  Hello I'm a newbie here, but have some problems with BB Bold 9900 updated.

  During the update alls datas were recorded as usual during restart the BB there's an error to come, means that BB lost its operating system. I used the tips here and somwhere else to restore successfully. Unfortunately the data stored during the update process have not restored, even if the file already exists on my PC.

  The file is called LoaderBackup-(2013-09-26) .bbb - so almost similar to the usual backup file.

  Ho do I restore the data now?

  I have problems with my BB Torch 9800.  When I use the message Unified Inbox to view emails, emails have regularly occurring blank spots where there should be some text.  The text is simply hidden.  When I display the same message to the individual email (gmail or hotmail) Inbox, the message is complete.  A battery pull solves this problem for a few hours or a few days and then it reappears. This problem started a week ago.  I did not recently updated from the BONE.  I didn't do a wipe and restore again... I was hoping to avoid this.  There was an update to the new BB (August 6, 2012).  There were some other 3rd party applications which have also been installed.  I have not tried UN-installing again.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, let it run for some time... long enough to know if the behavior will return. Normally, Safe Mode is designed for immediate diagnosis... nor for normal operations... but in your case, run long enough in mode SAFEW in order to know if the behavior will present will actually help diagnose.

  If the behavior presents while in Safe Mode, then it is likely that your OS kernel became somehow corrupted, requiring these steps you're reluctant to undertake.

  I have a 9700 "BOLD" giving me connection problems so I thought to change the operating system on the phone. I installed proceeding on my curve 9300 7 times, and he was free of any problems. I tried to do the same thing with my bold 9700 and I wiped it until I start. I tried to install 6.0.0.241, a 6.0.0.666 of Vodafone, but the application loader gave the following message: "the blackberry Desktop software doesn't have a blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your mobile service provider or system administrator. "I tried to delete the vendor.xml file but it says the same thing. I tried to use the Desktop Manager, but he says no update available. Then, I decided to downgrade it to version 6.6.0.195 A6.0.0.526, but the same error given application loader. So basically am stuck, the application loader does not load the OS on my device. I found an online forum where I was advised to find a BONE for my carrier, but unfortunately, there is nothing available at Airtel or MTN Zambia. Please advise me on what to do.

  Most often when you perform a manual updrade, the charger does not just because of any PROVIDER. File XML in our PC. It was important to ensure than any SUPPLIER. XML is left undone, on your Pc change your records option to show the hidden files/folders and search again that there may be 2 or 3 SELLER. XML files also remove or uninstall any other BlackBerry Device Software is from your PC.

  Make sure that you use the latest BlackBerry Desktop Software, or download it from BlackBerry desktop softwarehere.

  So please check these things again.

  I had no problems with my camera so far. I got the Curve 8310 for 3 months and now all of a sudden the camera won't zoom. can anyone help me this.

  I had the same problem with my 8310 that I solved it by removing the battery for a few seconds and then replace and reboot... zoom doesn't always from time to time, but restarting always sorts

• Problems with ESC on 9320 blackBerry Smartphones

  I had a curve of 9320 for about a month now and it has developed a fault.

  When I'm in an application like Contacts, I can use the trackpad and escape button to move. However, if I try to use the ESC key to exit the application, the keyboard hangs. I can only release it by holding down the Menu button and selecting the House.

  I don't have a problem with the Messages or email, so I don't think that this may be material.

  Any suggestions welcome!

  Good news! After reading a few other older questions in the forum, I decided to do a new install of my OS. I used a few instructions posted 4 years ago and the problem disappeared at the end!

  Hello I'm owner of BB BOLD 9900 OS 7.1... for the last two days I am facing a pretty annoying problem with the BB browser.

  It means not affects the device... it just annoys me.

  When I TURN ON my WiFi on my BB with the network carrier Sim already homepage active who has a Active on it and open the web browser BB, according to the website on which I open the web browser chooses between the internet Wi - fi OR internet BIS carrier which is weird. BECAUSE a default if the wifi is enabled, then the web browser MUST use internet wifi network carrier for navigation. YOU TUBE, FB and TWITTER.com all use my carrier netwrok to open bt soon I open BBC.com or CNN or any other site the wifi symbol appears on the right side and so it uses the wifi network... and disappears when I opened THE 3 SITES you tube FB n twitter.

  My knowledge is that when you activate THE wifi network, the WEB browser is intended to USE the wireless internet, NOT the internet carrier

  The next time I switchd off the the carrier signal, and then Turned ON one internet WI - FI and then opened the web browser of BB. so now all the opend website with wifi internet bt as soon as I open YOU TUBE or FB or TWITTER.com it post a comment... .that cannot visit the web page when the carrier is off. Please turn on the radio n try again... I mean IT SHOULD OPEN with internet wifi? WHY do network carrier sim to open the web page?

  I have checkd my browser settings and they are default and also my wifi settings I have reset the... the problem still persists?

  any idea wats going on?

  MR. KIWI... Good news... .i went to my carrier service center... Solvedo Problemo!

  Go to your service books and remove directories of service WAP browser in all directories of service WAP 3 I don't know the exact name, but all are related to the browser... WAP config something like dat... Just remove dem... .and HARD restart your fone... and try to use only wifi on your device with your carrier network off...

  mine worked... Let me know on urs... so now, the browser uses my wifi instead of my network provider when both are running...

• Problem with my Bold 9700 blackBerry Smartphones

  Friday my Bold 9700 I had for about 3 months now started rebooting on its own. Roughly 50% of progression in the activity bar, it could happen again. After over an hour of this, I tried to sync to Desktop Manager. I received a message that my operating system has been corrupted and followed the instructions given on the Desktop Manager to reload the software. After that was finished, my BB works normally with the following exceptions:

  1. I don't have have a separate icon to test SMS messages and cannot find a way to create it.

  2. I don't have have an icon for BB Messenger and can't find it in any folder.

  3 the Brick Breaker game icon disappeared. (not that this is a serious problem, but I liked to kill time with this game.)

  If anyone can give me any advice on these issues, I would appreciate it.

  New user of BB 8310 - had old AddressBook fone sprint imported in bb by att - only # first book Sprint in the bb - then - I transfer the address book on my bb for laptop (xp) complete/modify existing data and then send it to the bb?  Downloaded the address book to laptop but unable to open w/extension .ipd files to edit - any help would be appreciated.  Thank you

  Use BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize the address book to BlackBerry with your email and address book application. Change from there and then send again.

• Problem with new Storm2 9550 blackBerry Smartphones

  I have a 9550 (Verizon and unlocked) and use it with a SIM card for Smart Comm. (GSM only) in the Philippines.

  My problem is: I the data connection (BIS) in some places and none among some. These places are accurate and reproducible.

  Example:

  (1) in locations A, B, C, D, I have BIS (logo EDGE/GPRS). The entry "BOLD" 1 in HRT has An APN: blackberry.net. Even with a battery pull, everything works fine. When I join the network, I get the message on the recording. Service books are complete. No problem.

  (2) However, in places E, F, G, H, I have no BIS (logo edge/gprs). "BOLD" 1st entry in HRT show APN: emgsm.vzw3g.com. I can only connect to BIS via wifi. Join the network said the message was sent, but I do not receive a return message. Battery grips makes no difference. I send the documentation of service via the web to get the browser.

  If above the number of point 2 exists and I go to places to point number 1, I can get BIS (EDGE/GPRS logo) and the AFN in the 1st entry of HRT becomes blackberry.net. This happens without no battery pulls. Everything's fine work. To the network and I get a message back.

  If above point number 1 exists and I go to places to the number of article 2, are all right except when I do a battery pull. If I pull the battery, the first entry "BOLD" of HRT goes back to emgsm.vzw3g.com and I get edge/gprs and can connect to BIS via the wifi only. To the network says message sent but I don't fit any message.

  I've wiped and re-installed the OS several times, changed SIM card (same network and number) and the problem persists.

  Found the solution!

  I went to another service provider and it now works fine! Just for the info of those in the Philippines. My previous BIS is Smart communications. I am now with Globe Telecom!

  I can't open my bb8520 camera app. It says that I need to first close all other applications, but the continuous problem. What can I do?

  With the BlackBerry device under voltage, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Now, try the camera again.

  I just got my curve 8900 yesterday t-mobile, and I wondered why I couldn't access the internet and why I couldn't use my messages. Whenever I would try to resemble something upwards using the internet from my blackberry it woud still say something about the subscription. In addition, for messages there it would not allow me to send stuff only save drafts for her, that's why I used the SMS and MMS text to work around my messages. So PLEASE someone please help me understand this problem!

  Well, it's basically what I said earlier.

  The part of your contract with your operator voice covers some elements:

  • Voice
  • Voicemail
  • SMS/MMS
  • (I'm not sure - T-Mobile can give you the full list)

  The data item for your contract covers other elements:

  • Internet browser
  • E-mail
  • Applications that require internet access
  • (I know - T-Mobile can give you the full list)

  You will only receive what you contract for services. So, if you don't have a data contract with T-Mobile, you won't get these services.

  Contact T-Mobile and find out what your policy covers. If it covers the services to which you do not have access, it must be changed (since you're already paying for it). If it does not cover data and that you want these services, then you must add to your contract (for the $$$ they will charge).

• Problem with the back key blackBerry Smartphones

  I have the new Blackberry Bold 9900, and quite often when I press the back/back button, it takes me to the screen of the application of the switch. For example if I'm in the menu mail, where I see the list of emails, and I opened one of these emails, when I'm done reading that email and I press the back key to go back to my email list, need me to place on the screen of the application of the switch.  It's pretty frustrating, help...!

• Problems with Gokivo Navigator 9000 blackBerry Smartphones

  As the new owner (5 dayswith AT & T), I downloaded the browser in the App World since the review was much better than AT & T navigator.  The program is installed, but it has been charging for more than 24 hours.  Is this normal?  How to remove something that charge?  Nothing in the Help menu.  I would just delete App World & start again?  May I ask the navigator program a second time?

  Another user has found a solution to this problem and displayed in these forums... it's to clear the application cache:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press "RST."

  3. for the storm - hold the num-lock ('! 123 ") button so that it hangs and then click on '(34).

  3A. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  You are subscribed to the blackberry service... If your answer is Yes

  So are you sure that you are connected to the blackberry network...

  How can I check if I connected to blackberry?

  Check the network on the phone with the network it will show you the 3 G, EDGE or GPRS capital...!

  And if so, try to ask for the services again... How?  go to Options > then peripheral > Advance system settings > then open host Routing Table > subsequently, click on the blackberry menu button > select Register...

  Hard reset (remove the battery and put it again) & see...

  I would like to know how it goes...
