Problems of FTP with Dreamweaver CC v 13.0

Hello

I had several problems with DW via ftp. I use DW as it was a Macromedia product and am familiar with the server settings. etc.

The biggest problem comes from my using DW at work and also at home. Changes to the work, and then when you work at home I try to 'get' a particular folder so I have updated code, and DW fails as follows:

web/staff/Pget_data.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pget_form.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pget_table.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pinsert_new_client.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pinsert_new_participant.php - transfer

/Web/staff/pLogin.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Oinsert_new_client.php - get successful operation

/Web/staff/Ofreeassessment.php - error - year FTP error - could not get Ofreeassessment.php.   The network connection is not available. Please check and try again, action.

/Web/staff/Oget_data.php - error - year FTP error - could not get Oget_data.php.   The network connection is not available. Please check and try again, action.

/Web/staff/Plogout.php - transfer

/Web/staff/pmember.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pnew_participant_info.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Poutput_fns.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pregistration.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Pshow_form.php - transfer

/Web/staff/pStyle.CSS - transfer

/Web/staff/Pupdate_participant_info.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Ooutput_fns.php - error - year FTP error - could not get Ooutput_fns.php.   The network connection is not available. Please check and try again, action.

/Web/staff/Pfind_form.php - get successful operation

/Web/staff/Oshow_form.php - error - year FTP error - could not get Oshow_form.php.   The network connection is not available. Please check and try again, action.

/Web/staff/Oupdate_client_info.php - error - year FTP error - could not get Oupdate_client_info.php.   The network connection is not available. Please check and try again, action.

/Web/staff/PPRupdate_participant_info.php - error - year FTP error - could not get PPRupdate_participant_info.php.   The network connection is not available. Please check and try again, action.

/Web/staff/Pupdate_subset_participant_info.php - transfer

/Web/staff/Puser_fns.php - transfer

/Web/staff/PvalidateUser.php - transfer

... and so on

These errors occur with computers Mac 10.7 and 10.8 that connect to different Internet service providers, and I work with the hosting company to see if there are questions, but earlier I made a change to a file and tried to download it.  DW has failed several times.

I work with, say, entry.php, live on the site.  I want to rename my local file to entryR0 and save the file as, but does not have downloaded from the site, that at the local level, so I have to add a space or something so I can use Save, then perhaps that the file is downloaded.

I passed, that works perfectly, but I don't want to stop my workflow to use for a single file.

Any suggestions are welcome with gratitude!

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Thanks for your help.  The server has just been migrated and file transfer issues no longer exist. I left the settings that 30 second timeout and pasv FTP option.  There is no problem now trying to 'get' a large file on the new server files.

My ISP has been proactive in the migration of the server, and everything by not telling the old server was the problem, it would certainly seem the root cause.

Kind regards

I tried CuteFTP and I can upload and download without any problem at all. Is there a way I can configure the FTP of Dreamweaver to check if I have the etc good port open and someone had this problem? If you go to site settings, and then click Advanced at the top then click Remote Info. Here, you should note the FTP information. Make sure that the box for passive FTP mode is enabled and you should be good to go.

  • Problems with FTP of Dreamweaver and Yosemite [subject edited by Moderator]

(Newly) installed Dreamweaver does not recognize my server (ftp.jakkoke.com). Check the firewall (no problem), other ftp programs that work fine, old version of Dreamweaver - works but not with Mac os 10.10 Yosemite. Implemented irs.guv - new Dreamweaver communicates with this and other FTP sites very well. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. What should I do?

    Hi jekoke,

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Quit Dreamweaver runs.
    2. Go to the Spotlight (magnifying glass icon on the far right of the menu bar) and type "keychain". Locate the "Keychain Access" application, then click on to start.
    3. In Keychain Access, you should see a list of keychain items.  Look in the 'Name' column for an affected item named with the name of the Site from your site. It will look something like this: ' sitename-SiteServer 0. It will also say 'application password' in the column 'Genre '.
    4. Click the item to select. You should see a few properties of the Keychain item appears at the top of the Keychain Access window. As a double check, make sure that the value for the 'account' is the name of the FTP user.  If this isn't the case, then you can have the wrong item.
    5. Once you are happy, you have the correct item, and it is selected, press the delete key to remove it. Leave the application open for now.
    6. Start Dreamweaver, go to the "Manage Sites" dialog (Site > Manage Sites...) and modify the affected site. Click on the servers section and double-click the server in the list to edit it.
    7. Enter the FTP username and password, and then click Save to close the editing server box and click on save again to close the site box.
    8. You should now see that a new element of Keychain has been created in Keychain Access (it must have the same name).
    9. You can quit Keychain Access and Dreamweaver now and then restart Dreamweaver and check if it works now without having to re - enter the FTP details.

Please let us know if you still face problems.

  • Problems with FTP in Dreamweaver 4 connection

I hope someone can help me with the following:

Recently I can only connect to the host FTP in Dreamweaver once per day.

I have two sites defined in my Dreamweaver 4 and before I was able to connect several times a day the two don't sites - no problem.
But now he connects once and then what is trying to connect to the other set of site or maybe some time later on the first site again (where I connected on the same day already) I get the error message: "error FTP - connection to the host cannot be madet.
Basically it now always only will link every day once.

Anyone any idea what is the cause?

Thanks a lot for your help.

These issues are more often associated with your firewall. Please try
    Turn it off completely.

  • Connection with Dreamweaver 2014 SFTP problem

I have a very weird SFTP connection problem with Dreamweaver CC (2014). I'm on a Mac 10.9.4 and have no problem connecting to my server via SFTP with Dreamweaver CS 6. However, using the same exact settings on CC (2014), I get the following error: "an FTP error occurred - cannot connect to the host." Your login or password is incorrect. Please check your login information.

I'm really at a loss here. Connection from the command line works without problem.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help. I was able to understand. I have several authentication schemes enabled on my server (password, two private key factors). For some reason password authentication does not work with Dreamweaver CC (2014), but using the auth key private with password did the trick.

    Thanks for your help!

  • I can't create a new site of catalyst for business with Dreamweaver CC 2014. The error message states that Dreamweaver cannot connect with the server, try again later. How can I solve this problem?

I can't create a new site of Business Catalyst with Dreamweaver CC 2014 (Mac). The error message states that Dreamweaver cannot connect with the server, try again later. In addition, I am also unable to load remote site Business Catalyst created previously as it says that there is something wrong with my user name or password. However when I put my password and press to test the connection, he said that it has connected successfully. What is wrong and how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Thanks for the reply, however it seems to work again after I removed some unused Dreamweaver sites in the section "manage sites" in Dreamweaver.  It may have been a conflict of name or something.

  • I'm having a problem with the getting started with Dreamweaver. Help!

    [email protected]

My question is: if I brought the Creative Suite 2 Premium with Dreamweaver, do I have to buy a new (s), or get an update.

Released in 2005, CS2 is no longer supported.  Adobe is giving free copies of CS2 now away because it does not work on most modern computers.

Join the creative cloud and download CS6 DW or CC.

  • CC of Dreamweaver may have a problem with Dreamweaver CS6 compatibility?

I installed Dreamweaver CC on my laptop (Windows 7 OS).  I am able to build new web pages using the checkerboard to fluid.  But when I try to open previously designed web pages that have been built using Dreamweaver CS6, Dreamweaver CC breaks down.

I was told today in the cat, by Technical Support, it was a problem of compatibility between Dreamweaver CC and Dreamweaver CS6 (for grid of fluid).  This can be confirmed?  I have no problem to return and rebuild previously designed fluid grid of web pages.  I just want to know that there is no fix/work around available?

Problem solved.  It lacked the brace "}" involving the Media Queries page .css.  (Please see my response to Arindam_G in the Discussion 'Crash Total (CC) on the attempt of fluid to create checkerboard!').

Thanks for the help of your group.

  • Unable to connect with Dreamweaver

I can not connect to BC with Dreamweaver. I stayed on the site of BC and followed the instructions and does not connect via FTP or CUPW than elsewhere. Is my username password is wrong (it's not I double checked). I've seen a few threads here, but have not seen a transparency or a response on how they have addressed the situation of the tis. There is no firewall on so FTP is bad.DWBC.pngBCDW.png

The answer is very simple. Must DISCONNECT the crib on CC app on your desktop and then close DW and then open back up everything again. By simply closing DW you would think you are disconnected, but you are not really that you need to disconnect the creative cloud as well. Now you can go and do the recommended process and it works.
