Profile of MDM installation fails outside our local network

I'm trying to register an iPad outside LAN of our Organization. It is connected to the ATT cellular network and is able to see our management profiles very well. He sees our certificates and shows different warnings, I go ahead and press "install". Then I type "confidence". A key is generated. The certificate is registered. In step "install profile", it fails with a message "failed installation of profile" non-descript.

I check the logs on our MDM server and can see the communication from the iPad.

Of the server for devicemgrd.log newspaper reported the incoming requests.

But something that happens after that. And there is no log file indicating what is happening.

Before I go into the rabbit hole and trace TCP packets on our firewall, is there something simpler to check?

For example, is there something about our self-signed certificates? Or something else?

Have you contacted the supplier MDM?  What's your error logs on the server side? Generally, we have problems to install the profile if the speed of the connection is bad or damaged.

    First of all, are you just a black screen that stays there for about 30 seconds then it closes with error? It is usually a problem with the connection to PCOIP. Could be firewall rules blocking a port, it could be the NATs. Security servers can be hard enough for the Setup program.

    First check and see if you can connect by using the view client and RDP Protocol. Also, make sure that through the firewall, the Security Server can access the VLAN Office on tcp/udp 4172. Search for NATing in the external firewall and that your security server for installation of the connection to the server has the external IP address that there are listed (not the internal IP of the server security).

    If you have a team network to talk to them and see if they can track packages. Look at the logs on the server and Security Office.

    You don't have to worry about this error. Security Server does not need to be on the field, in fact it should not really be on the field. It somewhat defeats the purpose of having a security server. The client has authenticated the username and the password and is spent on the desktop then ok. If the Office is unable to connect the user for a reason, then they will be left on the desktop windows request a user name and a pass.

    I'm trying to set up my WRT1900AC router to access a USB attached as an external storage device. I can access the drive when I'm on the LAN, but I had no success accessing outside my local network. I enabled the FTP option in the section of external storage. With the FTP option is enabled, it then points me to the IP address that my cable modem ISP attributed to the router (192.168.0.2). Obviously this won't work from the outside world because it is not the IPV6 address. I install my modem cable to the port before 21-the 192.168.0.2 address and tried to access from outside by using my address IPV6 (ftp://77.XX.XXX.XX:21) but it will not connect. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, as I obviously don't do something here.

    We have just added a Cisco ASA5510 to protect our network. Everything works except that no one in the local network can access our imail we site. Web site points to one of our public IP address, x.x.x.35 (we have access to the web site of outside and we can just? t do inside even after the addition of the ASA). Is it possible inside computers can access our web site using the public IP address? If not, my another option is to set up a record DNS pointing to the web site, for example 192.168.0.213 = www.chicagotech.net (name of the network domain is chicagotech.local)? I can? t find a way to do it. Any suggestions?

    If inside users try to connect to the public IP address then, it won't work. How do fix you this depends on where is your DNS server.

    If inside users use a DNS server on the external interface, and then you can have the ASA change the DNS response during its passage through the ASA. Just add the option "dns" on the end of your static controls so that they resemble the following:

    If inside users use a DNS server on the inside, but this server responds with the public IP address, so you'll have to change within a file so that it points to your local IP address 192.168.0.21x. No other way around it, I'm afraid.

  • Cannot ping outside my local network

    I have a computer, I'm trying hard; It runs Windows XP Professional.  I can't access the Internet from this computer; only local resources.  I ping the LAN behind my router, and other computers on the local network have no problems of access to the Internet.  I can ping the local computers and my router from this computer by IP address or name, I can ping and the local host (127.0.0.1).  She receives a valid IP address of the router, which works as a DHCP and DNS server seems to work.  I tried to change the DNS servers in the TCP/IP configuration to use OpenDNS, just in case there was a problem with my ISP, but given that the other computers on my local network were not seen the question, I don't have to understand that it would make a difference.  It did not help.  I tried to disable the firewall in the case who was blocking Internet Explorer or another browser to work.  I tried ipconfig/flushdns, released and renewed the IP address, the only thing that I is not done yet is netsh commands to rebuild the TCP/IP stack, but since I can ping, I don't think that is the question.  I ran Malwarebytes and an updated version of AVG anti-virus, who both turned up nothing.  I can not get the system restore to restore a date known working restore, it fails, there is nothing in the startup that seems suspicious, there is nothing pointing to a proxy server redirecting traffic, and I'm out of ideas.  Anyone think of something that I missed?

    It is due to the fact that they do not allow "hair pinning" by default, once this is configured, it will work.

    The task status page can present the error above, however, the help > on of interface user page indicating that the system in question is running version 5.4

    You can also view the logs to confirm this.

  • MDM registration fails with "out of find CRL, unknown CA.

    I'll put up a few classes worth of iPads for a local school and a few problems getting iPads recorded on the Apple MDM server.

    We have a mac mini to the latest version of El Capitan and iPads to connect by using the domain name (theserver.mdm.theschool.edu).  The domain is registered and administered by a third party and they run the main site (theschool.edu), but they passed on to all applications on the subnet of mdm (i.e. *. mdm.theschool.edu to our LAN (ASM was able to communicate with our server using theserver.mdm.theschool.edu, so we know that it works). nslookup and the ping from inside the local network is theserver.mdm.theschool.edu without problem.)

    Because we cannot mess with the primary DNS for this project, I use the DNS on the mac mini and send all our subnet of mdm requests to this server.  All iPads use this server as a DNS server address and have no trouble accessing it. Any unknown applications are transferred to the primary DNS server.

    I created a domain in Open Directory for our local subnet (mdm.theschool.edu) and the captain the mini mac.

    When I try to save an iPad via the web site server, it fails and I only see it in the newspaper:

    I use free free certificates.  CA in the message changes each time.

    I can download the certificate that I use for the iPad with success, just not register actually unit. I had a quick glance at all the certificates that I can see and they have all what looks like the correct CA in them.

    Where can I find more diagnostic information?  Why CA continue to change (corruption, something caused random data not specified...)?

    I could be wrong, but as I KNOW MDM will not work with free certificates, you need to get a certificate of push Apple related to one identifier Apple. You don't mention in your question.

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2 are you able to install any other updates, outside this update?

    3. who was the last update installed on the computer? To check the update, open the window update page and click View installed update.

    Please let us know what you have already tried, it saved time at both ends.

    Just to confirm, did you follow the steps outlined in the article below for Windows Vista as the steps for Windows XP do not work with Windows Vista, and that's why there could be issues in the creation of the files.

    1 restart the computer in safe mode (to restart in mode safe keep pressing F8 on reboot).

    2. click on the start menu and in the search box start type CMD.

    3. in the list right click on CMD, and then click Run as administrator.

    4. at the command prompt, type net stop cryptsvc.

    5 rename C:\windows\System32\Catroot2 Catroot2.old.

    6 open the C:\windows folder, and then rename the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution as SoftwareDistribution.old.

    7. at the command prompt, type net start cryptsvc, and press enter

    8 restart the computer in normal mode

    9. run updates and check if you are able to get the updates without any error.

    We are trying to do a fresh install of Oracle Hyperion EPM 11.1.2.3 on Windows 2008 Server R2.

    Its a standard deployment with a Foundation Server and an Essbase server.

    When you try to install on the server of the Foundation, the EPM System Installer fails to install Oracle database customers.

    The first Question we have is, we have decided using Microsoft SQL Server for the repository of Shared Services and therefore would like to know if it is safe to ignore this error and move on.

  • Language Pack Installation failed

    I'm running Win 7 Ultimate x 64. I tried to install as administrator, the simplified Chinese language pack. Installation, after several hours of installation time, failed. The update is now listed in my history of editing, but not in the installed updates. He has never offered again. I can go to the region and language in Control Panel and see that simplified Chinese is offered, although I have never selected, disconnected and then connected back to see if it works. Is it possible to remove the update failed? I really don't want to use the system restore and having to reinstall other programs.

    If the update for language pack installation failed then you won't find it under installed updates.

    If the failure of Chinese language pack update is available in the update history, there is nothing wrong, history of the update gives you only the information about installing updates on the computer.

    You can not only remove the update failed update history; If you want to remove the update failed, then you will need completely erase the history of the update.

    In the regional and language settings where do you find the Chinese in option?

    If you do not want Chinese language on the computer, then you can uninstall, check if it is available in the installed language.

    (a) open region and language by clicking on the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking clock, language, and region, and then by clicking on the region and language.

    (b) click the keyboards and languages tab.

    (c) under display language, click install/uninstall languages, and then follow the steps. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    If the Chinese language is not available in the installed language, then you must remove the keyboard for input.
