I need a driver, but I find it on the HP support web page.

Go to Device Manager and click on the unknown device 0004 requiring the driver.
Click the driver tab.
Click on set to update driver.
Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.
This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp64144.
Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
I know this is the driver you need, because here, it is a partial copy and paste of the setup information file driver that shows support for the drivers for the hardware ID you have posted.

Hello
I used Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition
on my laptop 3040 CA DM1.
I have recently installed Windows 10 64-bit Home Premium edition.
Now, in Device Manager, under other devices, I show this unknown device is missing a driver. Under details in the Device Manager it says ACPI\HPQ0004\2 & DABA3FF & 0
I think it might be the button wireless hp as my wireless button / stop does not work. Fortunately, the wireless is on. If I push it offshore, the light changes from white to orange, but it's still on.
I downloaded the driver from sp71707.exe but it seems to have done nothing... the power button / stop wireless still not working and still unknown poster peripheral device manager is missing a driver.
Can someone tell me which driver I need? Thank you.

It would have no effect on why the wireless button does not work.
I'm afraid you'll have to live with this issue, because there is no wireless switch driver for your model.
If there was, there would be an unknown device with a hardware ID of ACPI\HPQ6001.

Unknown device ACPI/HPQ0004
Hello
I installed the 64 bit, win 7 on my dv8-1190ef, but there is an unknown device (ACPI/HPQ0004).
Please help me solve this problem!
That's the guard HP 3D drive.
This is a slightly different model of dv8, but it will work. I guess HP forgot a list for your specific model number. I couldn't find FRO your support in any case page.
And here's a more recent version
I found this one for a HP Envy, but as mentioned, it will work fine for a dv8, or any other laptop with burner HP hardware 3D of the guard.

computer laptop dv6-6023tx: properties of the unknown - Driver ACPI\HPQ0004 drivers
Hello
I recently had to install a new HDD in my laptop HP dv6-6023tx as the old unit has failed. (Model No. LR733PA #ABG)
I installed Windows and all the drivers that I can find, but I seem to be a lack...
I always get an "unknown device" which shows details such as "ACPI\HPQ0004".
Can you help me with the correct driver for this problem
Thank you
If you had used the support of HP recovery when you first set up your computer, you should not need to manually install the drivers for all of the unknown material. Since it seems that you have installed a generic copy of Windows, you will need to download and install several drivers of the HP Pavilion dv6-6023tx Entertainment Notebook PC - software and driver page. The specific driver for your problem should be ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64144.exe
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Hello:
See if the driver I compressed upwards and attached below works for you...
Unzip the file in its folder. Don't do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to Device Manager and click on the device of the ASD needing drivers.
Click the driver tab. Click on set to update driver. Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped. Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.
Then restart.

Hello:
As you probably understand now, the HP business support pages were crushed and practically no drivers are listed.
I can get only the first two for the moment...
ACPI\HPQ6007:
File name: sp67280.exe
ACPI\HPQ6001:
http://FTP.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp6356 4.exe
When the support pages back upward, you driver JMicron card reader for two PCI\VEN_197B devices.
I doubt there will be drivers W10, but the last one for any operating system that they should work just fine.

Hello:
You need the driver for the hardware ID of PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_9C3A:
Have you installed the driver for bluetooth model corresponding to the model of wireless card that your laptop is?
If this isn't the case, you need to.
If so, it would be impossible for me to determine which device must be the driver.

4540 proBook s: unknown devices on windows 4540 s probook 10
One of these unidentified devices is probably the multimedia card reader.
You can identify devices by using Device Manager and right-click on one of them and selecting Properties. See the example below image.
Once you have the PCI\VEN string you can use it in a google search to see what it is. You can use Windows 8.1 drivers in Windows 10 by their installation in compatibility mode.
