You will need to buy a new one. OEM is not from Microsoft.

I had to spend my PC this morning. Moving it, I decided to implement a new network card. When I reconnected it all the cables, I plugged my USB mouse on another USB port where it had been plugged in before. The computer is more than 7 years old and I've never had a problem with the front Windows Validation. I have a valid license for Windows XP key code, so why the system tells me it is not currently active or real? When Windows checks to see if you have moved your copy of Windows to "another computer", among other things, that his focus on the identification of several strands of material in the computer to see if they are different than when Windows was first installed. I do not remember the list for now, but I remember that the network card is one of the pieces - and IIRC it is 'valuable' higher than others to reach the conclusion.
You probably other elements has changed over the past seven years and now Windows has decided to have a "new" computer Assuming that you haven't changed the motherboard - if you had, you would have had this issue at the time wherever you did--your installation is still legal. Reactivate using your original license key. It should work online, but you will need to call the number that appears in the error message from re - validate.

I don't have the money to buy the recovery for each computer disk.IBM ThinkCentre

Windows 8 certificate of authenticity/Product Key Code
my brother gifted aspire me E1-522-5603. Where can I find the code for windows product key windows 8, such that it is necessary to upgrade to Win 8.1... NEED HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
The product key is integrated in the system. He is no longer a COA sticker or need a key like coating makes this unnecessary.
It is a new initiative from Microsoft. You should find that a relocation (from the recovery partition) or the update install without asking for a key.
This will succeed only with the supplied Acer OS. Should you, for any reason, load a commercial version you use the key provided with this software. (If you lose the ability to restore the operating system from the recovery partition, the cheapest option would be to buy Acer retrieve media.) -

I lost my disk of windows xp professional, but always my code. Is - this here in any case get a replacement? I can't afforde one another disc, please help! Thank you
Why did you use your name as a topic instead of your question?
Is - this Windows preinstalled on your computer? If so, contact the manufacturer. -
Had the new hard drive installed on my computer, so now, two weeks later, the computer tells me that I need to activate Windows with the product key code. The product key code label is too so I can't read the code. I called Toshiba for a new or a replacement code, but they told me that I had to back up my hard drive and restore it to the factory settings. I also tried to find the phone number of support following the instructions on the Microsoft Web site, but I don't get any options, that the instructions say I should. My computer tells me too that my Windows is not genuine, and my screen and background images of screen saver does not work anymore.
Use a magnifying glass and a strong light and see if you can decipher the worn characters. There is no trace of the key so if you do not you will need to follow the instructions of Toshiba for restoring your windows with the recovery disk.

Since it is an OEM version that the 3rd party "key finders" will not help you. Don't bother to google for them.
The only solution is to call the manufacturer of your computer...
1. tell them your situation and see if they can help on the key issue of product.
2. If they say "can't", ask them to send you a set od recovery disks. " THS cost is minimal and the money will be well spent. The game will save your computer when the computer breaks down.3. at the same time, ask to speak to a technician. Ask the person if he or she can teach you how to access the recovery Partition and how to use it to restore the system.
Suggestion #2 and #3 do NOT require the use of the product key.

I need to format the hard drive but don't have the windows vista disc to reinstall, but have had the key code that vista was preinstalled do I have to buy a new drive for vista
Hello
How to reinstall Vista
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

Can I use the Vista key code to activate this Windows 7?
Original title: Windows 7 and key code
I have a Dell laptop that I replaced the drive on. Originally Vista and Windows 7. I reloaded Vista but if I load this https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
Can I use the Vista key code to activate this Windows 7?
No, you need the product key for Windows 7, Windows 7 uses its own unique product key. What you can do is to reload the old hard drive, and then try to recover the product key:
Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:
Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
(He did a good job of providing a wealth of information.)Also: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
and: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html
and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional features
