  Sorry my friend, but your ad looks really amazing. Driver Toshiba of origin is not compatible with the hardware. It cannot be. It cannot be the truth!

I recommend you to backup all your data and try to install your laptop using original recovery image. If there is no hardware problem notebook should work again well.

• A few problems with my Equium A210-1AS

  OK, having some problems with my Equium A210-1AS and if all goes well there's a simple answer that someone here will know...

  First of all how hot is the laptop supposed to get... Mine seems to get the point where it is bad uncomfortable typing as the areas around the mouse pad plastic get really hot and the underside of the laptop is very hot, too... but this is crazy as the system itself was never to the point of crashing or anything through heat... Well well not that i know of anyway.

  The second question that I met while surfing on the net as is every now and then it seems the internet just completely dies and is loading not pages... It's the same thing on Internet explore, firefox and chrome! None of them will display websites - and that's with or without firewalls - it get just halfway through the loading status bit bar and you're nothing... If I close one of internet browsers and try and open them again he won't let me as I said there is still a version running... and when I go in the Manager of tasks, there is nothing in the window but the browser process is still running under the tab process... and no mater how many times you click it and end the process there is always there... The only way I can get rid of it or get the internet is to make a hard re-boot... which seems to take forever to shutdown before restarting (or quckily if I hold down the power button, but I do not do that!)

  The normal recommendation for the CMOS (RTC) battery is to leave the laptop connected to the power supply at least 12 hours when the main battery is fully charged. The charging circuit is going to hijack the current to the load automatically RTC battery and no current will be forwarded to your main battery.

  Recommendation do not leave the power adapter is plugged in the main battery is fully charged is really only applicable to older laptops that used no batteries Li - ion and therefore they had to be completely discharged before recharging to avoid any effect 'memory' of the battery.

I use it at night last, and infact, I went to take a shower and I put the laptop down before you go take a shower at around 19:35, I assumed that its ok just close the lid and it would automatically go into hibernate mode or something similar (?) im wondering if that had something to do with it as I 19:53 would have been about when I came back and lifted the lid/screen again to use the laptop again... I don't have all the Senior Games motorized or complicated or anything else like that installed. Also at that time, indicates the video hardware error message, everything that was in progress when I got the cover down (or before putting the lid down) would have been Windows Live Messenger (although I'm pretty sure that I registered before putting the lid down) and an IE window , im pretty sure that's it, I was not working on anything just check the ' net...

  There are other things I noticed as I thought that maybe I should mention (?), something I've noticed he's doing is the screen goes blank and then back very quickly, a lot. I already asked about it a day or so there at that time, I realized he was only doing that before loading the "Windows needs your permission to continue" window/message, who apparently its supposed to do and something to with the computer to switch to display the normal desktop to the secure desktop, I kind of understand lol.

Is this normal too? or an associated Vista glitch, or is it possible that there may be a small problem with the monitor? Incase of im guessing it can be more than one thing in Vista, but I thought I would ask here, I decided to not pay for any extra insurance/warranty extension because I am very careful with my items and take care of them and so I'm being careful to try to spot defects early, while they may be repairable under the basic warranty and what-not...

  Another thing I noticed is that start with, when I pressed on and kept the 'FN' key, a variety of icons, black and white appeared on the screen that told me what F button (s) to use to make certain adjustments, there still is that when I try right now, but at other times, it does not show icons , no matter how long I hold down the "fn". That didn't matter because I can tell by the symbols on the keyboard press what buttons but its just inconsistent, is there a reason why sometimes the row of icons on the screen will appear when I press and hold the "FN" key and other times it doesn't show at all?

  Also sometimes if I move the slider to the right to the top of the screen, these icons loading as they always seem to be located at the top of the screen, but sometimes it's a problem, if im trying to click on something else and one of these icons rises instead... I'm sure that you can disable this option in sort , but I'd be worried that the icons do not always show when I press and hold the right Button (?) just try to be careful!

I don't want to sound too paranoid, but thought it is better to talk about this kind of things incase someone recognizes these defects/errors and can recommend a way fast to resolve potential problems before they can develop into what whether it is worse...   I brought an Equium L350D around last August. It came with Windows Vista, which I wasn't completely satisfied, but it had become the standard at this time.
  After several problems with Vista and preferring just generally XP, I decided it was time to downshift.

  So I jumped in my drive XP, Set BIOS to boot from the CD, reboot. Vista.
  So I jumped to the BIOS, and he says he is not an optical drive detected. But when I boot in Vista and pop a disc in the drive, it works fine.
