Problems with support virtual drac5

Hello, I am trying to install Debian Wheezy 7.1 on my Poweredge 1950 III server. I managed to ride (only once), "netinst" 200 MB + .iso image and the installation via my Drac5 [fw v1.60].

However, after a long time of partitioning and so now he has not left me to install the new system, something like cd-rom disassembled, so I stuck on a step tell me an error code debian or what. Up to now, like 2 + hours so I try to mount iso, even on the same machine via 9 IE or Firefox and without success. In Java it always gives me an error of session when you click on to the map of the disk and if not, then I can't see after pressing F11 to see the Menu Boot device, VIRTUAL CD-ROM is not there :/ seen just once... Native almost always connect .iso, but I still don't see it Boot Device Menu

I'm a bit confused what to do to make it work. I user auto-attach and [non-indigenous] java and don't know what to use in the Start Option once [Virtual Media / disabled / PXE]. And even not course, when to ride, when the system is turned off, or when it loads... ?

[Thanks in advance:]

Solved the problem!

Looks like the cars went into strange, who can't tie up my CD, but he acted as she did. System began to start as two times slower. Cars, run racadm ssh connection reset soft .iso and endearing, restart the machine (this is machine boots 2 times faster), go into the Menu of Boot Device and VIRTUAL FLOPPY and VIRTUAL CD-ROM is present, now, I can start again and continue with the installation :)

If the problem is on PAP, it goes in a few 'failed State' and behaves as if it was ok, need restart and then everything works!

I have a problem with Virtual Sound on my Satellite A100-638 with Windows XP. If VS is turned on and Windows plays a sound of Windows, as when an error appears, the volume increases.

When the VS is off, the problem does not exist, but I would have turned on VS, cause, I play a lot of music! I tried to upgrade level or upgrade to other versions of VS, but the problem is still there. I also tried to uninstall and install my sound card drivers.

    Hello

I put t know what is the problem. Your description is incomplete and very strange.
Usually it's not easy to say what's wrong because you have already installed the 3rd party applications that could only unique functions or have a bad influence on all operating systems.
I assume that the registry is damaged.

If we can continue the speculation after the recovery completely portable.

  • Problem with the virtual store to Windows 7 basic, home

Hello, I have a problem with Windows 7 64-bit home basic e-store. What happened is that I have a program that I use to make small electronic circuits and it was working fine until a few days when I noticed that the design I was doing seemed to be locked - I can open it but I can't open the second tab of the main window, which I should be able to do. After much research I discovered that the problem was caused by the virtual store of Windows - system registers my designs. I need to disable this feature because it prevents me from doing my work. I tried many things including turning off virtual store in REGEDIT and it doesn't change anything. I have another computer with Windows 7 starter and I have no problem there at all. I searched the internet for ideas and found two to this site http://www.askvg.com/how-to-tweak-user-account-control-uac-options-in-windows-vista-home-basic-home-premium/

In all no joy. Help, please. I would appreciate only the answers that have been tried and tested not something that is supposed to work.

    Thank you, Ed

I have a program that I use to make small electronic circuits and it was working fine until a few days ago.

Given that things worked fine until a few days ago I would use system restore to set Windows back a week.

  • Problem with the virtual copy exports - JPEG vs DNG

Hi all - just a quick question - I have a set of photos developed in LIghtroom that include several virtual copies of which I now want to export to in the form of final versions on my hard drive. All virtual copies are B & w versions of the masters (post-processing work also differs slightly on the top of the b & w preset).

I need a patch of JPEG and DNG files.
Export to JPEG files seems to work without a hitch and all the pictures come out like in Lightroom.
Exporting DNG however come with a question - all virtual copies come out as images themselves IE. not virtual copies, but they are more b & w as they are supposed to be, but go out like color.

Color version masters come out well. Exports of virtual copy have different look (as expected) and the file size slightly different (also planned?) suggesting this only thing missing for me is the parameter b & w.

I have tried everything to fix this problem with no use - export the virtual copies separately etc. As already said - JPEG works, but DNG does not...

Someone at - he experienced this and if so any suggestions on how to fix...?

    Thks a lot!

    V

DNG files are 'RAW' files - they cannot be changed.

You can export only B & W versions as (pixel database files) as JPG or TIFF

You can export copies of a DNG, but they are still RAW.

You can embed data in a DNG file (containing similar to XML with the NAVE sidecar files and raw CR2 files), but editing will be visible in software that can interpret the raw data (like Lightroom or ACR)

  • Problem with the virtual drive.

On my g6 Pavilion, I get the full message e: HP_TOOLS road.   It is a virtual drive on my pc, how do I deploy using DISKPART to BACK?

    Thank you

    Tom

Did you make the registry change that I sent you a private message?

So, I agree with your statement. These are certainly back up files. The question is; What is backup files?

Microsoft System Restore only deals with backup of critical system files and registration and records in a hidden folder that is not easily editable. In addition, you verified that this is not enabled for this player. So who is excluded.

Another possibility is that other Windows, such as Windows Backup service, creates these files. Backup Windows treats the user's choice of the files instead of just the files of backup system.

    Try the following steps.

    1. Click Start, type "backup and restore" and press ENTER.
    2. This will bring up the Windows backup window. It seems to be set up, or it asks you to configure for the first time?
    3. If it is flagged by the look on the left side and you should see an option "disable automatic schedule;" turn this option off. The backup will be not automatically, but you can always do it manually on this screen.
    4. Delete the file Moberdan_HP from the HP_Tools partition.
    5. Improperly editing the registry if you used it.
    6. Reboot the laptop and make sure that the problem is resolved.
  • VM hung due to a problem with the virtual processor

    Hello

Has anyone faced with the following question?

I use ESXi 5.0. I have several virtual machines run on the ESXi server. There is a virtual machine hung 2 times this month. I had to restart the vSphere Client Console.

I saw this strange event message in the event tab of ESXi host for this virtual machine:

    Error stack:
Click OK to restart the virtual machine or Cancel to turn off the virtual machine.
An error has occurred causing a virtual CPU go into the stop State. If this anomaly had occurred outside of a virtual machine, it would have caused the physical machine restart. The stop State are accessible by properly configuring the virtual machine, a bug in the guest operating system or a problem in VMware ESX.

    Thank you!

    tkmanh wrote:

That is why I said, «if you don't have a GROUP...» "I gave the article as a reference, because it happens to contain the corrective measures required for Intel BD132 erratum, regardless of the symptoms you are experiencing.  For a complete list of symptoms, please note the following text of the Intel erratum, rather than the text of the article:

This erratum may result in unexpected errors, an incorrigible TLB error recorded in IA32_MCi_STATUS. MCACOD (bits [0:15]) with a value of 0000_0000_0001_xxxxb (where x is 0 or 1), an accident comments or hypervisor, or other unexpected behavior of the system.

If you have a PAE enabled in this guest (or any other guest Windows XP 32 - bit on this system), this problem could potentially be the result of this erratum.  Then again, it might be something else entirely.

In any case if you are at risk of erratum Intel BD132, I suggest you to take the measures recommended in the above-mentioned article.

  • Problem with initialization virtual machine OlioDB

    Hello

I have been using VMmark 2.1 six months spent for our performance appraisals. I recently started seeing the following error message when the harness trying to boot the virtual machine OlioDB0:

Stafcmd: Tile0: FS copy the file: ConfigServer_OLIOjspDB.sh failed with RC = 22, STARFResult = STAFConnectionWriteUInt: error writing to the socket: send() RC = 10054:22

I can ping the virtual computer, I can also ping using STAF (oliodb0 STAF-> pong ping ping).

If I change the WORKLOADLIST in the vmmark2.config file so that it includes OlioDB, initialization is going through and I can see the virtual machine making initialization. But when WORKLOADLIST revert to the original, I get the above error message. I would appreciate your help to try to solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Amin

Sorry, my apologies, I understood the question. I had another copy of the same virtual machine running on a separate server, which caused a conflict of IP address with the main VM that the test sought to initialize. I got rid of the copy and everything started to work very well.

  • problem with VCB virtual machine identified by < unset > is unknown

    Hello

I have three ESX 3.5 in a cluster with an EVA SAN. When I do my backup, I get this message for some of my virtual machines. The majority of my backup work well...

PrepareForBackup() could not prepare TermServer for backup, returned the error 16

The virtual machine identified by & lt; unset & gt; is unknown.

    Exit code: 16

Pre order is: "C:\Program VMware Consolidated Backup Framework\backupexec\Green-pre-backup.bat" green-Termserver TermServer - fullVM

In Virtual Center, the name of the virtual computer is TermServer, the folder on my SAN is TermServer and all files, named according to the name of vm, have 'TermServer' in their name.

    Any idea?

    Hello

I think that you have a DNS problem, you use - ipaddr in config. file for VCB?

Try ping TermServer, you can resolve the name?

  • Is that a catastrophic problem with BootCamp / virtual machines or something else?

Just had a catasrophic with BootCamp problem

My MBP was running a bit lazy, so Apple gave me a few instructions on how to fix this, including linking the installation discs for the disk utility and empty all of my folders cache under OSX.  Don't know if any of this slow and crashing was something to do with the installation of the latest update to OSX

All of a sudden when I came back to Windows in the usual manner, the installation of windows in the VM required activation. Needless to say I had to activate windows every time I spent Bootcamp in OSX and/or then the merger to get to Windows, I had to re-activate so finally that Microsoft is beginning to think that someone is to install Windows on multiple computers and telephone activation becomes a nightmare.

But even worse, when I managed to understand what product key that I used for bootcamp and started windows, EACH CONFIGURATION MADE OVER A YEAR or so AND EACH SOFTWARE INSTALLATION HAD DISAPPEARED, I HAD!  Without a windows installation process, I've been frame with a soft-install windows desktop with all my lost favorites. Leading to an even bigger nightmare in the re-installation of hundreds of evidence hours of software.  He had two meager records to show that I was in the right place and that everything is not contained in another folder and a file or two, but I wonder if all these installation information is contained in a cache in the directory structure Active Directory OSX? If so, is it possible to identify the files or the folders in which cache directory must be saved?

If this is the case, I never dreamed that something to do with the windows installation was contained in the OSX directory structure?  Surely if this is the case, there should be a strong warning on it?   Admittedlythe Windows Setup WAS a bit slow before the "incident", but I doubt that there is something deeply wrong, and in any event I ran just a fully updated Adaware and Spybot so this problem is probably not a virus. (I don't use email merge)

If this is the case, is - can anyone identify records needing backup before you empty the caches under OSX?  I don't think THAT many here would have been recovered by the take a snapshot could it? (anyway, I could not in windows without this activation)

FWIW, the only way I can see what is a matter of merger is if by chance you're under Fusion 2.0.0, which had a fatal flaw it would partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine to take a snap, and if you did not start in native mode again you probably will not notice immediately that all changes have been written in a disc rather than the disc file physics itself and then if we deleted the virtual Boot Camp Machine partition a situation such that you described could have similar results.

Another thing to look at is C:\Program Files in the Windows directory and see if it contains all the applications you have installed once and if she doesn't then it's quite possible that you run Windows from a default registry hive, which of course contains no information on changes since Windows has been installed but you have really not provide adequate details on what you were in fact under the leadership of Apple technology to get where you currently are, so there is not much that I can offer.

  • HPDM and "Device ID" problem with Citrix virtual card

In our image, there is the Citrix "virtual" adaptor, and this seems becausing a "Device ID" conflcit with some computers.

I'm sitting here, watching the HPDM to change host name and the IP address of the line of the device so that the device ID is remaining the same. Didn't understand why my tasks were failing or passes to two computers at the same time until I realized that it takes device ID of the first found on the system Mac address.

Is there anyway that I can get HPDM or HPDMAgent to choose the Mac of a different adapter to give his "Device ID"? It seems that HPDM is not able to send a single task to a single device, given that a host name and IP, but it also shuts down and send it to any other device that has the same "device id" (mac address).

Then, when I run "ipconfig/all", the virtual map of Citrix (citrix vpn client) shows first, before the Local connection area Realtek, that's why I'm assuming HPDM straightens the Mac of Citrix first address which is duplicate with other systems which also have installed Citrix virtual card.

We have a fix for this kind of question.

The new design is to filter all of the virtual card, DM will pick up the mac address of the physical NIC as device ID.

The fix will include 4.6 SP1 which aims in mid-May.

  • strange problem with a virtual machine in VC2.5 U3

    Hello

situation looks similar to the following: we followed ping IP of the VMS system. If the IP does more (stop the VM, NIC, IP conflict or other problem), then monitoring sends an sms to the mobile.

There is a virtual computer, lets call him VM1 that runs all the time (well - he was responding to pings, because any sms received, but we do not know if it worked ok, fair pings were OK). And suddenly, Monday morning, we got SMS that VM is offline (no ping response). If my colleague entered VC and saw that this virtual machine has been powered down. He put on this virtual machine, and he started working (operating system and also pings).

And now we know what happened. In VC, when I go to the tab events and tasks VM, I see in TASKS 2 inputs display: 4.06.2009 - Migration between hosts caused by the DRS (COMPLETED), and the 29.06.2009 to power on a virtual machine (by my colleague). There is no task displayed between this period on the performance tab, just take a peek. He has failed on performance since May (until the 29.06). I do not know if this worked well (we not only got all the warnings, the pings are bad). So I am confused - where looking for this first cause?

Second question, I have seen events spammed by custom attributes (take a look). How to get rid of it, or is it possible to browse this VM events history?

Is it possible to confirm what really happened to this virtual machine?

You can try to search in VC Journal, ESX and VM logs.

But could be a very long job...

    André
