  You have a corrupted Licnsing store-

  Please try the steps below to re-create the store with the correct data.

  (1) open an Internet browser window.
  (2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
  (3) find the CMD.exe file
  (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
  (5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
  (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
  (7) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat
  (8) type: cd %windir%\system32
  (9) type: net start slsvc
  (10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)
  (11) restart your computer twice.

  You may need to enter your COA key and activate it.
  Once complete, run another report MGADiag and post back with the results

  I understand that after getting your equipment repaired, you cannot activate Windows 8.

  As the ID of the product gets changed every time the internal components of the machine are modified and when you try to activate Windows it identifies it as a machine to new or different.

  Recently, I bought a computer from a big brand. I installed a legitimate copy of Windows Vista Edition Family Premium on it which came with my dads computer, also bought the same brand. The installed fine print, on more than one occasion and has been also validated successfully on each installation. The same disc has been used before that to install and activate a copy of Windows on my dads computer.

  However, my computer broke and after much hassl, he was returned to the company and I am waiting for a refund. I formatted the computer off until it is, including the installed copy of Vista.

  Now, I bought a new computer and installed the same copy of Vista on it. Once again no problems with installation.

  When I came to activate Windows online I met with the message that the product key is already in use. Of searching this forum I found that I was able to activate the copy by phone and so called, followed the instructions and was told that I could not activate this copy that was only to use a computer.

  How can I now go to the activation of the copy that I have on my new computer? If I was told it correctly and it can be installed on a computer, then how is it that a second facility was made and activated on my old and now returned computer?

  Any help would be valuable.

  You can reactivate your Windows Vista installation by doing the following:

  1. click on the Start button and in the box, type search: slui.exe 4

  2. press the Enter key on your keyboard.

  3 select your country.

  4 follow the instructions for the activation of the telephone (toll-free).

  After you have installed Windows 8 pro on my laptop with the installer in the email successfully, then I have to stick my turn off windows 8 pro key which I have just disabled on my desk by using the slmgr.vbs command and it shows the product key is already used on another PC on my laptop.

  So I went about trying the phone activation, they always gave me that same thing product key is already used on another PC.

  I have a Compaq Presario F730 Notebook PC. I bought it two years ago. Today, when I got home I got a message on my screen that said that I needed to get my vista product key. You might be better just try calling at different times of the day to find one of the periods of time during the day when the queue of the call is low.
