Process management and security roles

Hi guys,.

I haven't worked with security too, and now I have to set the users who will be linked to the cycle of process management. Is there a specific role for each phase? All phases are necessary?

Thank you!

Anna

Hi Anna,.

I think that the first and most important step in your task is to understand the information flows through your organization. Ask your customers/users how the flow of information would have been had they not HFM. Design a couple of cards and have your clients sign this process is very important in my experience.

As soon as you understand what roles of company should deliver/review of information for the next role of business, then start designing HFM processes management.

  • The first level of process management is the road. At this level no user cannot import data except the administrator
  • The second level of process management is the first pass. At this level all users can enter data without restriction.
  • The third level of the management of the process is the levels of review. You have 10 levels of review by submission. However, a five-level review is enough for most organizations. Consider the most complex multilevel review process. My personal opinion is that the 4 levels of review are good enough for the majority of organizations. RL1, the inputer will enter data to the RL2, the Director of finance will review the data, RL3 hub/region Director will review the data and finally to RL4 users group will review the data.
  • Level 4 review I mentioned, can be the substitute of the next set of levels that is present, approve, and publish. The status "publish" will allow the entity to block which means that not even the administrator will not be able to change the data or calculate l‟entite.

There are many combinations of how you can configure process management, so if you have any questions please let us know.

Kind regards

Thanos

    Hello

I need to set the security of user group and the role of E-Capture but not no matter what doc and I configured 5 reviews in web logical console with the administrator group, but faced with a problem that is mentioned below

    Problem:

    (1) in the E-capture show only user weblogic and I'm not able to search for any user.

    (2) not yet able to connect to e-capture console and client using another user except weblogic.

    Hello

Connect to Enterprisemanger-> right click on the domain-> titles-> roles and policies

Then select capture and navigate to capture roles add LDAP users and groups to roles according to your requirement to capture. If faced with any LDAP related issues can create the user with the admin role and try to add it all first by assigning the two roles out there. Hoping that this will certainly help.

  • Integration of BPEL Process Manager and jDeveloper

I downloaded BPEL Process Manager 10.1.3.1.0 but BPEL Designer is delivered is no longer with her and it integrates with jDeveloper 11g. Is there a version of BPEL Process Manager that I can integrate with jDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.0.0? I have to use jDev 10g in order to use BPEL Process Manager. Please forward your comments.

The JDeveloper and SOA Suite / BPEL version must remain in phase with each other, this includes minor versions, e.g. JDev 10.1.3.4 must be used with SOA Suite 10.1.3.4. Unfortunately the 11g JDev is not certified with the 10.1.3.1 SOA Suite.

If you just install SOA Suite, it may be a good idea to upgrade to 10.1.3.4 until development is underway.

    see you soon

  • Process manager and workspace admin url for 10gR 3

    I'm under 10gR 3 bpm locally.
URL to access my local workspace is http://localhost:8585/workspace/faces/jsf/workspace/workspace.xhtml
Could you let me know the URL to access the Task Manager and admin workspace.
    Thanks in advance.

Looking at your port 8585 it is the default port for the Studio, in the Studio, there is no Director of the Web console or workspace, these applications are only available in the enterprise.
If your case is undertaken, then the url is /webconsole and /portaladmin

  • Question questions Apple ID management and security

Tponging, on my iPhone, a message appeared on the screen to say that my ID was used to connect to iMessages and FaceTime on my "ipad3. I don't have a device called 'ipad3', so I was naturally suspicious. First question - can you be spammed by screen pop up? It wasn't an email but a message on the screen that displayed randomly.

So I decided, to be on the safe side, I try and change my Apple ID. I managed to access the page "manage your Apple ID", but after several attempts to try to guess the answers to the questions of ID I do not even create, I was told I had used "too many attempts and now my account is blocked." I tried after contact with advice from Apple on another post on the forum, but the contact for the United Kingdom led to a page that says ' we are not available right now, please try again later ". So how can second question - I get my account now? It seems that if there has been a breach of security, spammers have done a better job than me to break the security of Apple! Help, please...

Yes, the fake pop ups are possible in Safari, but it is unlikely for this message. There is no advantage to any con man, unless he directed you to a Web site or dial a phone number.

You should directly contact the apple Support, starting with the link contact Apple at the bottom of this page.

  • vSphere 5, vCSA, View Manager and Secure Gateway

    Hello world

    I need some advice...

A new vSphere infrastructure situation 5:

3 HP Proliant server, each connected via iSCSI to external storage
VMware vSphere Essentials Plus Kit 5 (used for the server VM) main virtualization infrastructure
VMware View 5 first add-on for virtualizing a desktop machine
    approx. 20 VM server
    approx. 10 desktop VM
    My questions:
for the vCenter, I thought to use vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA) which can be used up to 5 host and VM 50,
but for the View Manager manage the office machine, what should I use?
There is also a View Manager device?
Or I need to install it on a separate Windows 2008 Server?
Need to be a member of the Windows domain?
And for the VMware Secure Gateway ?
There is a device or must be installed on a separate Windows 2008 Server?
When he used the vCSA, you must have a domain on the network controller?
    Thanks for your reply guys

No.... the vCenter and view managed use 'ADAM' which is AD in user mode and is not compatible with an AD domain controller.

You need at least 3 Server Wiindows (DC 1 AD + DNS + DHCP, 1 vCenter + music, 1 View Manager)

  • Security roles and workflow management groups

    People,

There is a section on Workflow management groups and security roles in vCloud Request Manager Installation and Configuration Guide - Guide of Directors Chapter 5 and 6. I have difficulty working on the relationship between the two settings.

My first question is around the goal of the WM default checkbox that the specific guide is used to set the default user workflow management group.

What would a never used default WM? I mean, what would he ever substitute the other workflow management groups that you define.

In addition, in the guide, it say cloud Blueprint Admin and Asset Manager security role is a combination of the Admin of Blueprint of cloud and the Asset Manager. Is cloud Blueprint Admin & Asset Manager being the two groups of workflow management, reasonable to assume that a security role is composed of workflow management groups?

And when I select agent, I do not see a cloud Blueprint Admin and Asset Manager security role listed?

Finally, is there a way to determine the exact permissions that contains a workflow management group/security role?

    Thank you

    Cormac

The Group Management (WM) default workflow is largely an artifact of vSM based vRM.

VSM, a group of WM is a collection of agents used to apply security and route of tasks, among other responsibilities. (For the purpose of vRM, an agent can defined as users who have access to the vRM admin interface).

vRM mainly use WM groups as a way to deliver relevant communications to users based on their responsibilities for example vCD Admins, Asset Managers etc. vRM does not require other functions related to WM groups.

For functional reasons, vSM requires that each officer with access to the capabilities of WM belong at least a WM group. In addition, at least one of these groups must be designated the default WM for this officer group. These functional reasons are not immediately relevant to the specific use of vRM rest however case the constraint. Suffice to say for vRM, every WM user must have a WM group by default even if this information must never be used.

Roles and groups are separate entities. A role defines a set of privileges to access a particular functional area of the admin interface for example a role WM sets permissions to interact with the workflow. of the roles of management (CM) configuration sets permissions to review and modify records in the repository of vRM.

A special role of WM can be associated with one or more groups WM. When this WM role is assigned to a user, that user inherits groups associated with this role, WM allowing to simplify the administration of groups. An individual user can also have other WM assigned groups to them directly, complementary to those inherited from their role of WM.

At an abstract level, vRM defines three types of users of the admin interface:

    1 vCD Admins

    2. plan Admins

    3. managers

However, the security of MSM model requires that each individual user must be implemented with several components. By default, vRM sets a "Asset Managers" WM Group of what assets all managers must belong. However, WM groups cannot be used to give access to the features as well, so a separate from the "Asset Managers" WM role is obliged to grant access to these features asset managers. By default, the role of "Asset Manager" WM is associated with the "Asset Managers" group such that any user who is assigned the role automatically belongs to the Group also. There is also a separate 'Asset Managers' CM role that gives asset managers they need to the repository vRM for example the possibility to add new licenses for software products.

This model of definitions is repeated for 3 personas above with a group and several roles defined for each. When an administrator assigns a user to one of these characters they should assign the groups and roles appropriate according to the documentation. They should not need to be concerned by the distinctions between each component.

The role of the "Plan Director Admin and Asset Manager" reflects that a user may need to be asset manager and a Director of Blueprint. Because a user can have a role to the maximum by functional area, vRM provides a compound that provides two sets of permissions. However, a user can belong to several groups WM, so it is never necessary to provide a composite group.

The role of composite is there; just maybe not where you expect to find. Blueprint Admins do not need to access WM, so there is not a 'Blueprint' Admin or a composite WM role. Blueprint Admins do need access to configuration management so it's an "Admin blueprint" and a role of CM composite.

The details of the user screen provides:

    • a summary of all groups to which a user belongs

    • provides a 'Détails' button to drill down on each role assigned to the user to inspect the permissions granted by this particular role

You must be a vCD Admin to see areas of the screen.

I use Vista Home Premium.  When I open the Task Manager and select "Show processes from all users" there are 2 files csrss.exe.  I learned that this indicates that I was infected by a virus.  Is this the case?

    Hi Julie,.

Did you the latest changes on the system?

Csrss.exe is Client/Server Runtime Subsystem.  All the Microsoft system has file csrss.exe running in the Task Manager, but it is likely to be infected by others. If it uses a lot of time processor and extremely abnormal in activities in the Task Manager, you can run a scan of the system security.

You can read the following article to download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and perform a full scan on your computer.

  • Basic word processing and security

I'm old 'Nat' and don't know much about computers, but I use my laptop Lenovo 2010 (Windows 7 Home Premium) to do a lot of email and writing/editing my creative writing. Over the years, I've used different Microsoft Office programs and also Norton antivirus, but they are too expensive for me now. I have also rebuilt my laptop if necessary using the button 'One', which brings back the laptop to its original construction.  I need to know if my laptop has any built-in basic word-processing program and a basic anti-virus program?  If this isn't the case, which would be an inexpensive way for me to get programs EXCLUSIVELY to edit my writing and e-mailing safely?  Thanks for help. The Windows Task Manager seems completely wrong - it has no tabs for applications, services, processes, performance and networking, just one size rectangle box SHOW the TASKS of WORKING ON?  I use it all the time close process and close programs stuborn. None of these options are CURRENTLY available? The only thing I can think is I went to delete one of my readers WD3.0 data and he says it has been used by another program and I've had that happen before and just go close a lot of the process by typing Control, Alt and delete which opens the windows task manager. I recently changed "System Configuration'under'msconfig" Normal startup to "selective startup" and reduce the number of drivers and programs loading to 'Start Up', as he ran 90 things and slow start. "" "» I have no viruses or malware. I changed the "system configuration" back to normal + restart and that he would remove the progams, or processes that have been intefering with the Western Digital HD software. THIS IS WHEN I FIRST NOTICED WINDOWS TASK MANAGER HAS BEEN SCREWED UP.

But I can't because my Windows Task Manager is just a rectangular box with a single word to the top sayingTASKS!  Without tab with all the other options as in (program, process, services, performance, and network management).

    Hi MAMARDA,

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

I would like to ask you a few questions in order to get a better understanding of this issue so that we can better help you.

    (a) what version of Windows 7 use you?

    (b) what is the exact error message you are getting?

Method 1: You can also try to perform a file system (scan SFC) verification tool. This tool will fix the system files are corrupted.

    Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

    1. click on the Start button

    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

    3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

    4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option

    5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter

    7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.

    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

    9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue

    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Method 2: If this is a recent problem that has developed you can try to perform a system restore and check if it works very well.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next

    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next

    4. click on finish

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

For more information, please follow the below given link:

How to repair the operating system and how to restore the configuration of the operating system to an earlier point in time in Windows Vista

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936212/

Method 3: you can try to start safe mode and restore the system, if you are unable to do it in normal mode.

For a safe boot, you can follow the below given steps:

    1. remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

    2. do one of the following:

    a. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

    b. If your computer has multiple operating systems, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

When you are in safe mode, follow the steps mentioned above to complete the restore of the system.

    Hope the helps of information.
Please post back and we do know.
