try to roll an office linked Clone pool that is used by our service accounts and as such, they need to be able to use for banking smart cards. We have installed all the necessary software on the machine of model (GemSafe Gemalto) and also one of our Thin Clients (Wyse V10L or C10LE) connected to the model directly via RDP with the card reader chip attached to ensure that different drivers installed correctly and all is well, the virtual machine is able to see the smart card reader.

The problem comes when spread us these machines up to the pool, the smart card reader is not detected at all. We tried to connect from the Client light view or via RDP directly to one of the linked Clone desktops and both meet the same problem, that is, the drive is not seen at all. If we plug/unplug the drive of the Wyse terminal we see it be detected in the log of the events on the Client itself.

Can what tools or newspapers we use side view or VMware to solve this problem?

To confirm, in the settings to connect to the server by smart card authentication is set to optional. In Global political USB access is set to allowed.

If need more information please ask and I will be happy to provide it.

    Thanks in advance.

Right, we got to the bottom of it... and I am kicking myself!

There is a GPO side configuration of the active computer. Administrative Templates/Windows components/Remote Desktop Services / Remote Desktop Session Host / Device and resource Redirection - do not allow redirection of card device chip.

  • BlackBerry curve 8520 locked to smart card authentication. The phone says PIN does not and is not true.

    Hi all
I have a big problem. I'm testing my smart card pilot in a BB 8520 curve. If someone wants to work with the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader and smart card a not suported must implement a smart card driver. And wthat I did.

Everything works fine until it played some erroneous password settings results in the block of the card, and obviously I can not unlock the phone. I have

The problem is that, although I've unlocked the map etc now the phone still saying that the pin code of the card is wrong. I'm sure I'm in the well axis and the problem is not on the driver code. It's as if the phone has been collapsed and always says that the spindle is bad.

I tried many things and nothing works. I reset the phone, I deleted all the data, I reinstalled the software, everything, but I still get the locked phone.

I guess this could solve by modifying the COMPUTER policies for passwords or something like that. I don't know, I'm not just a BlackBerry user. I only do it for work.

I'm desperate. Could someone help me? Any value idea for me. I have a backup of everything, so I don't worry about what was the solution.

If you think that you should put this post in another part, please let me know.

Is attached a picture to show exactly what is happening to me. The DIF is on the PIN to the chip card. The other password its ok.

    Thank you.

    OK, I solved the problem.

I made a backbup, then I did a factory reset password bad presentation 10 times, and I have restored the backup.

I know that he's not a nice solution, but in my case was salvation!

  • Satellite M60: Problem with SD/MMC card reader

I have a Satellite M60 Series. Has been pre-installed with Windows XP Home. I have upgraded to Windows XP Pro, SP 1.
Installed all the drivers, but got an error when you try to install the Intel Chipset drivers, allways ask it lacks USB driver usbehc.sys. Another problem is that I can not read the SD/MMC card reader. In fact I reinstalled the Cardbus driver, but still I am not able to read any card about it.
I appreciate really all advice on this subject.
    Kind regards.

    Hello

Satellite M60 is newer units and I have no experience with it, but if you please check the download area of Toshiba and you will find instructions to facilities. You will see that cart drive is with cardbus driver.

I don't know if it's important, but all drivers are designed for SP2 and if you use SP1, it is possible that there is a problem because of this.

Good luck and please let me know if the installation could be successfully

  • Memory card reader problem

I have a HP Pavilion dv5-2134us running Windows 7, 64 bit.  In the past, worked the small memory card reader to the front.  It does not now.  There must be a switch somewhere in the device manager - not to conclude.  There must be some downloadable HP driver - was not found.

    1. There is absolutely no problem with the camera (s).  Same model, several units.

    2. There is absolutely no problem with the memory chips.  Down them on another laptop HP as well last night.

    3. I checked to see if pins were crooked on the card reader-not.

    What is the solution?

I need a specific link to windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit driver for the memory chip card reader.

I need a specific way to find the on/off switch in the Device Manager.

If you run the operating systems Windows 95, 98 and old, be aware that Microsoft has changed names, places and so on.  So, tell someone what has worked 5 years ago may not work today.

    Hi @bdcochran01 ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read on your HP Pavilion dv5-2134us Entertainment Notebookand of problems with a memory card or a player.  Here is a document on the memory card reader troubleshooting.

Sometimes, Windows 7 will not allow any change in the drivers here is a solution for this.

First of all, try to click on the Windows icon, type services in the start search box, and then click or tap on the advice of local Services. Scroll down to the Windows Installer. Startup type must be - automatic and the service status should be - started
Restart the computer after this stage and try to reinstall.

Here is a link to the software for the Alcor Micro Card Reader, to make sure that it is installed.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Chip driver problem, SCM Microsystems SCR331 card reader

I had a lot of problems trying to get the SCM Microsystems SCR331 work with win 7 x 64. Please see below for my other thread ad.

OK, here's the update so for and a few clarifications for purposes of t/s...

I have activclient v6.2.0 middle ware installed

    I had previously stayed at 'http://www.scmmicro.com/support_tmp/download.php?file=SCR3xxx_4.31_4.49.zip '.

and downloaded the drivers (before that I posted previously) that windows still saw as the correct driver. Also I used the windows update, that too has not "found" a correct driver. I is gone as far as manually select "Smart card reader" device and even traveled to the pilot, was pointing at the .inf file of the download off scmmicro.com/support site listed above. and took two more different (fist, it did not work) the SCR33X driver and that ' SRC3310 both do not work.»

and Yes, I've been to https://militarycac.com who helped to find the driver as well.

the card reader I have is SCM Microsystems SCR331, which is equivalent to a listed of compatibility with Win 7

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/details.aspx?type=hardware&p=SCM%20Microsystems%20SCR331%20Smart%20Card&v=SCM%20Microsystems&UID=904054&pf=0&PI=0&OS=32-bit

It is that I'm doing work, without success. unless your drivers 'C51' work with this drive, I'll try and see... (nope, even can not find "C51 drive?"). Someone else wants to take a let me know.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones 'there is a problem with Blackberry App World. Please try again. »

Whenever I try to download whatever app world or click on my world, he always says 'there is a problem with the Blackberry App World. Please try again. "I can't download apps because of this, and I have consulted with my carrier in this respect. They said I should be able to access the universe of the app by wifi since I'm subscribed to a data plan Blackberry (BBM). They don't know what to do with my problem anymore. Everything else works except the app world. Help, please. BTW, I'm trying to access the app through a mobile internet captive universe. That this has something to do with it?

    Hi trishthestranger

Please uninstall AppWorld options > device > application management.

Scroll down to BlackBerry AppWorld > delete.

or KB10040 : how to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone

Perform a restart on the BlackBerry this way: with the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, remove the battery for a min. and then reinsert the battery of waiting until it reboot.

Now, since your browser BB go to thewww.blackberry.com/appworld and install again.

After installation go to app world and see if you are able to download on a PC, you can also try to scan the barcode of this application, it will request a download link on your device. Please try it and let us know. But like I said try to download Over the Air.

  • Failure of the blackBerry Smartphones initialization?

I have just updated the OS on my Pearl 9105 after that I received an email from Blackberry, but once the phone restarted it no longer recognizes the SIM card.

I tried the technique of 'hard reset' but still no joy.  The phone and SIM card worked fine 30 minutes ago!

I'm in England and my network provider is Orange.

The software update has been v6.0.0.668, platform 6.6.0.236

    Thank you

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried the declassification of the BONE to previous versions, but still with no joy.  I tried the SIM in other phones and it still showed the same problem "initialization failed", which led me to believe that the SIM card had become corrupt.

The only solution was to get a new SIM card and update my network provider with the new SIM card number.  This solved my problem but only after that buy 2 cards SIM PAYG (1 pound each), can be said that I demanded a card SIM TREE (£15). I didn't want to wait for Orange we'll send in the post that could have been 3-4 days.

Overall, the phone now works correctly and the operating system has also been updated to v6.  The next time I update the phone I'll deffinately have a card SIM TREE of alternatives at hand.

    See you soon

  • Connection to Outlook Web - another of the problems of blackBerry Smartphones

I'm not the only user BBY desperately struggling to connect to my email via Outlook Web... that's why I have a BBY is told by the way!

I spent a lot of time with our manager network and we tried a number of combinations for the connected BBY, nothing seems to work.

Of course, my network provider (Orange EN) say that they are unable to help, it's to do with BBY.

Before I have to abandon bin and my BBY (after all these years of use of BBY) and get a more friendly user Smartphone, can someone help me solve this problem?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Here are a few things to try:

    • KB03133 How to integrate an e-mail address to Microsoft Outlook Web Access with a BlackBerry Internet Service account
    • KB18567 BlackBerry Internet Service cannot connect to an account, Microsoft Outlook Web Access using Microsoft Exchange 2007 or Microsoft Exchange 2010
    • KB04804 Error message when you try to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access 2010 account
    • KB02858 Unable to integrate an e-mail address to Microsoft Outlook Web Access with a BlackBerry Internet Service account

In addition, sometimes it's just not possible to configure via the interface for device... and your BIS carrier, from a PC/browser, Web site may be able to do so... here a partial list:

If you can't find your carriers, you would need to ask for the URL of it.

In addition, since your BB browser, you can try this url:

There are some limited circumstances where BIS cannot integrate properly in OWA... but this is usually a mismatch on the server side (for example, ISA) rather than anything else.

You can also ask your network admins to check this:

    • KB11036 Requirements of connection and firewall for the BlackBerry Internet Service

Finally, if something does not work, details will be much more useful... "nothing seems to work" provides us with nothing to diagnose any and so maybe you better frame. Step by step of what you try and exactly how each step results is always more useful. In addition, if the present error messages, the content accurate and full of people is extremely useful.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones blackBerry media card problems

My wife just got a Blackberry "BOLD".  We have a lot of trouble with it.

I bought a 4GB Kingston memory card and installed.  I'm going to settings-> Options-> memory.  I have the card Support 'On '. Encryption mode 'None. ' Mass storage Mode support "on"; Auto enable mass storage Mode... 'Yes '.  Says device "a card is not currently inserted in the device.  As far as I know, he is.  Tried it out by ensuring that it is the right way (it is), take the battery, reboot etc.

When I insert the card for the first time is any message that is supposed to appear?  Nothing has.

Nothing wrong with the media card - I can insert into my computer and copy files to it.

I find this very frustrating phone.  Part of the problem is we have a mac, but it should not affect the media card.  Because we have a mac, we are unable to download OS updates, right?  So I hope that this will not be part of the solution.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to diagnose the problem or difficulty it would be very appreciated!

    Thank you!

Thanks for the replies.  He did it here.

Unfortunately, the video link for 8830 and curve.  However, I retried card insertion and I figured out that I hadn't pushed it pretty hard.  There to snap in flush before closing the door.  Guess I was unaccustomed to the MicroSD card.  If it is inserted correctly, a message appears confirming that a multimedia card is available.

Then go to settings-> Options-> memory.  Here you can format.  Note There are no parameters-> Options-> Media Card as other BBs.

Once you have done so, you will find the appropriate options appear for example, when you use the camera, you can store the pictures from the camera or media card.

    Thanks again

  • Problem with 'Blackberry Protect' blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I have a problem with 'Blackberry Protect', I got a message telling me
"Your mobile pass does not include Blackberry Protect."

I called my provider and they told me to contact you

    I need your help please

They are wrong. Your carrier decides what data packages they offer and what is included in their packages. You will need to just talk & text or perhaps 500 MB of data without BBM, etc.. If your monthly subscription does not BlackBerry Protect, you obviously don't have the data package, you need.

    Call them to fix it.
