  I have an OS XP service pack 2, with outlook express.  My mail is in outlook express, but my wife gets his mail through yahoo.  We both receipt of emails from sereral from a friend with links to the url included in the e-mail.  When she clicks on these emails in his yahoo account link comes right up.  However, as a week ago, all the links that are in the mails that I opened in outlook express, they do more nothing when I click on them - no error message nothing.  Anyone has an idea why links open if I opened an email in yahoo but not if I open an email in outlook express?  And what could be the fix for this?  I never had this problem until about a week ago.   Hi Mike,.

  Make sure that you have not activated your antivirus software analysis of electronic mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 which is often a problem with receiving and sending a message.

  Then, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and a new registry hive (where all the settings and account info is).  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If it sticks sometimes, make sure that you are not setting to check messages too often (like every 3 minutes or somesuch).  You can also try to increase the timeout for the server where this is a problem (Tools |) Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced).  See if who deals with issues "" OE gel.  If Yes, then you can use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

  I do not know that moving to Outlook might solve the problem, because they both use the same mechanism to retrieve messages.  If you still have problems, come on and generate a log file and when OE freezes, which could give some indication of what is the underlying problem.  Make sure that you disable the log file later, because this file grows enormously and can cause problems if it becomes too large.

  Here's my problem:

  I have upgraded to iOS 10 on my iPhone 5s this afternoon (September 13), and now I'm not able to open e-mail - Yahoo!, and Gmail. I can receive emails, I'm not able to view the body of these emails. When I press on them, all I see is a blank white page. I can't answer emails either. I can only their flag or remove them. However, I am able to compose new e-mail messages.

  You use Norton or McAfee av?  I suggest to uninstall these and select free software such as Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast or AVG.  These work properly with Windows Mail.
