You can try the following.
Shut down the PC. Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to enter the Windows Recovery Console. Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER. If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore. Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration. When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.
Another option if the above does not help is as follows.
Shut down the PC. Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to enter the Windows Recovery Console. Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

After validation, this I came across another independent message that says to 'rebuild' the mailboxes. I found that if I "rebuild" option on the source (as in what was recently imported) folder, it would allow me to copy to other folders the newly created. If I just manually 'rebuild' for each of the newly imported files.
No idea why this should be done on freshly imported files, but seemed to allow me to go beyond this issue anyway, just update on this in case it helps anyone.

Internet service provider could not help send emails in Windows Live.
Windows Live has been works well for a few years, but now I cannot send emails. Verio is my Internet provider and they couldn't help me. They seem to think that it is a Windows problem. I can receive ok.

· Who is the manufacturer of the printer and what is the model?
· When did you get the error message when you try to install the printer or when you try to print?
I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below.
Method 1:
I suggest you to check if the Printer Spooler service is started.
a. Click Start and click Run.
b. type services.msc in the box run.
c. find the print spooler service and right click on it.
d. click Properties and verify that the startup type is set to automatic.
Method 2:
Step 1:
To start in safe mode, follow the steps mentioned below.
a. restart and keep tapping F8 until you reach the start menu.
b. Select safe mode and press ENTER.
Step 2:
In safe mode, delete the printer and spool driver files. To do so, start Microsoft Windows Explorer, and then delete all files and folders in the following two folders (where C: is the drive where you installed Windows XP):
C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers
C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86

I am trying to accept an invitation from my mom's remote assistance and this is what I got after entering the password: connect Remote Assistance could not be established because the DNS name of the remote computer cannot be resolved.
You get the error "a Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the DNS name of the remote computer could not be resolved" when the requesting computer (the computer 'demand' help) sends its private IP address instead of its public IP address in the request for assistance. The solution is 'easy' for some and difficult for others. I present here for your perusal:
(1) obtain the public IP address of the requesting computer (by visiting a web page such as http://www.whatismyip.com)
(2) save the remote assistance request computers
(3) modify the remote request for Assistance (RcBuddy.MsRcIncident) using a text editor (such as notepad) and replace the private - section of IP address should be something like this:
RCTICKET = 65538,1,192.168.1.33:3389 «»
with the public IP address from whatismyip.com or elsewhere - should be something like this:
RCTICKET = 65538,1,74.125.47.147:3389 «»
(4) save the file of RcBuddy.MsRcIncident 'new '.
(5) double click it to connect to the computer needing help
(6) cross your fingers and hope it works!I hope this helps someone else - if it's too much trouble, feel free to use the tools mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

What exactly happens when you try to install a program that needs this service?
Try these steps and see if it helps you:
Unregister and re-register Windows Installer.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. click on start and then click Run.
2. in the Open box, type msiexec /unreg and then press ENTER.
3. click on start and then click Run.
4. in the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.NOTE: you must log in using the administrator account and try to install it like that. Or you can also try running the program by right clicking and select "run as Administrator". It should work.

Make sure that the Windows Installer Service is started:
- Click Start, type Services.msc and press {ENTER}
- Double-click on Windows install
- The Startup type of Windows install the Manual value
- Click Start to start the service.
- Click OK.
If there is an error message, write it down and post back if not try and make the updates again.

Prob Winmail.
Receive the error message "the server that you are connected using a security certificate that could not be verified that the certificate CN name does not match the passed value. Do you want to continue? ». This started happening after that my laptop has been reformatted. I have synced with Gmail winmail and followed the instructions to do this correctly. By pressing the tab 'Yes' allows me to use winmail, but it's a little embarrassing.
Using a digital signature? Check the settings under Tools | Options | Security and also tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Security.
