Anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you!

This is usually caused by faulty codes in the application. For example, the author cannot if wait the user runs as a normal user instead of administrator or the program can support the video card to support some deprecated DirectX interface. Publisher of the application are usually in the path (C:\Program Files\Company name) or in the file properties page. After you have found the author you can try to look for contact information its in a search engine.

If you see this in random programs (instead of one) the faulty code can be in a program to inject code to arbitrary processes, such as the Windows, entry methods Shell Extensions, viruses or Antivirus, etc. You can try to disable some of them to isolate the problem.

  • Problem with sync error: synchronization has encountered an error during synchronization: unknown error. Sync automatically retrying this action.

    Hi, I started recently a problem with the sync on my desk. My partner Android and Mac laptop no problems when you attempt to synchronize, but office always gives the same error. I tried to disconnect from the desktop computer, erase all files, restart and then adding the Office to synchronize once more, but the error persists.

    All bookmarks on the desktop disappeared, but are still in my sync data and have no problem being viewed on other connected devices. It also tells me that the issue is not the sync server and that there is something unique to the desktop machine.

    I hope that this will not require a reinstall, but if all else fails, it's an option. I'll try to attach a log file once I put the question.

    I think the error message is in the title of the thread:

    Sync has encountered an error during synchronization: unknown error. Sync automatically retrying this action.

    Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

    If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

    Hi Ronda, P

    Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

    (a) edition of windows vista you run on the computer?

    (b) how exactly you are trying to burn the DVD? What file format you are using?

    I firstly you suggests to save the project to your computer, and then try to burn on a DVD at a slower burning speed.

    Choose a speed slower burn to your DVD recorder as follows:

    1. return to the page Add images and videos on the DVD and then click on Options.

    2. in the DVD burning speed box, select medium or slow.

  • Problems with Windows Error Reporting

    I have Vista Home Prmium with SP2 on a dual processor computer heart. wermgr.exe is running in the background and when he does he can linger around for awhile while using 50% of my CPU all the time. He passes in and out the Task Manager, so that the CPU usage is constantly bounce up and down. I tried to disable the windows error reporting service, but it does not work. I read it could be a problem with 2007, but Office and this race Diagnostics would take care of the problem... but the diagnosis has not found a problem. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to fix this? Or y at - it a way to really disable the error reporting service?

    Thank you

    Here's how to disable Windows error reporting in Vista: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/7863/disable-error-reporting-in-xp-vista-and-windows-7/; However, it is not recommended because it can be a useful tool if you are having problems.  That "s your decision to make.

    I hope this helps.

    Maybe a different extension is at stake. Could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

    Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

    If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

    Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

  • Problem with Runtime.getRuntime ()! Need help!

    I use the following command for the connected USB media formatting (in the case h: here's the connected media). Format happens correctly, but the problem is to format does not occur until you have completed running the java program.
    I used the following code in a simple java main class and it worked well. But my request is broad and may not terminate / close it to complete the task of format.
    Any ideas?

    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime () .exec (new/H: String [] {"cmd.exe", "/ c", "format q /fs:exFAT /v:Test"}); "})

    Execution of format will not move forward unless you program java, after that Runtime.exec () will simulate the playback format output and simulate you required ENTRY for format to continue. This procedure is not really easy, but fortunately the article explains well.
    In pseudo-code, instead of:

    Runtime.exec()
    CodeBehind()

    You should:

    Runtime.exec()
    ExtremelyImportantCodeFromTheArticleThatAllowsFormatToCompleteRightAway()
    CodeBehind()

    In fact, I don't know why after all the format is successful when the program stops.

    Edit: If java stuff seems too heavy, try a magic command line like:

    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(new String[]{"cmd.exe", "/c",
         "echo.", "|", // Queue an ENTER as input to the 'format' command that follows so that java does not have to do it
         "format", "E:", "/Q", "/fs:exFAT", "/v:KINGSTON",      // The format command...
         "1>", "nul", "2>", "nul"}); // ...with output suppressed so java does not need to deal with it
    p.waitFor();

    All I can say is that above works fine on my computer and I feel it should work on all windows because it does not use any new thing shell.

  • Problem with function. error() jQuery in 3.0

    As the title suggests, since the 3.0 update I had a problem using .error jQuery function. What I'm trying to do is to hide an image whenever the link is broken. My code that worked in previous versions no longer works and I even created a test with a simple structure file to test the code, and it doesn't seem to work. For the test, I copied the code directly from API jQuery and added a simple hide function, all the elements sit on the stage:

    $("slide1").error (function () {}

    $("slide1").hide ();

    });

    This does not work, and I can't understand why. Any suggestion would be appreciated! Thank you.

    Hi, TAEgner-

    Error() does not work in the latest version of edge animate because it has been deprecated in jQuery 1.8.  Animate it 3, we have improved our version of jQuery to 2.0.3.

    Instead, try this:

    SYM. $('diapo1') .one ('error', function() {}

    SYM.$('slide1'). Hide();

    });

    I hope this helps!

    It helps those answering questions if you provide:

    what version of windows (32-bit or 64-bit) and service pack level.

    you use what browser (exact version).

    what application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?

    What third-party firewall

    What anti-malware software can be installed.

    What updates you trying to install? (Number of KB)

    What error do you get everything when trying to install updates?

    The current AV subscription and it detects malicious software the last time that the system has been analyzed?

    You may encounter temporary connection related errors when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updateshttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/836941>

    By running the Fixit on this page, you can reset the Windows Update components. But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:

    How to reset the Windows Update components http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058>

    Suggest you download and save the Fixit. Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista/Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135 >

    Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Vista firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.
