Problems of network R61i
for some reason-the system, programs such as steam, Skype or other things that run under the system can access the internet, but a user cannot - as a web browser. I tried updating and reinstalling different drivers thereon, does not.
Note - an ethernet RJ-45 cable connection works fine - but the wireless, it has these issues.
all I can think of anything else that I can do is to reinstall windows - but I'd much rather not if I can.
help is appreciated.
I already use the tool windows wifi - I had to get rid of the thinkvantage, a longtime, was not read or connect to most routers properly.
I don't think I checked to see if its using DHCP - I'll do it.
Bah. for some reason, I had defined DNS servers (DHCP controlled IP address, but for some reason manual DNS servers have been installed - which I do not remember to do). and with this automatic value - its all fixed. the simplest things can make the entire system panic >. > and it takes forever to find.
on a side note - my experience the thinkvantage apps does not work well and annoy people who use their computer. I had to remove the HARD disk protection- otherwise it would break the system if I moved the laptop at all, and the wifi controller did not all routers of the surrounding area.
It is quite annoying when a program designed to help you is not and only hurt. drive protection is something I'd like to keep, but even at low sensitivity, it is then your desktop - not a laptop, I could not move it if I wanted to make it work.

For the E/D PCI controller, this driver should work, but you may need to install manually if auto installation does not work.

If it does not automatically install, go to Device Manager and click the controller PCI E/D in need of drivers.
Click the driver tab. Click on set to update driver. Select Browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.
This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp66899. Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install. Then restart.

I had this problem too. Here is how I fixed it in about 3 seconds.
1.) by scanning in the right and type "WSReset.exe" (without the quotes) in the search bar.
2.) click on the application that appears. It will look like a Windows Store icon.

We have a vmware infrastructure still in version 4 on a HP Blade Center works for a few years without problem.
However, 2 days ago, we noticed the VMS has been very slow. We have reduced the problem of network connectivity, even if we do not find what is the problem.
On VMS, if we try to ping another server (inside or outside the confines of the blade), it loses a large number of pings. Ping by the ESX host everything well without loss of ping.

I've recently reconfigured my network as follows:
Modem > router Netgear FVS318G > two airports in mode bridged (by Ethernet cable) another joined the network for AirPlay.

The airport network comments feature will not work properly unless your router 'first' AirPort is set up for DHCP and NAT. The comments feature does not work when the first or main airport is configured in Bridge Mode.
Once the 'main' airport set up to do DHCP and NAT, then it is possible to build another airport 'downstream' of the first and extend the functionality of comments like that.
If your two airports must remain in Bridge Mode... (they will probably stay in bridge, since you already have another router upstream, and you probably don't want to mess with the complications of a NAT Double error on the network), then you can disable comments on the routers of the airport.
'How' you do this depends on the version of AirPort utility that you use to administer airports. Please open AirPort Utility, click on the menu of AirPort Utility in the upper left of the screen, and then click the AirPort Utility. After back with the version number that you see here. WLan problems could appear for different reasons. I don t think that it is a WLan driver problem. I think that you should just check the WiFi configuration.
For example, you should check whether changing the WiFi 1-11 channel would improve performance. Also change the settings for encryption (WPA/WP2-AES, TKIP) is worth trying.
Turn off all the settings for the WLan to save energy and check if there is a difference if you turn off the WLan mouse.> 2. Cannot read USB (IE external HARD disk). allows you to restart.

Problems of network with the Portege R500
I reinstalled a R500 (actually downgraded from VB to XPP) and after loading all that I get a dynamic IP from the DHCP server and I can ping computers on the same local network... but I get no response when ping any device on WAN and, of course, I can't access the internet.
Any ideas of what it is that the cause of the problem? I get an IP address on the wired NETWORK adapter and the wireless network adapter...

Problem with network printing on HP C6180
It is a strange... I installed the drivers from HP on a new MacBook. HP printer tools can see the printer (we can see the web services of the printer and can see the status of printer ink) but when I go to print in Word... the document hangs in the coil.
