Problems with HP Photosmart C309g wireless and wired

Hello

I fought with my C309g since I bought it a few months before.  It works on and outside, but can not hold a consistent network connection.  I have wired it usually but have tried both wireless.  It is plugged directly into my Netgear router.

Before it works for a short period of time and the other Offline Online & on its own.  Sometimes it recognizes the other computers on the network to print & analyses.  I have 3 PCs on the network - two cables & a wireless.  It will recognize the three rarely, two of them sometimes, one of them sometimes (usually the laptop wireless) and none of these most of the time.

There each time than in quite awhile for the first month and now it does not appear at all on the network - wired or wireless.  I can't print and more.  The documents simply to sit in Quebec for a while and then produce an error.

Any help appreciated.  This printer is a wholemeal bread.

Hi Gringeiro,

You use the wireless WEP or WPA security on your router?  I would recommend WPA2 with AES, well, if you want to connect wireless.  It will also, if you set a static IP address on the printer.  You can do this by typing the IP address of the printer in the address bar of your browser.  Select the network tab, and then look for IPV4 under the section of wired or wireless, depending on how you have connected it.  There should be an option to "suggest manual IP".  If this isn't the case, type IPCONFIG from the command prompt (start/run cmd) to get your addresses in the subnet and the gateway.

    I already know how to set up a static for my printer IP address and all the stuff in IT, so don't worry, everything you say me that I understand it, all I need to know is what to do exactly, but the case is when (step by step).

    Hello, I noticed that you said 'Network via Wired' and then he said "wireless. I will be happy to help you. Just to let you know, you can't be WIRELESS and NETWORK CABLE (Ethernet). You can be wireless and plug the main PC into the USB cable. So, here are the steps to download the drivers and the connection to your PC (USB) PRINCIPAL and others (wireless).

    Connection to MAIN PC wired (USB)
    1. connect the USB cable from the printer directly to the main computer.
    2 download the drivers from the Web site (http://goo.gl/BVOOg), or if you have the CD.

    Note: whenever you download the software and drivers on the site. Be sure to choose the SOFTWARE from FEATURE COMPLETE.
    1. Select software and drivers
    2. type in the name of the product (click Search)
    3. choose the operating system (click Next)
    4. choose Download (scroll to the bottom for the SOFTWARE of FEATURE COMPLETE)
    5. After downloading the software, it will PULL
    6. it will give you an option on how you want that it connected
    7. you choose USB to the PC of the hand

    WIRELESS NETWORK connection
    1. go into your printer settings
    2. Choose Network
    3. Select wireless CONFIGURATION WIZARD
    4. it will search your router (if wireless). Choose your router and configure the printer wireless upward.
    5. go to other computers and follow the steps above to download the drivers.
    6. when it comes to SELECT connection, choose (without wireless/network)

    In this way, you can print from your main PC via USB (wired) and the other wireless computers.

    If your ROUTER is not wireless, and you can only use a wired (Ethernet) network, then you can print only by plugging the cable ETHERNET router to any PC of your choice print from the moment. Also to plug another cable from the router to the printer.

    We recently purchased a Cisco RV120W wireless router and now we can´t connect our wireless Photosmart C4380 printer.

    During the installation process, we get the message: "the can´t computer communicate with the printer on 192.168.0.216. It can be caused by firewallproblems. Check that the 427 UDP port are not blocked in and out of traffic"(translated from Danish).

    If I remove the USB cable and try again, the installation continues and Announces: 'printer found – connected to the LAN' - but in the end: "Printer installation is not complete" - aurgh!

    The report-network printer looks OK all the way.

    Can someone help us we are frustrated.

    Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this device.  However, I would search in the areas of networks, VPN and security.

    You want to be sure of not having active VPN and also look for implementing isolation.

  • WIRELESS and wired LAN do not know each other

    My internet provider installed a new cable modem, without capacity WIFI because I have an airport extreme base WIFI (with cable Express extensions).  Speed and quality are OK, wireless and wired, but there seems to be a wall of China between WIFI and wired (LAN): devices that are connected via a cable to my LAN are not visible from the wireless network and vice versa.  Airport extreme is not 'Bridge' mode ("because not of wireless on the new modem capability".)

    Sounds like the configuration of the device. With the airport devices it can operate as a device on the network or another firewall as its own network. I think that it is way jumpered to activate, this will allow you to configure the wireless on the airport, but your current router will do the DNS/DHCP and will be a single network.

    Now that you have configured as two routers on an independent network as there is no bridge.

    Why? Because no one knows all the details of the laptop, wireless network card system...

    (2) check the connection to the WiFi unsecured. (of course for testing purposes)

    Thanks for all the details with your accounts.

    Can be difficult to have more than one Apple with several e-mails all mixed together.  If an email is used with another Apple ID, for example, that e-mail can be used to create a new Apple ID or rename an old.

    The analysis of what you seem to have however...

    Your purchases are with your *@losmail.no Apple ID, but the emails for this go to your *@gmail.com email address.

    *@gmail.com is the primary e-mail address for your Apple ID *@losmail.no.

    You can connect to iTunes or manage your page ID with *@gmail.com Apple says it's an Apple ID on its own.  As an email address can only be verified for an Apple ID, which means that he must check with your *@losmail.no Apple ID and cannot be verified with *@gmail.com.

    You say you can not connect on appleid.apple.com with *@losmail.no you will need to check the email address.  You have a relief attached to this ID e-mail? This is the email that would be used to recover.   You receive your check or reset email - Apple Support

Then after playing constant song change the blue stars. However, on my Windows Media Player ratings only to have automatically scored only once and every time I play the song the side remains the same.

    I have windows Vista and have been using it for a while to play the sims 3 and download games via original EA downloader/store.  I had run a windows update and an original updated in the last days and therefore my sims 3 expansion packs ceased to operate.  I uninstalled all and have reinstalled the original game of the downloader of origin and now when I try to download my expansion packs I get an error message saying that windows has prevented the application creates a download directory, please accept the UAC prompt to start to download this game.  I approved the promt and they have same message came still high and so I disabled UAC altogether and still got the same error message, I looked on the EA forums and the only line I can find of them our it may be a windows problem (which I doubt)?  Can you help me?

    Gerry, thanks for your post. I have the same problem as Joachim started this thread. I am running Windows 7 sp1. I have a Dell computer and it's certainly a legitimate copy of Windows (confirmed computer 'properties' and it is enabled).

    By your post, I saw just to update and the KB3004394 (installed on 12/10/2014) and KB3024777 (installed on 12/12/2014) show as comfortable. I usually leave the Windows download updates automatically and I install them to stop. I watched the second update and according to Microsoft.com:

    Install KB3024777 to fix a problem with KB3004394 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

    The KB 3004394 update which was dated December 10, 2014 can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer.

    My problem is, as of today 14/12/2014, I still get the pop up "this computer is running not windows genuine', even with KB3024777 installed.

    Any thoughts?

    slmgr.vbs - ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (to replace the specified in the current product key)

    xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx - represents your product key
