• Problems with Premiere Pro CS4: first use/installation

  I am a photographer. I have a Canon 1 d Mark IV, which takes HD video. I bought the Premiere Pro to edit video. It is installed without complaint. When it is called, it is VERY slow.  The first splash panel shows (purkle with "Pr"), but the long rectangle at the bottom is white without content.  After more time, the main window opens and then the boy in the window (to open a project, new project, help), but it does not display this content but is rather transparent right away to my paper painted (photo of my daughter).  If I take the small window and drag off screen and return the appropriate content then I can click on an option. From there everything is very slow and after each click, I have to drag the entire window off the screen, tap the screen to see the updated content.  If I import a .mov file I can go to play in the top left panel (I'm totally familiar with Pr at this point and excuse me for my lack of knowledge of the nomenclature) including reset at the beginning, etc.  But if I try to import more content via the bottom left panel, after every click of a choice of repertoire, I drag the window off the screen and come back to see the expanded choices.  This applies also to choose the codecs, frame rate and almost anything else.  It is, of course, unusable.

  I suspect it is a video card issue.  I am running Windows XP Pro on a core of two DuoCore 3.33 mHz with 4 GB of RAM and two Gigabyte 8800 GT cards and a relatively recent driver from the nVidia website. I have a RAID 1, RAID 0 and RAID 5 works disk system disk scratch to perhaps of 750 GB of free space. I run against viruses and malware as a software system for the defrag and registry mainenance maintenance, etc.  Most of the other Adobe products perform well including PS, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc..

  I don't know how to determine the cause of my problems.  I tried the Ko, but other than a few simple things, it is not very useful.  I hope that it is a well known symptom of something so if I missed it please just point me to what is necessary.

  On a side note, I will build a new i7 Win7 64 bit box this summer and would appreciate a pointer to where I can find the component builds that work well with Adobe Web Premium CS4 and Premiere Pro.

  How are your double vid-cards configured, SLI, Crossfire?

  The first thing I would do would be to get the latest driver for the nVidias.

  You're not sure if the blinds is available for Win 7, but you have? Update of the blinds has corrected similar problems.

• Problems with getting an interactive E-book created in ID CS6 to work with ID CC 2015

  Hi all

  I have a problem with an e-book that I created with Indesign CS6.  He has slideshows, blocks of video image, zoomable and scrolling text boxes between assets. It was never published but was over and I was able to do work through the constructor app let me see on Viewer Adobe on my Ipad. Here, everything works perfectly. Since then, I changed cs6 to 2015 for CC and now I have problems.

  I wan't to make some corrections to the origianl design and content and publish correctly. When I open the various documents that the book consists of (a document PR. Chapter of the book) it is no longer the option to create the app that I used in the old CS6. When I export a chapter the ibooks app opens and opens the chapter, well but some interactive things do not work: my slide show does not automatically change the slide it's supposed to, I also have a zoom in the window of a drawing I did and all the boxes scrolling with text and drawings do not work either. Video clips to work however. When I check the slide show options in the document, they seem to look ok. Now my questions are:

  How do these things work?

  What is the difference in the CS6 and CC 2015?

  Can someone direct me to some tutorials that can help me solve the problem?

  I really hope someone can help I would like to finish my project I've been working on for a long time...

  A few years ago, I bought Adobe Web Premium CS4. Earlier this year, I bought a new laptop with Windows 10 64-bit onboard. I installed CS4 - it took place without a hitch. Unfortunately, a few days ago, I had to have my reinstalled system. After the relocation and the update of my laptop, I tried again to install the Adobe software. This time, everything went well outside the Illustrator who can't run. My problem looks like the one described here: Adobe Illustrator Spanish version crashes or won't start or launch | Windows 8.1 -the difference is the language of my system is Polish. Whenever I try to launch the program, the system inform me that Illustrator is not compatible with my operating system and I should change the settings for programs that don't support Unicode. Of course, I tried to do this, but without success...

  I contacted Adobe experts, but they do not know the solution and they sent me here. Is it possible to solve my problem? If this isn't the case - download the English version of Illustrator? Although it is part of Web Premium, a consultant from Adobe suggested it would not work as I have for the Web Premium serial number not for Illustrator itself.

  Help, please! I seriously need Illustrator and cannot afford new version.

  Thanks again, Ned Murphy. The problem is that I bought a new laptop, because the former was far too slooooow for work with the most demanding programs (such as I, for example). Yet, I really appreciate your efforts to console me.

  Fortunately, I managed to find a solution. It's pretty simple - all I had to do was to change the settings for programs that do not support Unicode in the language of my operating system (in my case - Polish [sic!]). For all of you who are having the same problem - you can find this option in the control panel > regional and Language Options (in Windows 10 regions only) as described here: How to change the language for non-unicode programs settings in Win10?

  That's all. Everything works fine again - I can't believe :)

• Installation of Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium CS4 - No PhotoShop/Illustrator

  I have registered for Web Premium CS4 serial number that I'm trying to reinstall on OSX Yosemite. I removed the superdrive in my machine last year, so I downloaded installation program appropriate to the Adobe site.

  I launched the program installation and my key entry, which was accepted, but in the list of installation options customized, I wasn't able to select all commodities (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc.), ancillary products like Acrobat, AIR and so on. I went with the standard installation instead, but this has not yet installed all the commodities.

  The re - run the installer, I get only the option to install or reinstall the auxiliary products: Photoshop and others still do not appear as options grayed out now.

  My series was licensed student, acquired in 2009. It is true that it is now expired? The software worked fine until I had a game with 30 day trials CC last year, but I don't feel the amount I use the software would justify the cost of the subscription/upgrade.

  Any help to restore my Photoshop and Illustrator would be greatly appreciated.

  They no longer carry versions of languages of Western Europe, but I'm guessing that Hungary falls more on the eastern side.  You can try to contact someone on this site to see if they have something to offer to your needs.  They are the only resource known by most here for links to older versions of Adobe.  In fact, they download from Adobe servers.

  You can also try to contact the Support from Adobe directly via chat.  They might be able to provide a link, at least I saw here several times.

  Since you want to buy a Volume License, then you can buy the current version which is CS6 and 'Downgrade' of CS4. This Downgrade is available only with Volume licenses and does not come with the retail version. You can buy the Volume Licensing of CS6 on the purchase of Adobe license or reseller site and contact support Adobe Chat or telephone to request a downgrade.

  Adobe delivers only the serial number for CS4, after decommissioning, but does not download for this product box issue. So before asking a downgrade you fix CS4 media yourself. You can go to the site to check if the required product is available by download link / box of replacement.

  I spent a few hours trying to find a way to solve this problem and I think I found one that work especially well with edge entertainment and the embedded code, in case someone is having the same problem...

  1. On Android, content web poster automatically once greater than it actually is, this means that web content with a size of 1000 x 1000 px, appears as if it were 2000 x 2000 px.
  2. If you select the "Scale to fit content" option, the size is multiplied by 0.75. This means that our 1000 x 1000 web content will display as if it were a 750 x 750 px.

  You have two options here...

  1. If you don't select "Content scale to fit", you need to create your content as if it was half, that he really wants to be. For example, our 1000 x 1000 px web content must be resized to 500 x 500 px. After that you just have to create a framework with the actual size (1000 x 1000 px in this case) and paste web content and resize it (adjust the content proportionally).

  Basic troubleshooting
  
  1. make sure that the computer meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop.
  2. install all Windows updates. .
  3 re-create the Photoshop preferences file.

• Problem with contact shares as part of the sharing of the family
