  Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

• Main table according to the Subvi indicator

  I have a Subvi, reading of files and make a multi-terrain with data XY Chart. Part of the Subvi code also puts some properties of the graphical indicator XY, using a property node, such as styles and names of the plot. When run as a stand-alone, it is fine. But then I have to run the VI in the frame as a larger program. XY graph indicator is an output of the Sub - VI, and in the main program, I have a light connected to the output of the Sub - VI generate the graph.

  But it does not work. The data is there, as expected, but none of the properties that I put in the Subvi, which is also logical because they act on the light located in the Sub - VI, but not that of the main program.

  Is there an easy way to have all the properties of an indicator within a Subvi be transferred to the indicator to which he is connected in the main program?

  You pass a reference to the curve that you want to assign to the property.  You could make the graph on the Subvi by default so that it still works as a stand alone.

• Program Compatibility Wizard

  Go to "this program might not have installed correctly" the program compatibility Assistant.  What should I do if I don't want the program to load at all?  I don't know even what it is, but all the other days, I get the error message.  It's from an unknown source, the program name is not indicated, and I don't want to install something that I don't know what it is.

• Media Center is Reporting insufficient disk space for each record programmed

  Since the upgrade to Windows 8 Media Center reports that there is not enough disk space for each scheduled TV recording despite there are currently more than 1 TB of free space. The programs record very well, but it is impossible to tell when it is a genuine issue (for example, a program conflict) as an indicator of each scheduled recording is also problematic.

  There is a simple solution to this in Media Center as an administrator (which implies that there may be a problem of permissions with Windows 8). However, I also use an XBox 360 as an Extender and there is no known method to apply this workaround to an Extender then it continues to be a lack of disk space for each unique record.

  I tried completely removing the recorded TV folder, followed by a reboot to allow Media Center services recreate the folder, but it does not solve the problem. I checked all the settings and Media Center reports that it has enough free space to save more than 400 hours of television, but he's still complaining lack of disk space for each individual scheduled recording.

  Any ideas?

• Program to refine edge error

  There is one had some discussions, but answers limited regarding a problem when using mask refine tool.

  I recently bought a new iMac and finally found this error: mask I refine my selection was not able to complete the mask to refine it because of a program error.

  I was in 32-bit mode and use CS5. I went from mode 32 bits, but the same error message. A program error would have indicated a problem with Adobe (for me) but could not find solutions. Refine mask is an important feature that I can't live without unlike some of the other programming quarky question.

  Any help would be apperciated!

  I ended up trashing my preferences after searching I could do to fix the problem. He allowed the question. Unfortunately, it did not help other problems.

• Upgrade to LabVIEW caused 2012 issue additional installers

  Hello again all you lovers forum useful!

  I've been using LabVIEW 2010 (SP1) for awhile on my Windows XP computer, but I recently bought and installed LabVIEW 2012 for a future project.  In the meantime, my previous projects should always use LabVIEW 2010 until I use the tracking system of formal changes to my company to upgrade.  However, when I opened recently one of my old projects in 2010 to update and rebuild the installer, I saw in the tab other installers a bunch of empty lines at the end of the list (see screenshot).  This is not directly the hurt, but I think it's a symptom of the root problem.

  Most directly concerned, the NI VISA Run-Time 5.0.3 which had been checked before was now gone and the NI-VISA Run-Time 5.2 driver which had replaced it has NOT been verified.  That seems like an upgrade oops on part of National Instruments for me.  I decided that it was just a thing, and that the installer of 2012 had replaced my 5.0.3 version with version 5.2 (removal of the old version), so I checked the version 5.2 to build my Installer, and after having demanded that my DVD to copy the software on my computer, which seemed to work ok.

  Now the immediate problem: when I distributed the project file to a colleague that has LabVIEW 2010, she was not able to build my software installation, because he asked her to drive "FADEC_Emulator".  "FADEC_Emulator" is the name of my software.  Expansion of the error dialog box showed that he wanted the drive for access to NI VISA Run-Time 5.0.3.  Open the properties of the installer in the project file in LabVIEW showed NEITHER VISA Run-Time checked 5.0.3.  However, the project of opening with Wordpad file showed that NEITHER VISA Run-Time 5.2 has been listed as an extra Installer (and NOT 5.0.3  Maybe its system because I wanted NEITHER VISA Run-Time 5.2 and replaced it automatically with the latest version, he had, 5.0.3?  Confusing!  And if he did it, why he had that version already practicing?  And versions of switching as it seems it would be a bad idea to do it silently, in case I was counting on a specific feature of the new version.

  I'm afraid that since installing LabVIEW 2012 my system got in an unstable state, and now I possibly corrupted my LV project project file.  I need to have in 2010 and 2012 on my computer at the moment.

  Does anyone have an idea of what's going on with my system, or how to fix it?

  In this case, I built the installation program on LabVIEW 2012 with VISA RT 5.2.0 then saved for LabVIEW 2010 compatibility. When I open the installer in a LabVIEW with VISA 5.0.3 2010 environment, VISA 5.0.3 has been verified (as planned since LabVIEW by default to the latest version of VISA on the PC, no matter what the original installer referenced). I did, however, see three additional empty lines in the additional installers (see below) tab. I also tried to build the Setup program that you have indicated, but did not get all the guests for the discs and was able to successfully build.

  One thing to keep in mind is that default LabVIEW uses the version of the driver that is installed on the PC version, whether it is newer or older than the installer references. If you feel that this has a negative impact on your success as a developer, please do not hesitate to post a feature request (for example, a guest at changes of the version of the driver) in our forum for the exchange of idea (http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/idb-p/labviewideas ).

  Finally, regarding empty lines in the additional installation specifications, this problem seems to be fixed in LabVIEW 2012 and manifests itself only in 2010. During my trial class, this does not affect installers of construction and is a minor inconvenience that has been fixed in later versions.

• The missing graphic audio meter screen?

  The audio graphic counter on the screen disappeared. The slider and mute key still work you just can't see the bar counter or red indicator for mute. How can I fix this?

• Repair PDF files

  We receive PDF files from external suppliers, which are processed and transferred to an archiving solution. A small percentage of these files are corrupted, and I want to fix them before transferring them to the archives.

  I tried to process files using LoadFromFile followed SaveToFile and then tested for the returncode of SaveToFile. It seems that manages some of the problems, but I would like to hear if there are better ways to repair the files.

  I thought I should use "RenderToFile", but the PDF format is not supported!

  As you can see this file belongs to Toshiba WLAN indicator and the easiest way is that you try a simple reinstallation of this program ;)

  So to remove the current version of the WLAN indicator (Control Panel > uninstall a program) and restart your laptop. After restarting download and install the latest version of the official page of Toshiba:

• Pavilion g7-2017us: updated date of the Bios but sysem watch still the old version

  I tried to download and install a new version of the BIOS (F.26, June 2014) after having a few problems with the laptop heating and freezing programs. Download details indicated that it was highly recommended.

  I tried today and the system has shown that it was already installed. I looked at C drive and it shows under bin SWSetup\sp66805\0183AF26. I have no idea what it means. It shows a date of 17/06/16 as installed. I looked into this for a while, but I know that I have not installed it.

  I do not understand why information system still shows: version of BIOS Insyde F.25, 29/05/2013 if it is supposed to have been updated.

  I understand that your Bios has updated but still showing the old version, with your HP Pavilion g7-2017us Notebook. I'm happy to help you!

  It is very strange, as the updates only I see available in the Software and Driver Downloads page were dated 1 March 2016.

  For now, I recommend to go through the steps in this guide, updated the BIOSand let me know what happens!

• Function call libraries issues

  I have a software development kit that I work with who provides (atmcd64d.lib and atmcd64d_internal.lib) .lib files and. DLL of the same name files that are located in my (x 86) /Program Files / National Instruments/LabVIEW 2013 / user.lib directory. I have a master .VI that contains lots of VI of this library. However, when I try to load the VI, it tries to find the. DLL file. I find manually the. DLL file for her. When loading, however, I get errors all my sub VI telling me that they are not executable due to an error.

  Follow this error all the way to the root, and I find that the library function node call said that the "library not found or failed to load." However, I can't change this library function node because it is in a VI that is in a library. So, I can't just point each VI to the appropriate library.

  I think the problem is that the. DLL is not directed to the correct libraries. How can I find out where the. DLL is indicative that the s VI pick up their libraries of the Labview? Should this I back?

  In addition, your files have 64 in their names (indicating that they are 64-bit dll?), but the path is in Program Files (x 86), indicating that your LV is 32-bit. I'm pretty sure you cannot load 64-bit dll into a 32-bit process, but I don't have the experience to say what would happen if you actually try.

• HP Photosmart 7520 will not print black.

  Hello... I'm new here.

  I have a 7520 HP which was a gem and has not had a single problem. Today I went to print a document in black and white and printed one side of the page while fading to white on the other side.

  I checked my ink counter and it shows more than 1/2. I tried printing again and he was almost totally faded on one half of the page and the rest was empty. It seems that just ran in the ink cartridge. I went to settings, tools, the Print Quality Report.  Printed perfectly... except that the block that was supposed to be BLACK is white.

  I installed a new ink cartridge... always a blank page. I checked the ink counter and it indicated full. I ran a report of print quality and and everything was fine... except for the BLACK BLOCK... it came out white again. All the letters printed in black on the report and were of excellent quality. I aligned the printer and received a message that says: alignment failed. Cartridges are defined for quality parameters.

  I unplugged the printer, waited a few minutes and plugged back in. Power on and I tried to print again. Same results... blank page. Aligned the printer again... same thing... Alignment failed.

  Someone at - it ideas? My printer is a little over a year old and is not widely used. I changed the black cartridge twice since I bought the new printer and it was always half full according to the meter.

  EDIT * I put a new Printhead and it works perfectly. I would like to emphasize that this printer was four... that's 4 weeks out of warranty!  I checked the number of pages... 692 pages. I'm a little disappointed on this subject, but I like the printer... so... I sucked it upward.
