Program are deleted. It is not on the Add/Remove list, but there are always

I tried to uninstall Real Player, because this error message about library being corrupted and Real need to reboot, makes me crazy

Went to add/remove programs and received a message that the program cannot be deleted. Presented me with a message "do you want to remove from this list?", and I stupidly clicked Yes. So, it does not show in Add/Remove programs more. But it's still there, according to the C:/Program Files...

What can I do? My goal is to remove the program, but it would also be useful to know if, after clicking on 'Yes' to this message, it may be cancelled

Thanks for any help

If Revo can't find it, then the most likely before path is to reinstall Real Player and then uninstall it (it's been so long I have installed something real that I don't remember if Real Player is one of the applications that refuse to install unless the previous version is removed).

Or ask the real (see the link at the bottom of this page)--> https://real.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8721/kw/uninstall/p/9

    Hi Sweetpence51,

    1. are you able to uninstall properly the other programs on the computer?

    2. you use Windows vista or Windows XP operating system?

First of all, make sure that you have followed the right instructions to remove the program from the computer.

If the program does not uninstall completely the first time, sometimes running the uninstall program a second time will succeed.

    Method 2

If you are unable to remove the program from the Add/Remove programs then you need to remove the keys associated with the program from the registry.

Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Vista Home Basic, 32-bit. Install software (games, etc.) does not not in Control Panel Add/Remove programs or CCleaner RevoUninstaller. They use all to. I don't know what has changed. Nothing new has been installed. How can I remove the software I want to uninstall? Thanks for your help.

    Hi il898,

This can also occur if the installation files are broken or missing for the program which may be reason for the program does not appear in uninstall a program from the list.

I suggest that you run the program to install the program again and check if you get an option to uninstall the program and try to uninstall the program.
If it still does not uninstall the program, and then try to reinstall the program and uninstall afterwards.

Download ccleaner from piriform. Click Tools > uninstall. Highlight the entries that appear, but is really installed. Then choose Delete. Reformatting is an extreme measure for a simple issue resloved. Regarding running the ccleaner registry cleaning tool, that I personally used for several years without a single incident. This does not apply to all the registry tools however.

I can't add a component from the Add Remove program window as says could not initialize winxp

My victory is xp professional ver 2002 service pack 3

It's usually easy to fix, but if you removed all the dll and inf files, you can have a bunch of other problems that you have not yet discovered.

If you mean when you try to use Add/Remove Windows components you see a message like this:

Install was not able to load the master file.
The application could not be initialized.

This happens because this file is missing:

    c:\windows\inf\sysoc.inf

There is no copy backup of this file on your system and run the System File Checker will not replace the missing file (sorry, that Microsoft committed Support Engineer 'experts').

You will need to get a real copy of your XP bootable installation CD or from a reliable source.

There's a copy on my SkyDrive, you can download - here's how:

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, put a copy of the file in this folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\Inf

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    https://SkyDrive.live.com/?CID=6a7e789cab1d6f39&ID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file named sysoc when the name of the file should really be called sysoc.inf (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

You must then copy and paste the downloaded folder appropriate on your system.

An MP3 will not play, the reason may be that there is inside the ID3 headers.

I have to remove them, otherwise the WMP cannot play. But how do I do this?

original title: MP3 will not play

    Hello

-What operating system is installed on your computer?
-What version of Windows Media Player do you use?

The ID3 header is a part of the file that stores the album information of the song (for example, the song name, artist name, album name and kind). This information is sometimes called a label. After you remove the headers ID3, Windows Media Player should be able to play MP3 files.

    Warning

Try to remove ID3 headers might damage the file and make it unplayable. Therefore, always make a copy of the file before editing.

If you try to play an MP3 file that contains compressed ID3 headers, make a copy of the file and then use an ID3 tag non - editing program Microsoft to remove or reset the file's ID3 headers.
