  There are a few threads describing problems with two monitors, but I have not found a match.

  I like for the operating system ask login password once the lid is closed, no matter how much time has passed (even for a moment). Also, I work with a dual monitor. However, when my macbook is plugged into the monitor and I close the lid, the macbook don't disconnect but spends just primary monitors. Understand that this could be a feature and not a bug, I tried to unplug the monitor before closing the lid. But the OS seems not to realize that the monitor has been disconnected, and when I close the lid he didn't ask me for my password once that I reopen it. Does it also if I wait a bit (i.e. one minute) after disconnecting the monitor, but not if I wait a while (or 15 minutes), well that I've not enough highlighted how long is necessary so that it starts locking on my closing the lid. He does it with different monitors, so I doubt that it depends on the particular monitor. In both cases, I used the HDMI port.

  This is quite annoying, because I need to be able to disconnect safely in a short period of time, and I was not able to find a workaround on mine. Everyone knows this? Thank you for any help or advice.

• Problems with the external monitor W540 connection

  Hi, maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to connect a W540 (no external dock) to an external monitor Dell.

  I tried with two monitors, but none work.

  Connected via VGA port on the side of the W540

  (1) connected monitor and clogged up the resolution of the screen on laptop (lines icons tiny, black on each side of the screen). External monitor works fine. When unplugged, it went back to the previous screen resolution.

  (2) laptop registered resolution and icon size of the screen as a profile.

  (3) external monitor connected right click options graphics Intel, insured was custom display, main display plus external monitor, then had to go in a re - click on the name of the saved profile.

  (4) this worked ok until the next day, when turned on laptop and a blue screen. Managed to get this back hard by restarting and completed the steps in N3

  (5) cannot get the Nvidia Control Panel to display anything else than the 3D options, even if it make the default value (instead of the Intel graphic card)

  Can anyone offer some so that I can connect an external monitor without having to go through all this hassle every time? Why this affects the laptop so bad (and also, it runs very slowly after that)

  Thank you. A quick update, I contacted Lenovo, and they sent the updated bios drivers. I also uninstalled some software Canon MP Navigator and Lenovo EMC Discovery (http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht081844?tabName=Solutions). One or all of them seem to have solved the problem, including the slow start.

  I was all of a sudden having problems connecting to my wifi at home. When I was diagnosed, he says cannot communicate with primary dns server. • Problems with the program monitor for 20 to 90 seconds with project started in first CC2014 using CC2015

  I'm just finishing an important project for first Pro CC2015 and it tests my patience. Whenever I do an edit simple ripple and transitions program window to view side-by-side, CC2015 PP becomes somewhat insensitive for anywhere between 20 and 90 seconds. Sometimes it does not recover at all. When I say it's a bit insensitive, I mean I can always move clips, remove clips, or manipulate the clips in any way I want on the timeline. But the program monitor just sits on that same side-by-side view. The side-by-side never displayed the images while ripple editing is performed. The source window, audio mixer and lumetri litters all stop working. But they recover before the window of the program.

  This project was launched in 2014 CC and we should never have improved while in the middle of this project, but now it's too late to go back. It does this on two PCs at work and my PC at home. I started a new project, and no problem with changes to the ripple. Although there are minor, other performance issues, more generally I'm not happy about this day with first CC 2015. I also found a CC2014 project that will not export the correct proportions using CC2015, but just, we returned to the 2014 project to continue working on it.

  Number for ripple editing, eventually everything comes back and still works, but only once so far. Only once, however, my PC completely frozen and had to be returned. I built this PC at hand and never charge anything on what I have needed for my work. This is the first time that this PC has frozen more than 3 years that I used it. Sometimes, a program crashes, but never the entire system.

  Did anyone else out there having this problem?

  MY ADVICE: Finish the projects of CC2014 on CC2014! Stick with new projects with CC2015. or just hold off on upgrading.

  We had similar problems a bit when we were trying to establish the same thing with the secondary ip address and has resolved once we changed it to the primary ip address...

  A colleague tries to run the 1.7 SUU on a Dell 2950 ESX version 3.5 running, the utility seems to work beyond the point showing "System is consistent with the preconditions", but then just exits and returns the word "Null".

  Someone at - he observed this behavious and might perhaps suggest a work around?

• problem with the ios certificate server does not update the CRL

  Hi all

  The background is that I'm putting a DMVPN solution with tunnels ipsec between the rays created by using certificates.

  I use a cisco 877 as the CA server (its 12.4 (6) T5) running to provide certificates for the spoke routers. This part works very well - rays can apply for a certificate and get a number very well.

  The problem is CA, life of LCR is set to 24 hours, but the CA is not updated the LCR so when the rays see CRL (as defined in their trustpoint) they point to a mistake that the CRL is obsolete and does not connect.

  If making a ' #sh cryptographic pki server ' it lists a ' CRL NextUpdate timer. It has a timestamp that is 24 hours after the last certificate was revocked. The only way I can get the LCR to be rebuilt must revoke a certificate.

  So, my question is, am I missing something here? I thought that it would automatically generations a new CRL list file every 24 hours.

  This seems to correspond to this bug:

  However, it does not mention if 12.4 (6) T5 is affected, only that it was found 12.4 (15) T3 and resolved to 12.4 (15) T10 and other more recent versions.

  I suggest trying the last 12.4 (15) Tx, 15.0 (1) Mx or 15.1 (4) Mx version if you can.

  I assumed that you have much of it, but just in case: as a workaround, you can disable CRL checking on all routers DMVPN, of course they will still allow connections from routers with a revoked RADIUS.

  As (temporary?) substitute for a Revocation list, you can use a 'certificate ACL' with which you can create kind of a 'local CRL Manual:

    crypto pki certificate map certACL 10    serial-number ne    serial-number ne    etc. 

    crypto pki trustpoint myTP

     match certificate certACL
  
      (note the "ne" stands for "not equal" so you are permitting any certificate whose serial number is not listed) 

  Of course, you would have to configure (and maintain!) participating on each router in the DMVPN so it's heavy, but I guess if you revoke often certs, that it might be an option.

• FTP problems with the linux ftp server

  I have a problem when trying to get a file via FTP. The FTP server is an embedded linux system, get the file manually via FTP is no problem, but to TestStand, I get the following error:

  Cannot download the file ' / opt/log/sislog.log'.
  Check if the local and remote path exists and is read and write respectively.

  The system does not have the specified path.

  error. I know that the file is there, the permissions are given. So I tried the other way around and tried to download a file called "mysislog.log" in that directory and download it again. I get the same error, but when I telnet to the LUX machine, I see that there is a file in this directory, but the file is called "\mysislog.log" - so I think backslash TestStand put the last bar in the name of the file and therefore impossible to load the file.

  Here is the list of the repertoire of the LUX machine:

  Unfortunately, this is a known issue that will be fixed in a future version of TestStand (although I don't know what future version). The FTP step was designed for LabVIEW RT.

  The workaround is to call a code module that runs this ftp upload, possibly using a ftp software.

• Connection with the Apple ID server problem

  iCloud on my ASUS ZENBOOK can not connect.  It always returns a connection error message: there is A PROBLEM CONNECTING WITH THE APPLE ID SERVER.

  My laptop is an ASUS model UX303L (64-bit) running Windows 10 Home, Version 1511.

  (1) I have connected to my very well through several iPhones iCloud account, multiple iPads, an iMac and another ZBOX PC running the same version of Windows 10.  (Confirms that it is not a problem of "User" with me trying to use the wrong password).

  (2) from my laptop problem, I can connect to the internet fine iCloud - Chrome and Firefox version by.

  (3) I have the latest version of iTunes on the laptop, which starts very well and logs in my iTunes store (.. .in the Australia).  [This is interesting, because I guess that both iTunes and iCloud connect to the same server Apple ID to check the details].

  (4) I made sure that Windows is completely up to date, and that my office 2013 is also entirely up-to-date, with a full stop/restart of the laptop to make sure that nothing is installed in half.

  (5) I uninstalled iCloudand reinstalled from a new download.  Did not help.

  (6) before the iCloud upgrade to the latest version there is + 2 weeks (I'm now on the 5.2.1.69 Version), iCloud worked perfectly, including the good synchronization of Outlook calendar and favorite contacts on different browsers.  I want to try and reinstall the old version - see if that restores me to my nirvana earlier, but I couldn't find anyway to do.

  Suggestions as to best 'next steps', I can take would be highly appreciated...

  I searched a bit and his city that he has a software is compatible with windows vista/2000/xp. Win 7 is not mentioned do not know if this could be a problem, but in your case, I recommend asking the support of this software product for some advice.

  If I understand you right you can see when laptop starts and you see Toshiba welcome screen. Is this good?
  When you enter the BIOS settings you see thise lines too?

  Later, when you see the desktop on the external monitor, you can use the FN + F5 key combination to switch between an LCD and external monitor. Please try to use it and post comments if it works or not.
