Problems with "BLUE SCREEN" on Satellite A300D-205

When I instaled to time windows 7 first, it works fine.

I have the same problem of PADI. A driver problem, I think. What can I do?
With the original Windows Vista Home Premium 32 fine little, work, but is slower than windows 7

SORRY for my English language, but I'm from Romania and I don't speak very well.

    Any help?

    Even if the memtest went correctly, this does not mean that bluescreen isn t related to problems of RAM.

    I agree with Akuma: the NTFS.sys file is related to the HARD drive. It may be a HARD drive problem. It could also be a problem in the worst case, the motherboard or RAM.

    As you can see, nobody will be able to tell what is causing this BSOD problem.
    If you n t replace the unique pieces, you will not be able to find the defective part.

    Hello

    It's worse than at the beginning with STOP: 0x000000F4 error message. It is still problematic to help this kind of problems, because your laptop configuration, preinstalled software and activity is not known to us.

    In my opinion you should backup all of your important data, install the OS by using HARD drive recovery option and test functionality with original operating system without any additional software installation.

    If the BSOD happen again and again that I recommend you contact the closest service Toshiba and ask for help. I have two laptops Toshiba and so far I didn t notice BSOD at all.

  • Satellite Pro L20-someone ' one can tell me if I have a problem with the screen?

    Hello

    I have a Pro L20 - PSL25E and I recently had problems with the screen, it was intermittently flickering/lose color and whiting almost (when the color fades white vertical lines begin to appear).
    This seemed to worsen after that I dropped it (only from about 2 feet off the ground, not a big drop).

    I thought that the sceen can go, but the performance of the laptop seems to be affected when this happens, the laptop started to run very slow (tracks mouse slowly, programs I clicked take ages to run and it freezes sometimes to stop flashing) that had me thinking that it might be a virus or performance problem.

    My screen, drivers are updated, I did a full scan with McAfee, ran a clear-up system and a Defrag.

    I was wondering if anyone knew if it seemed to be a problem with the connections of the screen and would need replacement or if it could be repaired or if it were a performance problem?

    Any help would be great thank you appreciate!
    Rebecca.

    Looks like the graphics chip has a problem, which I think is a motherboard replacement.

    You can get a quote for repair to an authorized service provider. There is a list of ASP on the Toshiba site.

  • Satellite A300D-205 - Fn buttons do not work with Win XP

    Hi all!

    I installed windows XP for my toshiba Satellite A300D-205,

    I found compatible drivers and all devices work properly except multimedia functions Fn and sensor-buttons next to the main keyboard!

    I tried to install Toshiba Value Package added, but it does not work in win XP...

    Do you have ideas of how make this stuff work? Y at - it Toshiba VAP for XP?

    All responses appreciated. Thank you.

    Kind regards...

    Look, man

    The VAP (value added package) was designed for Win Vista and Win 7 ONLY!
    There is no PPV for Win XP!

    Satellite A300D-205 belongs to the PSAHCE but the Toshiba series European driver page does not provide the Win XP drivers for this series! There are only Vista or Win 7 drivers.

    To be honest, Win XP is oldie was a King in the past, but the King living death the King (Win 7)

    I doubt that you will get Win XP drivers created for this series and so I doubt that you will get to the buttons FN.
    But of course, you can try to install common Module, Hotkey Utility, utility Hotkey to published display to other devices perhaps series (A300, A200, etc.), you could get the tools running that would allow the FN keys

    Hello!

    I have the Satellite A300D-205, with a Windows 7 32-bit on it. I've upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows Vista 32-bit by an upgrade DVD from Toshiba

    I need Windows 7 64 bit. I was searching the net on this subject and the only thing I knew, I should have the 64-bit version of Vista. But I bought my laptop with Windows Vista 32 bit and have only Windows Vista RECOVERY DVD and the DVD of Windows 7 upgrade.

    How can I change 32 bit to 64 bit

    Thanks for the attention

    Hello

    To be honest, I don't know how you can do... I do not think, it is possible to obtain from Toshiba. I can't recommend allows you to get Win 7 64-bit to install. For all win7 drivers, take a look:

    Hello

    Are you kidding me? You can download all drivers & tools on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

    As far as I know that you have need of the common Modules, Hotkey Utility, Touchpad on / off and utility for multimedia and the FN keys.

    But I m wondering that you want to use Windows XP. It's the past, and now the best OS is Windows 7. Have you tested it yet?

  • AMD Radeon 7570-devices is not compatible with Windows 10 - you're going to have problems with your screen

    Microsoft will come out with Windows 10, as an upgrade of the free operating system next month, July 29, 2015. They came out with an app, 'Get Windows 10', which is intended to help the operating system upgrade process. In this app, it checks for compatibility issues that may exist between your computer and their new Windows 10.  I get results for two of compatibility issues when I run this app. The one that concerns me, it is with the video card that came with my computer, AMD Radeon HD 7570.

    The app tells me: "these devices are not completely compatible with Windows 10" and he adds "you will encounter problems with your screen."

    Is there any driver updates that resolve this problem?

    The driver, I installed on my pc is Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. version 8.960.11.2000

    Windows says that the driver is up-to-date.

    If no driver is available to correct this problem will be I need to replace the video card in my computer and if so with what?

    I currently use two screens, a LG 22EA53 (analog) and an Acer S230HL without any problems with Windows 7, Home Premium, Service Pack 1.

    Malygris1,

    Well, son of a gun... looks that microsoft has made changes in their updates.

    Now when you run the "'get 10 app Windows, check your PC ' it reads in devices..." "0 problems found."

    Looks like Microsoft do with last-minute changes, as you indicated, and others have mentioned about being patient on this matter, that they may (?) have addressed this problem.  Probably won't suddenly course up until the update is done.

    Guess for now, I have to score this as accept as a Solution.

  • Problem with matrix/screen in Qosmio F55-Q502

    Hello

    For a few weeks, I have a strange problem with matrix/screen of my laptop.
    The matrix flickers very often - no matter if the power cable is plugged in or not.
    The screen is full intensity and all of a sudden it starts flashing - it gets darker, lighter, usually for a few / dozen seconds. It does when no one touches or when I'm working on it.
    This very annoying and making eyes tired - he does it very fast and there is few levels of screen brightness.

    In addition, sometimes the screen turns off - you can see what is on the desktop but the screen is very very dark (but not empty or completely off). No reason - sometimes just in the workplace, sometimes for example when I touch (not pull) the power cable between the laptop and the power supply.
    Then, the only way to return to normal brightness of screen id to close the lid just for half a second and open it
    -matrix comes on normally, but can 'turns off' moment later and I have to do it once more - sometimes even several times...
    After 'action' with cover screens it seems that nothing ever happens...

    Anyone an idea what is the cause of such behavior or how to diagnose in details?
    Or maybe solve this problem?

    Best regards
    300 m

    Sounds like the backlight or inverter fails, or there is a bad connection.

    Is the unit under warranty? Send it to an ASP for repair.

    You should avoid to repair yourself, the backlight is very high voltage!

    Hello, I have a problem with switching screens. Here is my code (both screens extends screen):

    SerializableAttribute public class Main extends UiApplication {}

    Private TrainLinkScreen trainLinkScreen;
    Private WorkingScreen workingScreen;
    private string;

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) {}
    new hand (.enterEventDispatcher ());
    }

    public Main() {}
    workingScreen = new WorkingScreen();
    pushScreen (workingScreen);

    try {}
    trainLinkScreen = new TrainLinkScreen();
    } catch (GpsException ex) {}
    message = ex.getMessage ();
    } catch (FileException ex) {}
    message = ex.getMessage ();
    }
    If (message! = null &! message.equals("")) {}
    invokeLater (new Runnable() {}

    public void run() {}
    Dialog.Alert (message);
    System.Exit (1);
    }
    });
    } else {}
    popScreen (workingScreen);
    pushScreen (trainLinkScreen);
    }
    }
    }

    The problem is that the workingScreen is not displayed. The download takes a little time, so I wanted to put here a screen like "I work, please wait...". ", but he appears, the unit freezes for a few seconds and then the trainLinkScreen appears. Could someone please write where is the problem? I tried invokeLater on the first screen, but it ends with the crash on popScreen (trainLinkScreen). I tried invokeLater on trycatch also block, but it does not work either. Help, please.

    Thank you. I already have the solution (I hope that ), I put to device gps location in a separate method (it's a small part of the code that does not have too much time to finish), she called before initialization and initialization in method invokeLater as a thread (the large part, too download from the internet). The display works perfectly in this way (in the first place, the "Download" screen appears and then comes the rest of the code) Although some other things seems to not work properly now

  • Constant rebooting with blue screen - Satellite A60 332

    I have a Satellite A60-332 for topic a little more than two years now, recently, I noticed two major problems which I did not have time to run to the top:

    1. sometimes the laptop restarts just by itself for no reason. When I'm working, a blue screen with white text pops up for half a second and restart the system. Rarely another question occurs after that it will not restart but will be beep like crazy.

    2. I've had this problem since I bought my laptop; Sometimes the laptop won't play audio. What happens is after turning on the system; If the audio does not work: all the 'switches' in the volume control window will be present (wave, cd player, to the, telephone line, etc.). But sometimes when the audio does not work it just shows three switches, not more.

    I've had these two problems for a while now, and I've reformatted my computer at least 5 times since I bought it, these problems never go away.

    I also had another question; my hard drive is the 30 GB supplied with Toshiba. I tried to upgrade, but heard that most laptops, including Toshiba, have a hidden partition on the hard disk called a tatoo, that is when some of the system files are stored so that when you run the recovery discs, they function properly. Can anyone confirm this because, of course, is not a pull & pop work to install a new hard drive, because I won't be able to copy this tatoo.

    Many thanks for any help in advance.

    Hello

    1.) BSOD appears mainly due to the failure of the serious software or hardware failure. The laptop could also automatically stopped due to overheating. In this case, you should check your fans and clean if possible with the vacuum cleaner. But be careful. If it won't work not then test the operating system with the new installation of the OS. Perhaps a 3rd party software is a bad influence.
    In addition, check if the device uses the latest version of the BIOS. If this is not the case, the update.

    2.) don t know why this happens but maybe due to overheating mentioned.
    However, you could try reinstalling the audio driver.

    3.) sometimes laptops come with the Qosmio player or express media player. These players are installed on the hidden partition. I don t think that there could be another reason for hidden partitions.
