Problems of blackBerry Smartphones while creating an e-mail account

Hej,

in late July, I bought a BB Curve 9320. Until today, I wasn't able to create an e-mail account. A smartphone without access to e-mail. The problem is missing to create an internet e-mail account. I'm only able to set information for a business account, which I did not. In recent weeks I spent hours and hours reading manuals/blogs and watching youtube videos. I also asked my phone provider if they put in limits for internet e-mail accounts. Nothing of the sort.

I guess that the problem may be caused by our bb playbook. It works well enough. The playbook is running to a live windows account for email, contacts, and dates. When I started the 9320, I first used the same bb id that we use on the playbook.

Please help me, I'm totally frustrated. What can I do?

Sincere best wishes from Hamburg

Jan

Interesting. Call your carrier and confirm that you have the blackberry data plan associated with your account.

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones with the re-activation of account e-mail via Blackberry Enterprise server - Help!

I have a Blackberry Bold 2 e-mail accounts (personal and business). Recently, I upgraded my Vodafone contract for only part of SIM and was able to keep my old SIM card. My personal email works fine but the business Edition should be re-activated. Instructions were to validate my password via the Blackberrry using the configuration or via the browser on my computer icon. Both options have failed because of the following:

BlackBerry: received message that Blackberry Enterprise server has not responded to my request. An error has occurred. There are 5 possible reasons being given and I do not know how to rectify one of them.

Browser on my computer: Incorrect ID or password. Made several attempts with different entries (don't know if my ID is my e-mail address and password for that or my Blackberry).

Can anyone suggest how I can do this move? Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I think you need to talk to Vodafone to ensure that your data plan still includes services / BES-level... such is required for full use of BES.

You should also talk to your BES admins... they, well, all control.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones add a personal e-mail account to my BBB provided by company

    Hello

I've just been updated by my company for a BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD".  My company has set up the device to be synchronized with our Microsoft Exchange Server.  This part works perfectly.  I want to do is to add a connection to my personal gmail account.  I could go on the road to browser to access my webmail, but that wouldn't really be integrated.

I started in the process of "configure a personal e-mail account", but the installation process seems to require that I have 'sign up' for BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).  Screens to ask for me to "Create a new account" or connect to an existing account.  I tried to use my existing gmail account information, but as I suspected, that did not work.  The requested connection is a connection to BIS.

What I was asking is, would be the fact that my company already set up the phone for the service MS Exchange means that an account already exists and so I should get the info of connection on their part?  MS Exchange or a completely different beast and I need to register for a new BIS account if I want to integrate my web gmail account?

In addition, the BIS service is generally a supplement or usually included as part of the basic service?

    Man of deep space

You can take a look at the gmail for Blackberry app.

    http://www.Google.com/mobile/BlackBerry/mail.html

A problem with BES + BIS is that all the mail ends up in the same "inbox" on your device.  The gmail app keeps separate.

Please mark resolved and/or add Bravo if it helps.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot add the e-mail account on the Bold 9900, the only option in the configuration of e-mail is enterprise activation.

Security BB9900 husbands suffered for me to use, but I'm unable to set up the e-mail.

The only option is to set up the email through the activation of the company.

I have a data plan from my provider Blckberry

I tried to register it on my carriers BIS activation Web site but got the message that it cannot be done through my camera

Configuration of e-mail icon only gives the ability to configure one enable a business account

Have tried blackberry.com/integrate but I get the message "unknown error, please try again" after selecting "launch email configuration".

    Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) books of forwarding Service

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I deleted an e-mail account but the folder still appears on my home screen

I deleted an e-mail account, but the folder still appears on my home screen.  It doesn't let me delete it.  The e-mail account is no longer shows on the screen for managing Email accounts, so it should be deleted from my phone.  I tried to remove the battery, but it did not help.

Looks like the maintenance book remained. See http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/32608/Accept_or_delete_a_service_book_61... Remove the service books that corresponds to the e-mail account deleted.

  • BlackBerry smartphones need to delete e-mail accounts

I will no longer use the 8900 and need to reset the entire phone or at least erase my e-mail accounts.

Can an organization tell me how?

    Thank you

You must connect on the Web of BRI site linked to the carrier you put up with.

If you do not know your username and password, call the carrier who can give u the username and reset the password. Or they can remove all the emails and account if you wish...

To find your BlackBerry Internet Service Provider web site, go to the Support section on the BlackBerry website (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/software/internet.jsp) and click on the link of your service provider in the section access to the BlackBerry Internet Service Web site .

Go to Setup > e-mail accounts > Internet e-mail accounts > enter the user name and password (if necessary). Now, highlight the email ID you want to change, and then select change in the menu. The text under the name of e-mail as desired by you. Click Menu, and then select Save.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I have an e-mail account configured, but it does not work

I get the case for one of my email accounts based on the web, I tripple checked all the settings, but my bold 9780 will not accept my settings, its really frustrating, especailly as he worked on my different address.

advice, it's a small business e-mail that got only 4 people so we are greeted so digitalpacific.com.au but they have our own email address.

Via the BIS website, you should try so, advanced integration:

    •  KB10154 How to integrate a POP or IMAP e-mail via advanced integration account

The first section of the KB shows the method on the device, so this is the second section (for the BIS Web site) you want. In step 3, you must sometimes, faking out by providing your email address valid but password invalid... then it should return the same screen, but with the extra selection in step 5 (for the "additional settings"). If you do not know your settings, check your PC email client or check with your email service provider.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot create new email address and the password are correct

Just transferred one of my domains hosting that I use for my other domain. Went to create an e-mail account for the 3 email addresses I had the BB under prior host. Removed the old accounts. Click Setup mail accounts, then other then entered the correct address and the correct password. Received message 'invalid address or password '. Not possible I installed these accounts on my PC and my IPad with no problems. It seems that BB won't accept any new domain name account that I transferred 10 days ago, can someone help me please? Thank you!

TCC - I THANK YOU first to respond to my situation and the second to be ON - it appears that you are an expert on the RIM! That was the problem - integration. Apparently my Blackberry account 'forgotten' about my domain name and had to be reinstated. I discovered by obtaining technical support for my carrier, AT & T and when they could not understand why the e-mail accounts could not be created, they transferred me to RIM. The first level of technology was also confused, but Nick and then of the immediately higher level of tech told me exactly what you have written here - same problem, same solution. CptS, thank you!

  • BlackBerry smartphones unable to use e-mail

    Hello

I got a blackberry torch, but he has developed some problems so I returned to the store.

The store rep saved and restored my data of the torch to a curve they lent me.

After receiving the phone I couldn't receive or send emails on any of the previous emails that I had set up the torch.

I am not yet able to create new e-mail accounts or modify the 'old'.

    Really need help.

    Hello

Have you tried to reset your BBID password by following the steps above to Ko?

After the reset of password, you can use your BlackBerry browser and browse the www.blackberry.com/integrate to add / edit an e-mail message.

    Can you try that again.

  • iCloud do not let us create new e-mail account

Emails from my son of 2 years have been deleted and we contacted our provider which is extracting their server. The man said that he should take up to 24 hours. He said to check our e-mail settings (which we have not touched for many years, so nothing should change). We checked and everything is the same, but we decided to remove the e-mail account and recreate it, to nine. (There only 9 emails now, it created a folder & put them in so no worries of losing any email.)

However, iCloud isn't us leaving recreate the email account! Whenever he tries to recreate the e-mail account, it is said: "this account already exists."

Note: iCloud is disabled on his mac, but he receives her iCloud email on his iPad and iPhone.

How to re - create his e-mail account on his desk within the e-mail? Thanks for your suggestions. It is on the BONE El Capitan. (Please note that I can also post this question in another category for iCloud issues. Hope that's OK).

There is no such thing as e-mail. Now, if you say Mail that works on a Mac it is only an e-mail client designed to send and receive mail. If you just want to add a new e-mail account, and then follow the instructions:

Address postal (Yosemite): Configure Mail with your email accounts
