  • Problem with Safari, after update

I use a MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite, 10.10.5 - and after the last update, I have problems with Safari (version 9.1). Some Web pages I visit every day is more responsible (I get the message that the page needs to be recharged because she failed the first time, but this does not work then either). This problem started just after the last update. Does anyone else have this problem? What I have to go back to the previous version or can I fix this problem?

If you have problems to open Web pages, take a look at these techniques proposed by Apple of troubleshooting.

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204098

Go to the Safari menu (at the top right of your screen next to the Apple icon), choose 'Quit Safari'

Press the "Shift" key and while holding this button on your unique keyboard, click the icon of Safari on your Dock.

Open Safari - Preferences - Privacy - data to remove any Web site.

Open the menu to go with the Option (Alt) key - library - key locate Safari folder and place it on your desktop. Restart your Mac, open Safari and delete the file from your desktop.

    Also, try the following steps:

    Restart your Mac.

    Try to start:

    -Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once your Mac boot, restart dhcpd as you usually do.

If this does not help, follow the instructions below:

    -Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once you see office, start a scan Disk Utility to detect and repair file system errors (remember to choose your primary hard drive)

-Click on the disc to check, then, if requested to solve the problems on the repair disk

-After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

-Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

    I hope this helps!

  • Many problems with Safari

I have several problems with Safari:

-It shows the URL/website address twice (side by side). Let's say the line below is my address bar:

    www.Apple.com www.apple.com

And if it's a long URL, you can not read more because it's a URL on top of the other/same URL (so they are overlapping)

-Even if I open new tabs, it will not show the underside of the bar and I have to close all other tabs to access a specific tab

-I can't type something into the address bar and have it redirect me to google

-When I get a letter now, it suggests not only all used frequently sites more

-Quite often I can't even enter anything in the address bar

I also closed and reopened Safari, rebooted my Mac and deleted the history, cookies and caches.

    Can someone help me?

  • Links from Google and long clicks does not work in Safari on iPad Air

Safari does not open links in a new window.

menu popup (long click on the link) does not work in safari

"open in safari" option does not work in other applications (e.g., facebook)

    all these problems today.

    I look for iPad.

I heard that problems can be due to a new version of iOS 9.3. But my camera has only iOS 9.2.1.

    What happened with safari?

Unfortunately, it happens for some users with 9.2.1 as well. I think what we can do is to be patient, a solution will come.

  • Disappearing Safari on IPad Pro, w/latest iOS update

Please let know us what we can do, or how to delete browser Safari... Since AM today... the browser just disappear, but it remains in the background.

The IPad Pro is not in the drop-down list?

    Tried power market, without success?

Cleared cache and history, checked for updates

    Nothing has changed?

Everything simply unable to use Safari, without problems of it just disappeared from view, can only be closed for background apps?

So, if possible remove once and for all, the SAFARI will use the browser app of my choice.

It is not possible to remove the Safari.

  • bookmarks in Safari on iPad does not correctly synchronize with iCloud

Hello. I have iOS 9.2 on my iPad 2 Air and OS X El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. My Safari bookmarks on my Mac with iCloud sync, but I have a few problems of synchronization of my safari bookmarks on my iPad. They sync out of order, or synchronize incomplete (compared to what I have on my Mac, which is the latest version).

I already disabled safari on my iPad (settings > iCloud > Safari) and selected the option 'remove' the data previously synchronized iCloud Safari on my iPad. When I switched back on safari on my iPad and waited a few minutes for synchronization to occur, my favorites were 90% agree, but some bookmarks were unserviceable and other bookmarks were missing in some of the tabs. I tried also to browse some Web sites in my favorites to see if forcing a fresh synchronization, but it did not help.

I would like to have the bookmarks on my iPad to be the same as the bookmarks on my Mac.

Before, when I got iOS 8 and the Mavericks, they have always been in good sync, but now they are not.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thank you, Rick.
