• I have problems with Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Windows 7 32-bit Professiol.

  When I open an image of the bridge, the photoshop Panel is locked on one side of the screen.  The onle way I can get out of it is CTRL, alt, delete.  The problem persists.  I tried to uninstall Adobe and reinstall with no luck.  I called Adobe and they think that there is a problem with the security system in Windows.  Help, please.

  This could be attributed to several factors such as conflicts between device drivers, applications, settings of operating system, hardware, and corrupt elements in specific files.

  Basic troubleshooting
  
  1. make sure that the computer meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop.
  2. install all Windows updates. .
  3 re-create the Photoshop preferences file.

  Re-create the Photoshop preferences file to eliminate problems that may cause a damaged Preferences file.

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files:

  1. quit Photoshop.
  2. rename the \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Adobe Photoshop CS4 Settings\Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp directory Users\ [username] Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.old.
  3 launch Photoshop. Photoshop creates a new Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp file.
  If the problem persists, the Photoshop preferences files aren't the cause. To restore custom settings, quit Photoshop, and then delete the new Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp file and restore the original name of the previous Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp file.
  
  4 restart Windows in a modified mode

• Problem with template in CS4

  I work with Dreamweaver CS4. I'm using the 2 fixed column, sidebar right, model of header and footer. My problem is that I can't get rid of the space between the header and the main content. I do not understand it controls... one assumes that it is a top margin on the main content but not luck.

• Problems with Premiere Pro CS4: first use/installation

  I am a photographer. I have a Canon 1 d Mark IV, which takes HD video. I bought the Premiere Pro to edit video. It is installed without complaint. When it is called, it is VERY slow.  The first splash panel shows (purkle with "Pr"), but the long rectangle at the bottom is white without content.  After more time, the main window opens and then the boy in the window (to open a project, new project, help), but it does not display this content but is rather transparent right away to my paper painted (photo of my daughter).  If I take the small window and drag off screen and return the appropriate content then I can click on an option. From there everything is very slow and after each click, I have to drag the entire window off the screen, tap the screen to see the updated content.  If I import a .mov file I can go to play in the top left panel (I'm totally familiar with Pr at this point and excuse me for my lack of knowledge of the nomenclature) including reset at the beginning, etc.  But if I try to import more content via the bottom left panel, after every click of a choice of repertoire, I drag the window off the screen and come back to see the expanded choices.  This applies also to choose the codecs, frame rate and almost anything else.  It is, of course, unusable.

  I suspect it is a video card issue.  I am running Windows XP Pro on a core of two DuoCore 3.33 mHz with 4 GB of RAM and two Gigabyte 8800 GT cards and a relatively recent driver from the nVidia website. I have a RAID 1, RAID 0 and RAID 5 works disk system disk scratch to perhaps of 750 GB of free space. I run against viruses and malware as a software system for the defrag and registry mainenance maintenance, etc.  Most of the other Adobe products perform well including PS, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc..

  I don't know how to determine the cause of my problems.  I tried the Ko, but other than a few simple things, it is not very useful.  I hope that it is a well known symptom of something so if I missed it please just point me to what is necessary.

  On a side note, I will build a new i7 Win7 64 bit box this summer and would appreciate a pointer to where I can find the component builds that work well with Adobe Web Premium CS4 and Premiere Pro.

  How are your double vid-cards configured, SLI, Crossfire?

  The first thing I would do would be to get the latest driver for the nVidias.

  You're not sure if the blinds is available for Win 7, but you have? Update of the blinds has corrected similar problems.

• Problem with update for cs4 Raw

  Try to update to ARC 5.7 for cs4 (windows) via the Help menu.  It seems to download, but when it starts to install it it asks me to close the PS and the bridge.  He accepts that I closed

• Problem with the brush CS4 tool 'paint inside of fashion'

  There are very long Flash, at least go back to version 8. I'm not sure, but it certainly affects only two on the four sides of a square. There is a bug on this point, so I'll send it for review.

• Pen tool problem with Adobe Illustrator CS4

  Recently, after many years, I finally gave up using AI 9 and started using AI CS4.

  However, I'm having a real problem and it's bugging me. When I start to use the feather on CS4, it gives me much too much information and disrupts my concentration. • Big problem with Premiere Pro CS4

  When I open Adobe Premiere PRO CS4 (with all updates) I can not click on 'new project', 'open project', 'Help'... When I click on one of them it flashes just, if I clicked it anywhere else. I'm also under Windows XP SP3 / 32-bit version. Please help me guys!

  Hello... I'm using photoshop since version 5... so I did what I always did with my plugins 3d party... stick em in the plugins folder, but nothing happens...

  I spent all day trying to figure why... in any istructions come with plugins, he just said to do the same old thing... so any body has any idea why it will not work...?

  Much, or almost, third-party plug-ins don't vascular does not work in 64-bit.  You must use 32-bit mode.

• Install the CS4 but problem with Acrobat

  Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Mac OS 10.11, apparently.

• 2nd monitor problems with Photoshop CS4 and CC

  I'm on a quest to solve a problem with my second monitor when using Photoshop. When I hit F in photoshop to switch between display modes or when I Zoom in or out this happens:

  

  OK, well it is turned on its side, but you get the point. Until very recently, I used OS x 10.6.8 with Photoshop CS4 with no problems but ran into some problems with applications etc so I upgraded to Yosemite. That's when the problem started. In order to solve what I did a clean install of Mavericks in the hope that Yosemite was too new and that he had not brought bugs. Then I reinstalled CS4 there more this problem, but another problem just as boring. the profile for the 2nd monitor appears so desaturated and terrible that I can't use it to edit, despite several attempts to recalibrate.

  Apple is aware of these driver problems and work on solutions.

  Turning off the use of Photoshop GPU can help.

  But if you need the GPU features, you can return to a stable version of MacOS.

  Problem with CS4 paragraph indentation styles: specificities of the indentation suddenly APPEAR differently but reading the same thing (in the paragraph style palette) on page 5 to 6 and beyond.   I have both CS4 and CS5 installed on my laptop.  I want to free up space on my hard drive uninstalling CS4.  I want to assure you that I don't have any problem with my CS5 installed, that works perfectly.  Any suggestions?  The precautions I take?

  There is no way to prevent the problems I know.  Deleting an older version after a new installation problems.  You will have to perhaps to reinstall 5, or worst case, clean the system disk and reinstall all Windows on the spot.

  Does not not not saying things will go bad, just that they pourraient .  Be prepared.
